Trying to add Apple ID from iTunes to iCloud
I am using iTunes 11 on Windows 7 and iCloud, I am trying to add my user ID to iCloud but am having a problem with finding Quick Links or any other way to combine both accounts. Anyone help?
No I am not trying to merge ID's but thanks! I am just trying to use the same id for both applications and when I downloaded the control panel it is not working. Maybe I will just use another cloud service.

Ok, I know this is probably a really stupid question, but I recently (like, 2 weeks ago) got a MacBook Pro after my older MacBook from 07 decided to get a mind of its own and start going on the fritz. Anyway, I had an older OS on my MacBook and therefore did not have iCloud at all. So for the past two weeks I've been trying to set up my iCloud on my new computer (who's name is Schroeder, for those who are wondering) and I've been attempting to use my Apple ID to sign up with for it (my Apple ID is the same as my regular email address). This is what I get when I try to get into my iCloud: "This Apple ID’s email address cannot be verified. Change your Apple ID’s email address at appleid.apple.com to sign in to iCloud." The thing is... my email address/Apple ID has already been verified. I was paranoid and verified it multiple times, too, and I still get the same "This Apple ID’s email address cannot be verified. Change your Apple ID’s email address at appleid.apple.com to sign in to iCloud" message when I try to sign into iCloud. What's going on here? Am I doing something wrong?
- Apps are prementently tied to the account that purchased them and you have to sign into that account to update the apps. If you have apps that need updating from more than one account you need to update them one at a time util the remainig apps were purchased from one account.
- Go to Settings>Store to sign out and sign into anohter account -
I'm trying to buy a song from ITunes which i have done many times, but it wont except my apple ID and a page comes up saying that its my first time buying from this computer and i have to answer security questions but it wont except my answers there either, which i know are right. While all this is happening i am actually already signed to itunes so why wont it accept my password when trying to buy???? Please Help.
Wish I could help. My wife is having the same problem. Same computer for 2 years and all of a suddent it thinks this is her first purchase.

If you have an existing ID, & you don't want to use a credit card, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a new ID by following the directions here, EXACTLY:

Im trying to download a movie from itunes to my ipad 2 but it says i dont have enough memory. I have 13G of space on icloud but cant figure out how to down load it to icloud. Can anyone advise please.Hi back,
Icloud cannot be used to increase internal memory of ipads, otherwise nobody would buy more expensive 32, 64, 128 gigabyte versions. Hype with "movies in the cloud" is more of itunes store, keeping movies available for you in order to download on any device. That does not go against your storage in the cloud, though.
So if you go to your computer and you purchased movie ( not rented ) you can download and watch.
There is something else to pay attention to, your ipad (if I am not mistaken) is not capable to run HD movies, make sure you do buy Standard Definition, and they will take less space on ipad. -
I downloaded several cds to my external hard drive in .mp3 format. Later, I copied them to iTunes. The songs only play when the external hard drive is plugged in. I tried to load the songs from iTunes to my iPhone and the songs don't play. I thought iTunes allowed me to transfer music to my iPhone and play it. What am I doing wrong?

When adding music to iTunes, you can set it to either make a local copy of the file, or simply point to the original location of the file (for example, on an external hard drive). If it is set to do the latter, it will not be able to play or transfer those files when the external hard drive is not plugged in. You may find the following article helpful:

Hi all, I'm trying to download a film from iTunes onto my iPad but downloaded the HD version instead of SD and don't have the room to download it. Have removed everything I can to make space but still need another 1.2 GB. Is there any way I can delete it so I can delete the version I wanted, or even better change to the SD version? The film is still queuing in the downloads list. I've tried edit and delete but that doesn't work. I also can't re-download the film from iTunes.

i live in a home with two other people, and one housemate tried to sync up his content from iTunes and iCloud onto another housemate's new iPad. the iTunes library only contains my content. is there any way to retrieve the other person's iCloud? Can they go out of my account? Their content is saved on their iPads, but can another iCloud be on the same home computer?

"Entitlements are not valid" error message when trying to sync ipa file from iTunes to iPad
Is anyone else getting this error message, "Entitlements are not valid", when trying to sync .ipa file from iTunes to iPad?
The issue I'm having is getting the ipa file that was built by the 'Adobe Flash Packager for Iphone' installed into my iPad.
So, I have a swf file that works and was able to publish it into the Android Market. I then compiled and build the same flash project with the Packager for Iphone into an .ipa file. But when I try and install this .ipa file into my iPad to do my testings, i'm getting the error message.
I would like to test my ipa file in my iPad device before submitting it to the Apple Store.
Any help would be appreciated. thank you.Developing for iphone can be amazingly complicated and frustrating. (even before you start coding). The process of having to create a Certificate, to approving the Certificate, to Assigning the deviceIDs to the certificate, to creating the AppIDs, to creating the provisioning profiles and then creating the .p12 file... is just too tedious.
I solved the problem of the "Entitlements are not valid". The AppID i had set in the iPhone Developer Portal did not match that of the AppID i had set in the Adobe Flash CS5 -> Publish Settings. (ie. com.yourdomainname.yourappname). After I re-entered my AppID and compile, i was able to sync the .ipa file into my ipad.
I wish the error message had been a little more descriptive. Could have saved me a whole day.
I hope this helps others. But my guess is, if you don't set the 40 character device ID correctly, or the email in the signingcertificate correctly, you'll get this same generic error message. -

Connect the old phone to your computer, right click on it in iTunes, and choose Transfer Purchases. That should put all of your music in iTunes except any tracks that were not purchased from iTunes. Tried to download TV series from ITunes. Most ok, but 4 will not download. All I get is: download error. Tap to retry. Repeats over and over. Please help!
If you sync with iTunes on your computer - connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Click on the iPad name on the left side. Then at the top of iTunes go to Store>Check for available downloads. See if the TV shows will download there and then sync them to the iPad.
If you don't sync with iTunes, try signing out of your account, restart the iPad, sign in again and then try to download the shows again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again. -

You need to contact Apple to get the questions reset, which can be done by clicking here and picking a method for your country, or if that's not an option, by filling out and submit this form.
