Trying to add a php page to my existing template

the title might not be what i have an issue with but its the best i could think of lol
basically i have a site layout setup already
now my site is at http://fgtestforum.info/daz
(ive been told about ap divs already)
ok in my menu under home you will see a my home link
if you click that it will load the my home page but..... my issues are as follows
1 . im struggling to get the rest of the content included in the file when the page loads
2 . my css doesnt display the box correctly unless is use the html "link" command for the css file in my page (right click - view source and youll see)
i know i dont need to use this code to get the css to work but atm till i can figure it our its the only way to display it..
3 . basically this page will be exactly the same as the index page apart from the fact the pink content box on index turns into a my home box and extends to the edge of my doc (removing the 4 little boxes from index)
basically where am i going wrong? im still new to php so any help would be appreciated

never mind i made a really simple but silly mistake
i had the myhome file in my includes folder and was trying to include php files from it in my doc.
i moved my myhome page to my root then added the include to the files and they showed up
this can be deleted

Well it's not like that Gramps, I am on that site, and it is very helpful. It is great, however I am having some issues with downloading the AMP stack(Apache, MySQL, and PHP). For some reason I am not able to download it like I need to. It's totally not like I'm not using your suggestion, cause I am very much. Trying to add a last page in Smartforms

Hi,
On the smartform I have a FIRST Page & NEXT page. The main window is set to different sizes on each page. If the invoice is one page long then the footer is triggered. If the invoice flows over to the next page the footer is only printed on the last page and the main window on the first page is utilized to the bottom of the page. My footer is set up as a secondary window that is triggered after the MAIN window.
I now need to add an appendix page that needs to be triggered as the LAST page, but the issue I'm running into is that I can't get the footer to print on the previous page any more. The footer needs to be on the previous page and a completely different set of data will print on the LAST page.
I tried using a command in the MAIN window but I really need the command to be triggered after the footer details rather than after 'the main window' in the Additional Event on the Conditions tab.
How can I get a LAST page to print and keep the footer on the previous page?

How to add Dynamic .php content to a Dreamweaver Template

OS: Windows 7
DW Version: CS5
PHP: XAMP Local Server
I hope someone can help. I have created a Dreamweaver Template for .php and created 5 child pages of this template. Everything is in working order as far as that is concerned. Here is my problem:
I want to add some dynamic data (some categories) from a MySQL database to a nonEditable section of the main template so that it will flow to the 5 child pages. I can create a connection to the database with no problem, but when I go to insert a recordset into the template, it asks me to set up the "site", "document type" and "testing server" which I have already done. I am pretty sure that this is because it is looking at the .dwt file type and saying that it needs to be a dynamic document like .php. I have tried going through those steps, but then it just ends up renaming my .dwt file to .php and then it is no longer a template. I do not know why I cannot add dynamic data to a dreamweaver template. It seems like it should be a no-brainer, but it just isn't working out for me. In my research, I did locate the following

Thanks that worked! Although I will have to re-create my child pages and re-link my style sheets and scripts. But that will not be too difficult as I have not yet added any content to them and is a very small price to pay for the answer to my bigger problem. What is a bit quirky is that I did try to create a test .php template but when I saved it, DW did not automatically add the .php to the end after .dwt. but rather just named it test.php. I didn't think to just rename it since I had read that it would add it automatically so I thought I was doing something wrong.
Maybe there are settings in the preferences that will fix this. None-the-less, I can now move forward with my development thanks to your timely response. I really appreciate it.

How to add a Cover Page to an existing document

I have a Pages document created with a Word Processing template and with Facing Pages, page 1 beginning with the right page. All of the following Section breaks will begin with the right page as in a book. The space shown to the left of page 1 currently is a blank, grey area. I would like to use this space as a cover page.
If I insert either a page break or section break at the top of page 1, it pushes page 1 down and to the left. That is not what I want. I would simply like to add the "cover" page to the left of page 1 (and continue to begin later sections/chapters at the right.
Is that possible, and if so, how do I do it?

What I actually did was insert the cursor at the beginning of page 1, and in the Menu, I did an Insert > Choose... and selected a one-page cover document. With a bit of trial and error, I was able to get the artwork to completely cover the page. However, the cover is now labeled as page 1 and I would prefer it and the following blank page to not be page numbered. I consider this as a temporary work-around so I could export to a pdf file.
Now, what I would like to do further is add a new chapter to the end of the file. In the Insert > Sections menu, I have previously created a “Chapter” Section but after adding it to the end of my document and changing the Header to read Chapter 2, it also changed all of the previous headers on the right facing pages. Not good :-(

Trying to add a loading page

Suppose I have an image called " myLoading " loaded with visible=false on canvasPage. En my code is something on the likes of
myLoading.visible=true;

But this is not working. Also, I am aware that the section between /** **/ takes long enough so that we have time to show the image

not sure if thats the right way to do a loading page...im guessing you are trying to load modules and in between the loading want to display something to the user?
if so, you should look at using states, rather than how you are doing it right now.
basically check the load progress of the module and while its loading, go to the loading state and once done, take the loading state away.

I am creating a book and had 27 pages done manually off of an album , I wanted to add more pages but when I try to add a page nothing happens.

Select the book in the left hand sourcd pane and type Command +D (duplicate). Then do as Keith suggested to turn it into two separate books, i.e one with 1-50 pages and one with 1-57 to get all of the pages included in two about equal books.
The will have to be ordered separately with separate shipping charges.

