Trying to add goggle analytics widget to muse files

Trying to add goggle analytics widget to muse files. When "master page" is referred to is adobe referencing the masters (at the bottom of the plan section) or are they referring to all the pages build on the original master.
Also, if applying the analytic code only (not widget), same question as above. Each and every page or just the base master pages. I added it to master page/page properties/metadata but it completely messed up the code.

ANY IDEA WHAT "AT THE TOP" means? OUT OF CONTENT AREA? Are they referring to the "desktop area" outside the perimeters of the website width?

You're not giving us much to go on. Go to your Google WebMaster account & grab the GA tracking code. Re-insert it into some test pages. Analytics reporting may not show anything for several days.

Make sure that both the web browser you're using and its Flash plug-in are up to date. Google Chrome has its own Flash plug-in it updates on its own. Firefox, IE and other have separate plug-ins.

Trying to use the contact widget inside muse

Hi,
I am building a site and require a contact form for feedback etc and I am trying to use the contact form that comes with muse. All seems ok, ie the form appears correctly on my test website, the recapure text is there to copy, but when I try to submit an email from the form, nothing happens.. I have the BC CAPTURE toggle set true, on the widget, and enter the required text correctly,
My question is, is it not working because I have a webbasics package given to me as a CC member and I have to upgrade to webbasics+ for this form to work as it needs email and that is only made available to webbasics+ members and above ??

I had a further thought, just wondering if its because the site isn't yet live and needs to be live for the form to work.... I get "server encounterd an error" message when I press the "submit" button. ???

Hmm, just tried with a live site and all I get is Red text saying required, the text is entered as shown, with and without spaces and still nothing happens...

Trying to add Google Analytics to Dreamweaver site, not working

I had Google Analytics set up on my dreamweaver site and all of a sudden it stopped reporting data. A co-worker who no longer works here was working on the page to fix some non-relevant errors and as a result Google Analytics stopped working. The strange thing is I had it pasted on every page of our site and nothing is reporting data. It is reporting a syntax error on line x...but I am unaware what and how to fix that. Help?

Trying to add some security to uploading .DWF files from my application

My application uses the LDAP authentication scheme, and its working great.
But my application also provides a link to Floor Plans that are stored on the files system in DWF format.
The link is on the directory path which is an attribute to the record.
Part of the directory path is masked because the files on my system are located in the Document Root. (Thats fine).
But the link can be copied and pasted into any browser without any means of validation or security.
We like our LDAP authentication scheme, but I need to secure these files.
I've found something in the Pro Oracle Application Express book that sounds promising, but I don't know how to apply it.
In Chapter 9, File Storage, and the Standard upload section, I read about the "WWV_FLOW_API.SET_SECURITY_GROUP_ID" procedure. This procedure accepts the numeric value of the Workspace. If I could somehow use this procedure along with a condition for UpLoading the file that might work.
Can anyone give me some ideas here?
The example the book gives is this EXEC WWV_FLOW_API.SET_SECURITY_GROUP_ID(99999nnnnnn);
where (99999nnn..) is the same numeric id as SELECT &WORKSPACE_ID. from dual;

How to Add Google Analytics?

I would like to add Google Analytics to my flash file. The flash file is contained in a HTML file, which I already added the script provided by Google Analytics. At the moment, when a user visits my site, regardless which page is visited, only the homepage is counted.
What as3 do I add to the flash file to keep track of each page that is being visited? I've tried a few codes provide on Google Analytics page and other tutorials, but none worked. The as3 for the menu buttons is displayed below.

I am trying to add href track in quicktime mov file (win xp )by following the instructions given on

I want to popup url automatically while playing the mov file.I have added this text file as href track in mov file
content of url.txt file are
A<http://www.yahoo.com>
and follow exactly the same steps given in www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/hreftracks.html
But when i run the final mov file with href track it is not popping up the url www.yahoo.com automatically .
Please help me out i have stuck in this situation badly

How do I Add Google's Universal Analytics to a Muse site

I'm trying to add Google's new Universal Analytics code (.js code) to my muse site. I've added the js code into the Master page that every page uses but that doesn't seem to work. I've also tried adding it individually to each page (removing it from the master) but that also doesn't work. Google's tag manager says it is installed, but Analytics says it isn't.
Does anyone know how I'd install it? Here is the website in question.

When is Muse going to add BC ecommerce widgets to the library?

Been waiting for over a year and Adobe has not added BC widgets to Muse, and BC has not provided a way to add or integrate all of their features into a Muse built website. On www.musegrid.com they now have a widget that you add a BC blog to Muse. So how did they figure it out before Adobe made it available to all of us? So that tells me it can be done for all the BC features. You can absolutely insert a blog into your Adobe Muse site. Most instructions for doing this involve creating a WordPress hosted blog, then embedding that into a Muse page with 'Insert HTML', which creates an iframe with your blog inside.
While embedding an existing blog with an iframe within a Muse page works, it isolates the blog's content from being considered in the main site's SEO, since it's pages are not actually on the site's server.
The simplest way, and it's very simple, is to install a WordPress, or any other, blog into a folder in your site named 'blog'. Pick a theme that enables you to mimic your main as closely as you care to. Then create a link in your main site's menu to link to the blog folder. Here's an example...

You can also use a blank WordPress theme with no header or footer at all - only the blog posts and sidebar(for categories and recent posts, etc.). Use that theme with a locally installed WordPress blog, them embed that blog in an iframe, and you'd have a very functional blog that can perfectly fit your Muse site's theme, since it's header and footer will actually be the ones on your main site. Plus, since it's actually hosted along with your Muse site's files, it's available for the site's SEO.
For SEO purposes, you'll need to add your blog folder manually to your sitemap.xml. This is a bit of a hassle, since you'll need to add the blog's entry into your sitemap.xml each time that you re-upload your site, since that actually writes a new version of the sitemap.xml over the existing one. Still, it's a very simple way to add a blog to your Muse site.

To add images press CTRL+D and then select the image and place it where you want.
To hyperlink it go to the top menu and there should be Hyperlink folowed by a box. Enter your URL to link in there.
You can also use the slideshow widget should you want to make a slideshow.

I notice the sign in is now already there. What Safari version are you using? I tested on 6.0.2 (the latest) and seems to be working fine. Did you try other browsers?
Also, looks like you're publishing from muse and using non-web-safe fonts, thus turning your texts into images. That may not be the best way to go, if you want content to be indexed, layout to be flexible, if users might want to select parts of the text, etc.
