Trying to activate a creative suite (mac)... please help

Have had a rough day with Adobe... have been "helped" by the chat people at least 10 times today with no resolution. Some component of my computer (Mac) got fried, and the Apple geniuses advised me to retrieve the data and applications by getting an external enclosure and hooking the hard drive up to another Mac. I did that, but the adobe applications said that I needed to put in a new serial number. After several attempts at using the chat feature, one of the Adobe employees said that I needed to uninstall and try again (and they would do something on their end to make it work). I have this latest transcript (see below), BUT IT STILL DOES NOT WORK after re-installing. Please help...

Ned, thanks for the reply. However, that doesn't seem to solve (or actually get me any closer to solving) the problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled the creative suite, but I still get the window that says that I have 30 days to activate the software. Then, the serial number that should activate it (per Sparks above) does not. This is followed by another window that says, "We are unable to activate Adobe Design Suite Standard CS3. Click the Phone Activation button to learn how to speak with one of our Customer Care representatives." After clicking the phone activation button, however, and going through that whole process, no opportunity to speak with a Customer Care representative occurs. Before being hung up on by the automated menu voice, I am directed to use the chat feature to "speak" with a representative. This is how I've come to communicate with a number of representatives today (Sunita K / Case # 0213839182; Souvik S / Case #0213841272; Naacom N / Case #0213841941; Sparks / Case # Unknown; and others) - none of whom has been able to follow through on assisting.

Says I've reached the maximum of free accounts for my device. It's a used iPhone 4s. Trying to activate find my iPhone. Please help!?

We bought our son a used iPhone 4s almost 2 years ago. It was recently lost, but we were lucky enough to get it back. As a precaution in case it's lost or stolen again I'm trying to activate find my iPhone, but it tells me I have to have iCloud. But iCloud keeps telling me I have reached the maximum number of free accounts for this device. We have never had an iCloud account, so I'm assuming it was from the original owner. I have no way of contacting this person anymore because their eBay account is no longer active. The phone was factory reset when we bought it, and we reset it again today trying to see if that would fix it, but he lost all his stuff for nothing. We also updated the software. Is there anything we can do about this? Or at least maybe a different app that can track a phone that doesn't require iCloud? I don't know anything about Apple devices. Thanks so much!

Welcome to the Apple community.
Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your mobile device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.

copy the installation files to a desktop folder and install from there.

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like exact versions. Other than that it pretty much means what it says - older versions simply won't run on contemporary Macs.

If you have already subscribed to Creative Cloud as a student/teacher, it may be too late for you to get the current promotional discounted student/teacher EDU price of $19.99. You'll have to keep paying the regular EDU $29.99 price until your contract is up or else if you cancel it you pay the remainder that's left on the contract but it won't be cost-effective. I already asked customer service to see if they could waive the cancellation fee so that I could get the current EDU price. I can't activate my Creative Suite cs6

I recently got a new motherboard. I backed up my whole files and put them again on my disk. Now I need to activate my Creative Suite cs6 again. The problem is that the "Serial Window" requiers only numbers but i have letters and numbers in my Serial Number. I've bought the Student version.
I'm looking forward to your help.

If it was already activated once you already have a serial number, so check your account and your e-mails from back then.
