Trying to change password on ichat

I am trying to set up ichat and it is asking me for a password that it is not accepting. How can I change password?

Depends on what type on name you are using.
@Mac.com and MobileMe (@Me.com) names have to have passwords that conform to the AIM 16 character Limit.
If your is MobileMe then change the Password there (Then in iChat)
If An @mac.com name then use iFogot
If it is an Jabber accounts then you would have to do some wort of Password Recovery with the server that the name is from.
GoogleTalk have their own Settings a an Accounts Settings page that you log in to.
I would think that Yahoo if you have an account would be similar (Not sure if they have a password limit).

To post this question, I tried thierd time to change password, and before I tried to log in to App store, I logged in this community, and I could !
Then I could finally log in App store also.
But still I feel something is wrong with my connection.
Why the trace route does not show to the apple site ?

Hi,
when getting an ORA-600 you always should contact Oracle support please ;-)
To diagnose an ORA-600 the stack trace will be necessary - see the trace file mentioned in the alert.log when the ORA-600 did happen.
But FIRST OF ALL you should definitely apply patch set 9.2.0.8 and see if this error happens again (metalink.oracle.com ==> PATCHES ==> Quick Links ==> <your platform>). Support will ask you to do the same before they start diagnosing anything in this case.
And please keep in mind that 9.2.0 has reached end of Premier Support more than 1 year ago.

You download iPad update via iTunes on your computer if you are running any version less than iOS 5.
You can connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Select the iPad on the left side under the devices heading. Click on the Summary Tab on the right. Click on Check for Update.
If you have the original iPad, you can only update to iOS 5.1.1.

If you have iOS 5 on the iPad, you can update over WiFI. Settings>General>Software Update.
You don't update iTunes on the iPad other than updating the iOS. iTunes is updated when the iOS is updated.

Why do we get First operand...error message when trying to change password

I'm new at posting here, so sorry if I'm doing this wrong. I did search first to see if there was info on this already, but I didn't find anything. (If there is already something out there, please point me to it.)
We are using PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 SP1.
We have basic workflow enabled in expenses which generates an email to an approver with a link into PS Expenses (right to their worklist area) when they have an expense report to review. When the user clicks the link they are directed to the PS sign on page. Normally they can sign on without any problems. However, if their password has expried they will be redirected to a page which says "Your password has expired. Click here to change your password." When they click the link they recieve a blank page with an error message that starts out as "First operand of. is NULL, ".
I cannot replicate it in our test environments.
I have confirmed that we have the PSWDEXPR permission list in our environment.
I have also confirmed that our template for Change Expired Password is correct (PeopleTools > Portal, Structure & Content > Folder, "Tools - Hidden" > Change Expired Password > Template is PRTL_TEMPLATE_PASSWORD_EXP)
I have also tried changing our brower cache to 0. (PeopleTools >Personalization >Personalization Options > Option Category Level = PeopleTools, Format tab, User Option of METAXP. I changed METAXP to 0 instead of 900 which was set by default).
The odd thing is that if the user waits one day, they can use the link in the expense workflow email and change their password no problem.
Also, when our users do experience this problem, if they log into PeopleSoft without using the link from the expense workflow email the change password function works fine.
The link seems to be okay since it works fine at all times unless the user is prompted to change their password.
Any suggestions?

Two hours now trying to change the password for my WRT320N !!! Have latest version of EasyLink Advisor; running WINDOWS 7 on my PC. Geting error "Msg 100 000 000 UNHANDLED ERROR" when I try to change the password. Can anyone help...PLEASE?

Try to reset the router, please press and hold the reset button of the router for 30 seconds and power cycle the router. If the problem persists please use another computer for change your password.

