Trying to access an iTunes university course (free) but it doesn't play

Hi, I have been on the iTunes university free course site and seen videos and documents before. Now, it doesn.t seem to work for some courses.

See: iPod does not play content purchased from the iTMS.

I have tried to access the itunes store by many different means. I know I have account balance as I put in 2 gift cards back in March and have not used them all. When plugging in my ipod shuffle it does not automatically load either although my computer says it's working correctly.

Click on the "Start" button. Click "Run." Type the word "cmd" in the open box. When the DOS screen comes up, type "netsh winsock reset." Press "Enter." Type "exit" to close the DOS window and go back to Windows.

Check out the troubleshooting steps in the first article. If it is not resolved, then try and remove iTunes and its related software in the right order and then reinstall.

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

Sync works the same way it always has, connect the device, select the content desired to sync and sync.
All the media should be in iTunes already, iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
If this is a new computer, move the content from the old computer to the new computer.

Go to www.ecamm.com and d/l PhoneView.
To prevent a sync when plugging in the iPod/iPhone - hold down the 'option' and the 'command' keys when plugging in the iPod/iPhone - key the keys down until the iPod/iPhone is listed under the Devices list in iTunes - this will prevent a sync from taking place.
With PhoneView you can take the content from the device to the iTunes library.