Apppologies and thanks for respones. I should have explained better - I was trying to upgrade to a full suite and that is where I get the "you are existing customer on CC" contact our support to find out if you are elegible to upgrade to a full package, etc, etc.
From there you either enter an endless loop of "click here to see packages" or use forms to find out the answer. I am not near a phone at the moment so I could not call their support AND with my previous experience with CC subscription (less than stellar), I was affraid to add just Acrobat and then attempt to fix the issue later.
Last time I believed that it will be easy to contact support and deal with an issue I ended up with hours lost and having to use different email address to start from scratch (as instructed by Adobe support). It was easier than trying to remove duplicate billing.
Again, many thanks! I will probably have to use trial version for couple of days before I get to call support.

"Unexpected error" (s) trying to add Extreme and Time Capsule to existing apple network

Hi, I am running an Airport Extreme as Base Station, plus an Airport Extreme and and two Time Capsules (serving different computers) extending the network. Everything network wise crashed last night and I have managed to factory reset the Base Station and one Time Capsule by creating a completely new network. I can see the other AE and TC in Airport Utility but overtime I try to connect them it shows 'Unexpected Error'. I have tried factory reset.Any thoughts as to the best methodology for success please? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. Eventually I created another new network all via the iMac, and got the AE base station and the two TCs working, but the other AE defied my best efforts...until I was connecting my iPad to the new network and decided to use the Airport Utility on the iPad. For some reason that worked. Can only assume some network conflict or similar software issue. I hate not knowing the root cause, but at least it's working. Cheers.

Add a landscape page in the middle of portrait document?

I need to have one page with landscape orientation in the middle of a document that's otherwise got portrait orientation. I tried to add a disconnected page, and create a new master page, but I can't seem to get it to change the paper size for just that master page. I went to Format>Page Layout>Page Size and set the new size, but I got an error message that says "The new page size is too small for some custome master page column layouts.." It seems to want to change the layout of all of the pages. What's the correct way to add this page?

The text frame has to be oriented in a horizontal manner for text entry.
If your table is wide, then create a rotated landscape master page. There's a tutorial on the Scriptorium Wiki for this at:

It's also described in the FM User Guide (or online help) in the section "Creating and editing custom master pages" as "Creating a rotated master page", the location in the Guide will vary depending upon your specific FM version.

Can we add a new attachment to an existing SC from any other custom page in SoCo PO View

Need your expert advice on the below requirement.
We have created a custom view in SoCo PO page. There we have a New custom view called Notes&attachement.which contains same value from Notes & attachment of Shopping Cart.
We are updating existing Notes of SC by FM 'bbp_pd_sc_update' and same is reflected in SC of same item guid & same header guid.
Similarly trying to add a new Attachment to already existing attachment. New attachment is reflected in custom page and the describe link is working perfectly. but if come out of SoCo page , lets say in SC the new added attachment is shown but display_url,phio_size etc are not stored properly in DB.
in bbp_pd transaction every thing looks same for new and existing attachment. we are using same FM 'BBP_PD_SC_UPDATE' by passing new internal table of attachment in import statement. Even 'BBP_PROC_DOC_UPADTE' has same result that is attachment is partially updated.
Suppose, SC has one attachment at the time of creation. then adding a new attachment in custom view of SoCo PO page then every thing works fine in SoCo PO page but out of that SoCo PO or in SC the newly added attachment is not properly updated.
I have added mime_type,phio_size,disp_url,file_name,file_ext,ev_content of new attachment in existing attachment internal table and calling above FM for update.
Can we add new attachment outside SC to existing SC ? if yes , then how?

Trying to add a simple applet to a web page

Well, I was trying to add a simple applet to a web page(php nuke Home section), it didn't fin my applet, so I changed it and added it to a simple html file to make it as simple as I could get it.
This is the code in the html file:

I doesn't know the solution but same kind of problem is come with me & I found that the problem is of Path i.e. you need to set a codebase attribute . For tempory solution what i do i simply copy the .class file in to html file dir.

Trying to add a new region to an Oracle seeded page

I have a requirement in my project where I have to add a sub tab region to standard OAF page. I have created an independent region for the same and using XML importer loaded the page on server.
Through personalization, I am trying to add region of stack layout in subtab region of the standard page. I get the following error while trying to do so:

Please verify that the reference is valid and the definition of the component exists either on the File System or in the MDS Repository.)
Do i need to create a controller for this region as my intention was just to first see the layout on screen and then add the controller later. Anybody who has encountered similiar error, please help.

Yes I have bounced the Apache.
I have also imported the xml file using the following command:

It gave the output in command prompt as:

Trying to add DOCTYPE tag to Portal base Page

I am trying to add the tag <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Frameset//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/frameset.dtd"> to the top of my base Portal pages so I can use some of the CSS positioning functions. IE does not seem to want to support them unless the DOCTYPE is set. This is an 8.48 / Portal 9.0 installation.
I am having trouble ascertaining which object or code sets the header tags.
I am seeing:

<head>
I have seen various spots where <html dir is built in HTML or code but none of them seem to be called along with any code to insert Oracle copyright information.
Is a certain part of this being built through server configuration rather than PeopleCode/HTML combinations?
Does anyone know the objects being invoked?