Error Code 112 when trying to change password through OID

When I try to change the passwrod of any user by going into OID( I am logged in as orcladmin user) it says Modify failed, error code 112 and details unknown.
Somewhere I founf out that this could be beacuse of Password Policy entries and so when I tried to change the policy entries, it again displayed the same error. So basically I am not able to modify any entry in OID
Immediate help in this regard will be very helpful

I also got this, and was able to work around it by opening the Oracle Directory Manager, logging in as orcladmin, going to the relevant entry and then:
1. Creating another copy of it (using the create copy button), renaming it and its cn slightly
2. Deleting the original
3. Creating yet another copy of the copy, this time naming it what the original was
3. Deleting the first copy.
I think it might have had something to do with the fact that I imported in my entries using bulkload and then was trying to edit them as orcladmin.... making the new versions as above changes the modifier etc to be orcladmin.... but I'm new at this stuff so who knows :)

I Am trying to download an ebook to my new iPad mini. I already had an account for my ipad2 but forgot the pw. I successfully changed the pw, but it still won't let me sign on. Says incorrect pw. Ultimately I would like all 3 of my devices (iPhone) linked to the one account. I have "chatted" twice with Adobe. They referred me to this site. help!!!!

What password are you talking about? What did you reset?
When updating to iOS 7 the process will ask you to set up a four digit passcode as a security feature. If you created a passcode there then that is what you are being asked when you first turn on your iPad or when you wake it from sleep after an Autolock. If you cannot remember or do not know your passcode take a look at this Apple support page:

Tried to Change Password, now wireless doesn't work

I would love any assistance with this.
I used 192.168.1.1 (which my cimputer says is my ip address) to pull up the admin page. Went to wireless password and changed my password, clicked save. The page kept cycling like it was saving data for 30 minutes or so but the save bar wasn't moving, so I clicked out and rebooted my computer. That's when the problem started. I can't connect to the internet now using my wireless.
I cannot pull up the admin page at all. It just times out. I am connected to the internet with an Ethernet cable to my laptop. I have reset the router and unplugged it for 30 seconds. I have unplugged my modem as well and restarted my computer about 4 times now.
I think the new password was possibly saved. So I changed it under the network connection site key and rebooted, didn't work. So I changed it back to the original password.
What do I do?

Hard reset the router by holding the reset button in back for 30 seconds and release. Wait 30 seconds and power cycle the router. Connect via wired computer to 198.168.1.1 user name blank, password 'admin'. Now reconfigure the router manually.

Also, this is very important... the router has changed the main admin password to the wireless pasphrase and I cannot undo it! When I change the password back to what I want it to be and save it acts like it is working but then when I start up Cisco Connect it tells me the password has been changed back to what it was prior to changing and saving it.

Sounds to me like you'll have to uninstall / reinstall Cisco Connect.

If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password. In OS X 10.10 and later, this option also works with FileVault, but only if you enabled it when you activated FileVault. It's not retroactive.
Otherwise*, start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities window appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar at the top of the screen—not from any of the items in the OS X Utilities window.
In the window that opens, type this:

Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:

Press return. A Reset Password window opens. Close the Terminal window to get it out of the way.

Error while trying to change the user password on OSX Lion

I am trying to change the user password ( no admin user ) using the webinterface. I enabled the functionality in webservices on the server.
I can loginto the three line password changing form. After I enter the old and two times the new password, I get the information
"Your request could not be completed. The password server may be unavailable."
How can I fix this problem? I also tried https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2485167?start=0&tstart=0.

I currently have this error on my 10.6.8 ML server when trying to change password.
In my situation, the message definitely comes from the password policies. As soon as I use a new password that respects minimum complexity (e.g. 8 characters min, 1 lowercase letter, 1 uppercase letter, 1 number), the password changes flawlessly.
It would be nice to change this horrible message to something more meaningful... If someone has any ideas on how to do this, thanks for sharing!

C370 - Problem changing password from GUI

I'm facing a problem when trying to change password when it's expired (by password policy) at C370 w/ 7.6.3-019.
Already tried at IE 9.0 and FF 24.6.0 ED without success. The only way I can change password is from CLI.

Is this per the System Administration > Local User Account & Password Settings, w/ password reset rules set there? Specific account/admin account? Or a custom defined account?
From what you describe - sounds like would fall in-line with standard procedures if admin account related...
If you lock the admin account, you can only unlock it by logging in as the admin through a serial communications connection to the serial console port. The admin user can always access the appliance using the serial console port, even when the admin account is locked.
