Trying to cancel skype

I've been trying to cancel my Skype now for a few days. I've tried every avenue and nothing!!! Why is it so hard to cancel? If you know how please email me at [Mod edit: Please do not include personal/private information when making a public post. Thanks!]

    I have just spend 20 minutes also trying to cancel my Premium subscription.  It seems that the site is purposely design to keep this from a happening.  Fortunately I canceled my credit card (for another reason) so I guess Skype will not be tyring to track me down as a owing them.  
    Also, has anyone noticed there is not way to submit a question if it does not fit into one of the pre-define categories...funny I could not find a category for "how do I get out of this Roach Hotel"

    I triedmany times to purchase Sky credit. But I get themessage that I have been blocked. Contact help line.
    I do not see any help line as such.
    The reason I think I was blocked that earlier this year there was a free offer for one month forClick to call. I signed for that and gave my credit card details. I then went toIndia and I tried to make skype phone call but I could never connect any number in India or to UK where I reside.
    Because the monthly payment of nearly ten ponds would statrt from thenext month, I cancelled the standing order payment ( earlier month was free offer like any one can get even now ).Just because I cancelled the standing order, I can not buy a credit now. I offered to pay up any thing If I owe any money but I do not get any response.
    I get warning mail every day from Skype that I should renew my subscription. But I can not renew my subscription because I have been blocked ! It is a chicken and egg situation, which occurs first. Can any one suggest how I can purchase Sky credit?

    Your account is blocked. Unless and until it is unblocked you can't make any calls or purchases.

  • How do you cancel skype premium????

    The process to cancel skype premium does not seem to work.  I have tried it online, on a Mac and on a Windows computer.  When you go to group video and click the "change my account settings" link, it says I don't have an internet connection.  How do you think I was on the page to be able to even click the button?  I find it interesting that you can sign up for it very easily but cancelling does not work.  I also find it interesting that there is apparently no way to contact anyone at skype to report this as a problem or cancel it.  HOW DO I CANCEL SKYPE PREMIUM?????

  • Trying to cancel subscription...

    Want to create a new skype ID. Before that, I'm trying to cancel my existing skype premium subscription, 'release' the online phone number and remove the associated credit card information (and willing to let go of any remaining credit). Was able to cancel the subscription but there is no option to remove/release online phone number. And when I try to remove the credit card, it says I must cancel subscription first (which I did already). UGGGHHHH.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Online Number can be released only through refund or number expiration and even then it will still be linked to Skype account for 90 days.

    I have been trying to cancel my Skype Pro monthly subscription for months but continue to get charged for it. The 'cancel your subscription' link in the 'We've delivered your order' email fails. I DO NOT WANT A SKYPE PRO SUBSCRIPTION!!!

    Same with me. Skype Pro monthly subscription does not stop after I emailed to Skype support several weeks ago. They simply ignored me.

    Hi, Sqrly, Skype is aware of existing website issues. Temporarily enabling scripts, pop-up dialog boxes, and disabling plug-ins which could prohibit pop-ups may help get past website problems. (Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service )
    If you still experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service or find yourself redirected back to the Community, please try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented.
    Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also block reaching an agent.
    Last and not least, when you reach the last step of the process, remember to click on the "Start Chat" link when you are provided the choice of visiting the Community or starting an instant message chat with a customer service agent.

    I have the same issue as many other people: I have tried like many others to cancel "Skype Pro" without success. I´m getting billed $3 each month for something I've been trying to cancel for over a year. I have followed all instructions to cancel although in the last step in Skype Pro settings it says "Are you sure you want to cancel your subsciption ? when I click on "Yes, cancel my subscription", it takes me back to the page where it says that my subscription is active.  There is no confirmation that the Skype Pro subscription has been cancelled.  In addition to that, I'm being charged twice a month for it, every two weeks!

  • I want to but cannot cancel Skype Premium

    I have waded through the maze of screens telling me how to cancel Skype premium.
    I cannot delete my payment method as Skype Premium has to be cancelled first.
    I cannot go into subscription settings as there is no settings option as described in the how to.
    I cannot open chat support, no matter how many browsers I try.
    I do not use premium, I do not want it and I find it quite ludicrous that there is no simple way to cancel it or contact support.
    I see all the other topics saying the same thing but no solution.
    Please can someone help! I don't care about a refind. i just don't want to be debited for yet another year for somehting that I don't use and that I now read has no purpose as the only feature which was desirable is now free.

    I am trying to get skype on my BB STORM, I have looked high and low and understand that the wireless co. doesn't support or want these apps cause they loose out.
    I have tried ISKOOT and looked for and found a skype prgm it's a .JAD  file, that said it was for the storm but when  I try and use the desktop mgr it says not supported, maybe I have the wrong one or just trying to install it wrong.

I thought that I had cancelled it at one address but was billed for the next issue today so obviously I got that wrong.  I'm in Australia, if that makes a difference.     l am having an issue when trying to cancel an invoice document via MR8M transaction. It gives me the following error message;
    SYSTEM ERROR: error in routine MRM_DRSEG_CR_CREATE
    Message no.M8008
    Procedure:
    Contact your system administrator.
    This invoice was related to a check payment. The check has been voided already and there is no clearing document for the accounting document. So, the item remains open. However when l try to reverse, it display the error message above.

    The button would be on your iPod version of Skype, not the computer version. They are not the same.
