I already have skype set up on my three network mobile. If I try to call skype online number from other phone, is it coming to the skype that already set up on the three network mobile or my computer?

I have the same problem. In Skype Manager the online number was deactivated 10 days ago at its year end. I added lots of credit today and allocated 100euros to the account that holds the de-activated number - but it still asks for more credit (it costs 50euros to reactivate for a year).
Question - How do I get Skype Manager to recognise that there is enough credit allocated in the account to reactivate the number?

To be more precise: I do have two Skype online numbers purchased in my private account - can I move these to the Skype Manager account?
I need a smooth transition in order not to loose the numbers and thus be forced to communicate new numbers everywhere.

Can I take calls made on my Online Number using Skype 3 MobilePhone? Is there any cahrge for that or do they count as just calls made to my Skype account (and no forwarding cahrges apply)?

It all depends on what country you are in, where your callers are, what telephone carrier serves those callers, and what your number is. It is possible that callers could be liable for call charges, depending on their location and your number.
Please don't post complete numbers here. If you post any numbers, please replace the last 4 digits with XXXX. Someone here may be able to do some research, depending on the situation and how much information for the telephone carrier your callers use is posted online. Otherwise, they - or you - would need to contact that carrier to ask why they are incurring STD (long-distance) charges instead of the calls being treated as local calls.

Online number vs skype number

what is the difference between online number and skype number please?

UK English here, and in July 2015 it still (?) says "online number" for 12 months and "Skype number" for other periods. Do you test any languages other than US English? It sounds like you should assume this error (assuming it really is an error) exists for all langauges and update them all. It makes me very reluctant to buy. How do I know that there isn't some term and condition somewhere that says "X is valid for Skype Numbers but not Online Numbers" or visa versa? How do I know that X months down the line, I won't find that I'm unable to do something I want to do or am charged for something I wasn't expecting to be charged for, and I'm told that it's because I signed up for an "online number" instead of a "skype number" and that "the posts saying otherwise on the forum were in error, the details are on page 9,121 of MS terms and conditions..." - I've dealt with plenty of companies who do things like this.

Purchase of online number with Skype Credit

I purchased $30, but I of Skype credit and went to purchase an online number with it, but I keep getting the same message to sign in to my account to purchase. I am signed in, it says hello to me. So the next thing I tried was to sign out of Skype completely and Quit it on the desk top, then sign in again. nope same message. I selected a special number for this and now it is expiring because I can't make skype take skype credit! What so I do, time is short. With the plan I purchased I was suppose to have live chat with skype to troubleshoot the problem, but I don't have access to that either!

Calling Online number with Mac and iPhone running ...

I'm running V5.3.0.1093 on OSx Lion, I have the latest version running on my iPhone4, when I call my online number from a landline both the Mac and iPhone ring, if I answer the call on my Mac the iPhone continues to ring until the end of the call.
This only happens when the Skype app is running in the background on the iPhone, I also get a missed called notification on the iPhone. The is very annoying as I can't mute the ring or adjust the volume, the mute button and volume control on the phone is rendered useless!!

My response might not make you very happy but it is what it is, firstly the call forwarding works by your skype phone calling you and directing the call. Meaning you are getting a call from skype not the original phone meaning you cannot get caller ID. Second Your skype VM only works when the call is unanswered and if your mobiles VM answers it is not unanswered. It is approximately the same effect though except mobile VM costs money and skypes does not.

We also have skype credit on the account, and the phone is set to online with the option of going to voice mail.

Dropping merged calls - Online Number

I often do calls where I patch in 3 or so people on my cell. One of those people uses a Skype Online Number. I will start calling people and merging the calls on my IPhone (as if I'm merging normally with other mobile lines and landlines). At some point, I will call the Skype Online number, which initially picks up just fine. Then, the Online Number will either not merge or drops shortly after merging.
The problem could be the fact that I don't have Skype Credit, but I believe I don't need it if I'm dialing the Online Number as in incoming call.
Any ideas?

Interesting. I found on another thread (click here!) that with the ConnectMe, firmware version 1.0.6.3 supports inbound caller-id. So I checked and my devices says:
"Current firmware version 1.0.1, last updated on 08-12-2011. From time to time the firmware of your device may be upgraded."
I guess I will have to wait and see when the device does a firmware upgrade to see if the caller-id feature starts working on in-bound calls.

ATT Mobile Network cannot call Online number

Hi,
We are seeing call completion issues when callers on ATT's wireless network attempt to call our Online Numbers. The symptom we see: caller will hear one or two ringtones, then the caller hears "we're sorry this call cannot be completed as dialed please check the number and dial again."
Calls from other networks complete just fine. We have tried this with several ATT wireless numbers with the same result.

What happens when you call the number? Usually this is a network problem with the network of the number you are calling.

Invalid number when trying to call French number

Heeelp! I try to call a number from Romania, to a person who is now in France. I have called to the number,and appears me a message" invalid number" why? i have a subscription with 400 min on France with 10e. Whhhhyyyy?

It can be because of The attempted conversion of a character string to a number failed because the character string was not a valid numeric literal.
Only numeric fields or character fields containing numeric data may be used in arithmetic functions or expressions.
Only numeric fields may be added to or subtracted from dates.
Check the character strings in the function or expression.
Check that they contain only numbers, a sign, a decimal point, and the character "E" or "e" and retry the operation .
Check API design.

Hello,
I've a 7$ Skype Credit lying in my account and yet, when I try to call a Belgium mobile phone, I get an error failing my call to that number. I read all the forum posts and yet, I couldn't understand why Skype isn't letting me talk to a Belgium phone.
The error is vague and equally frustrating is that I didn't see anywhere a dedicated customer service contact anywhere on Skype site. Can someone please help me understand this error.

Go to > Account Page > Set up Caller ID > Verify Number

IMHO. I think you need to determine if you would like a single method to fund Skype services to other Skype names you can create using the Business Manager as well as if you intend to share a Skype name with others.
Sadly, if you intend to share a Skype name, those that have the password for that Skype name, who maybe need it to answer calls from that Online Number, could change the password to that Skype name, if that Skype namecreated by the Business Manager was assigned the Online Number from the Business Manager in that case, the password can be easily reset.
That said. If that Skype name was not created by the Business Manager, an angry person having access to that Skype name and password, might change the password and then you maybe at their mercy to be able to answer calls from that "Online Number" assigned to that Skype name and/or access to other Skype services assigned to that Skype name. as well.
So, there are some security benefits as well as single source funding/payment benefits to consider one over the other based on what you might want and do now or in the future.

Credit or a subscription is required for call forwarding or outbound calling. Standard inbound calls consume no credit or subscription. The people calling you still have to pay the standard rate it costs to call the Skype number from their phone (billed by their phone provider) similar to you having to pay for your Internet/Data plan bill to use Skype on your phone.
