Trying To Add UIScrollbar To Flash Website But FLA File Has No Layers

I was asked to add content to a flash website page... When I open the FLA file, there are aboslutely no layers for me to work with. I found an .as file that contained the page content and so I added the needed content there. But this is where I run into a problem. I'm fairly new to flash so perhaps this is common. After adding the additional content, the content now extends vertically and beyond the page borders. In doing research, I discovered that the solution is to change the TextField to "dynamic" and add a UIScrollbar during the build. I've learned to do this but the problem remains that I don't have any layers to modify for this particular website. Can someone explain why or how I can find the layers for this file? I am using Flash CS3... and unsure what version the original designer was using. I guess another option is to add a UIScrollbar to the website by modifying the .as file directly. Can this be done? Please help!

It appears that the only items in the library are movie clips and a couple bitmaps. But I have no clue how to add a UIScrollbar without having the textlayer in front of me. The FLA file I am trying to edit is for global and trendy links (dot) com.

If so, there are spaces available for:
Title, Location, Biography, Expertise, Company Name, Education Degree and Institution, Certifications, Personal Interests
... I guess you could add "Responsibility" into Biography or Expertise if you're that bothered.

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

I notice the sign in is now already there. What Safari version are you using? I tested on 6.0.2 (the latest) and seems to be working fine. Did you try other browsers?
Also, looks like you're publishing from muse and using non-web-safe fonts, thus turning your texts into images. That may not be the best way to go, if you want content to be indexed, layout to be flexible, if users might want to select parts of the text, etc.

You are using the JDBC-ODBC bridge with Microsoft Access, no? I had similar results, although my garbage number would change if I changed my program around. I reported it as a bug but the response was that it was my fault. I don't think so, and I don't think it's your fault either.
My solution was to change the program to update via SQL Update statements.

i had the exact same problem and the solution is quite simple rather than taking suggestions like Reinstalling Itunes or something complicated like that. what you do is...
1) Open up your Itunes
2) Go to your apple device at the top right corner of the Itunes application on your computer
3) Scroll to the bottom where it says "Options"
4) Check all of the boxes.. ACCEPT for the last box that says "Manually manage music and videos"
5) Double check that the "Manually manage music and videos" are UNCHECKED.
6) Now retry to sync your music.
HOW TO UPLOAD ALL YOUR MUSIC AT ONCE.
1) CLICK ON YOUR SONGS TAB WHERE ALL YOUR MUSIC IS
2) CLICK ONE SONG THEN PRESS "CTRL & A" KEYS AT THE SAME TIME THEN DRAG ALL THE MUSIC TO YOUR DEVICE AND FINALLY SYNC IT.
