Trying to burn an audio cd and i keep getting an error 4000

Im trying to burn a audio cd and i keep getting this error...
"The attempt to burn a disc failed. An unknown error occurred (4000)"
it started as soon as i upgraded itunes to its newest version....what should i do?

I have been pulling my hair out over my Error 4000 for two months now (since 5.x upgrade), and this is the most information I have heard yet. Any updates on this? My DVD/CD RW drive (the LG GWA-4161B) does not and will not have any driver updates from what I understand. Would it help to get a new DVD/CD burner?
