Trying to change icloud account

I would like to change my icloud account, so my family and I are not backing up to the same icloud account. I'd still like to keep my same apple Id for itunes and apps, but am having a hard time. If I delete the icloud account from my iphone, it won't prompt me to set a new one up, Any suggestions?

If you want to migrate your device to a new account and keep your data, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; this won't effect anyone else's devices), provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted . Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.
You can continue to use the same ID for iTunes. It doesn't need to be the same as the ID you use for iCloud.

Many people are having probalems with this right now. The only solution I've seen that seems to consistently work is the one posted by Brackers28 here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/23020591#23020591. This only works if you still have access to your old email account. If you don't, you'll have to have Apple help you reset the password for your old account so you can turn off Find My iPhone and sign into your account with your correct ID.

Then you'll have to use another iOS device or Mac running OS X Lion or higher to create a new account for you to use on your phone. If you don't have one, perhaps a friend would allow you to create and account on their device (note: this will use one of their three maximum accounts). To do this, they would need to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which will delete the account from their device but not from iCloud), then allow you to sign back in with your ID to create the new account. Then tap Delete Account to delete the new account from their device, and finally, sign back in with their iCloud ID to restore their iCloud account to their device. Then you can sign in with your ID on your phone in Settings>iCloud and use the new account.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Yes you can continue to use the former ID for the iTunes Store.
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

Try to change the credit information from your iphone or other ios device. Tap on settings > store > tap Apple ID > tap view account > tap payment information > change

Go here and select "Reset your password." You will receive an email message with a link that bypasses the questions. You will then be able to select and answer the questions again.

You need to delete the account and add it back using the other account info. If you delete the account, the information in iCloud will be removed from your device but not from iCloud.
