I just got the new phone and the calendar function does not seem to match the Iphone 3. I can not find the option for inviting attendees to a scheduled meeting event. This is true of existing calendar events I am trying to change, as well as new ones I am adding.
Anyone have advice? User error… or is it really missing in the upgrade?

hmm, I confess, I did this before installing 10.5.2 so i can't say for sure. However, I've dealt with a few people (see e.g. this [thread|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7012957]) who are running 10.5.2 and still have this issue. I don't know what if anything 10.5.2 did about this but I'm quite sure that it didn't change the group structure inherited from Tiger.

Really sounds like you are doing it right, but the FB app is notorious for being buggy after each update, which is fairly frequent. Try to upload via the FB webpage in Chrome on the phone. You can try the mobile or desktop verion of the page by tapping menu settings in the browser. Its a little different but it'll let you know if its the app or the phone.

Disable the conference call/ three-way calling function

I have a BlackBerry Bold 9930 - NEED HELP - Is there any way to disable the conference call/ three-way calling function on this phone???? I can't make a normal phone call without randomly starting a three-way call with someone from my contact list or recent call log. I can only keep the phone so far away from my ear!!!! Please help this is a real problem!

Iphone 4s freezing at start up then shuts off and keeps restarting then repeating that process over and over. I have tried to reset the phone two different ways and still this problem occurs after I update it or turn off the phone.

yes the title says most of what is going on.
I recently reset my phone, losing all contacts and pictures. It was working fine, then after I updated it, it will not turn on completely.
It starts up with the apple logo
-goes to the ios 6 (please slide to open) screen
-then shuts off
-and repeats the process unless I shut the phone off manually
I have tried to hold the lock and the home button down to manually reset the phone
I have also tried reseting the phone completely previously, and I still have this problem.
Any ideas?

I really don't have an answer for that one. I guess that while trying to get things working correctly, I would use the most basic monitor I had which in your case would be the Eizon using the Thunderbolt port and adaptor.
When you boot into Safe Mode the startup is quite slow, but you should get the Apple logo and then the spinning gear below it (release the SHIFT key when it appears.) Then after a little more time you should see a gray progress bar appear below the spinning gear. When that disappears the computer will startup to a login screen.

I am using Crystal Report XI and can not go to Release 2. I am creating a file that will ultimately go into a CSV file. To keep my formatting and empty columns I first export to EXCEL dataonly --> And use the default settings. Then from within Excel I save as a csv. Then view in notepad to see my commas.
I have a field with "" to create empty columns. So for having 16 empty columns at the end of the file, I have that field 17 times. I am having 2 problems.
1. Adds a space to the front of my date. I have a date field with custom formatting. It exports fine except that it has a space in the front in XCEL and then in my csv.
2. Also at the end of the file I have many empty columns that I have to have. It is cutting off 10 empty columns from my details section but then adding them to my header row.
Any ideas why this would happen, or any ideas of the best way that I should add empty columns (which are commas in the csv) so that they are consistent instead of dropping off like I mentioned above?

instead of the field with "" could you use a formula
& "," & & "," & etc....
This way you will get comma seperated data, without having to use CSV format.

Fire the ToolTip in different way

I've extended Jpanel and I draw an Image inside it so that Jpanel is the viewport of the image.
In usual circumstances when i mouse over the image's viewport the ToolTip execute ,but in my case I need to execute the ToolTipText without actually mouse over the image's viewport, instead I need to press a button which in turn execute the ToolTipText that registered with that image�s viewport.
I was thinking about dispatching mouse event but it must be more ways, How can I provide such a performance in efficient way?
Does the Jpanel able to capture mouse event ?

You can do this only by implementing the MouseListener and coding the change in tool tip loginc in either, mousepressed or mouseclicked event.

After updating my iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1.3 no sound will come out from my earphones , the weirded thing is I can function everything from earphones even voice command but no sound will come out I tried the earphones on another device they function great

It's a sad thing to happen but updating to iOS 6.1.3 made sound go away from my earphones tried several ones and none worked but the phone react to earphone commands and mic but won't bring out sounds and all earphones are working perfectly on other devices and I devices , please help me out with this issue

You say you have no sound in the earphones. Often that is caused by having the earphone plug not in completely. The "little noise" is there even when the earphone is not completely put in. But for sound/music it must be in completely.

Try double clicking your HD icon, then click on your HD Volume (under devices in the left side bar), then click on Library you should be able to find StartUpItems there.

I used to use the following statement in BR to aggregate dimensions:

The tree structure is like this:
Market Segments (Never Share)

|__SC (Store) -> Level 0
|__SE (Store) -> Level 0
1. However, I found that the parent level cannot be aggregated. After I enter a value for Total Company (I think I am creating a block for Total Company), the above BR works.
2. If I change the BR to the following statement, it works. I don't need to create the block first.

FIX(@IDESCENDANTS("YearTotal"))
AGG("Market Segments");
ENDFIX

Any gurus knows the difference about the above 2 different ways to aggregate? What's wrong with the first one?

Unless you wrote the first statement wrong. The reason the first one doesn't calculate is because it does absolutely nothing
@idescendant is a declaration not a calculation
Definition of @idescendant is: Returns the specified member and either (1) all descendants of the specified member or (2) all descendants down to a specified generation or level. You can use this member set function as a parameter of another function, where that parameter is a list of members.
AGG is a calculation.
So unless I'm reading it wrong you declare the children of Total Company and then do absolutely nothing. Therefore it has nothing to do with dense/sparse or blocks existing or not.

I've tried the 5 Rs

but my computer and i-tunes are not detecting my new shuffle. When I turn it on and attach it to the dock, the orange light comes on for about a minute, and then turns off and there is no light. I've tried the 5 rs, different usb ports, and nothing's working. What am I missing?

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions.
