Trying to connect kodak c315 to macbook air downloaded driver but cannot run software why?
just purchased new macook air and trying to connect to my Kodak C315 printer via WIFI
I have downloaded driver from Kodak support but when I try to install get error that cannot run software as it is from an unknown developer
can anyone help please

any ideas?Isn't it fun trying to do things without an ethernet cable direct to the computer.. Apple sell a usb to ethernet adapter cable fairly cheap.. makes life a lot easier having something to do hard connections.. or as hard as usb can manage.
Since you have to access the TC by wireless .. press and hold the reset button on the TC for about 10sec until front led flashes rapidly.. don't worry about the ethernet cable.. leave it disconnected.
Now click on the airport symbol and join another network. The TC should revert to its home name.. which will be a combo of Time Capsule and its MAC address. There is no wireless security and you can do the setup. -
im trying to connect to apps store and to download apps but i cannt. the massege that say me is your payment method was declined. what can i do about this?
Try removing said card then re-enter all card details, if still no joy then try a different card to see if it is the card or a problem with your iTunes account, one other thing that you could try is changing your iTunes password as this sometimes cure thing as well.
Also have a look at your purchase history to see if you have any items that are still waiting for payment as this can sometimes screw up your payment method, if this is the case then I would defiantly try a different card.
If none of the above work then I would contact iTunes support. -
Trying to connect HP1020 to new MacBook air

I'm trying to connect my HP Laserjet 1020 to my new MacBook Air. I have a cable so it's not wireless. It's an excellent printer, has served me for years and I really don't have the money to buy a new one. Is there any way I can use the printer on my new computer? The HP website say that don't have a driver for Mac. Can anyone help? I'd very much appreciate it!

There are no Mac drivers for this model available.
It was only intended for Windows operating system.
I have provided the driver page for the Laserjet 1020. You will notice there are no Mac drivers available.

I am trying to setup bootcamp on my MacBook Air. I have a wifi internet connection which works fine in Safari etc. However, when I get to the point of downloading the windows install files I am told the network is not connected, but it is!
I have a simple automatic connection set up to a wifi router which works fine for all standard internet functions - mail, safari, downloads in safari etc. Where it falls down is that the system doesn't recognise it in network diagnostics. When I reach the point of downloading win installation files for my air from the internet it says I am not connected to the internet and runs network diagnostics which proceeds to break my internet connection. If I stop network diagnostics, close the windows and simply switch my wifi off and on then I'm back up and running, but the network diagnostics still doesn't believe it.
Any ideas? Seems completely illogical to me...This is the message I get if that helps anyone...

Both my phone number and my icloud email are checked, and I have signed out of icloud on both devices. Still no luck. Can someone help? I don't care about the ipad, I just want SMS messages to work on my computer.

AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). It also requires the computer to be using wi-fi. -
i recently tried to remove widows7 on my macbook air using bootcamp and halfway through it grayed out .The windows 7 is removed but i cant free up the 62gig partition the windows was occupying on my 121gig ssd harddrive please help
You may have to see about using the Recovery HD partition to attempt to erase and restore useful function of the capacity lost to the former Windows installation.
And you may have to backup your contents outside the computer to do it. Disk Utility on the Mac OS X historically has not been able to touch a BootCamp created partition; so if BootCamp cannot remove it, then you have to see how to do the equivalent of a reformat of the entire drive (less Recovery partition?) then reinstall your OS X. Maybe from internet recovery, then get your applications, etc from the Mac App store, etc.
A complete system clone of your OS X on an external HDD would be another method to restore after reformat, of the portion you want whole again, not necessarily the space where Recovery may live.
There may be (an)other way(s).
Perhaps someone with recent experience
in this matter can reply & discuss options.
With my antiques, they almost know what I want before I tell them.

I purchased Huawei Dongle and trying to connect with my new MacBook Pro (OS- Mountain Lion) USB port 3.0 but unfortunately it does not support.
When I plugged in my macbook the power is flowing in dongle due green light blinking twice in every 3 sec but no connection found or diver shown.
Please let me know how I have to use it. I got some suggestion for USB hub 2.0 but It does not make any sense and driver installation.
So please suggest proper direction to use it and provide link to install any driver.

Tauheed AhmadYes Clinton I did same, but they were (Huawei customer support) surprised about this problem, They behave like they have no idea about USB 2.0 and 3.0 knowledge. They handsUp that reason I posted my problem in this forum.
So is there any better solution to use any mediator between these USB version handling, Please let me know.

Empty Trash securely

I'm wondering if someone can help me take a look at the console messages to see if my MacBook Air hard drive is possibly failing.
I had shut down my computer and the shut down process went just fine. A few minutes later when I turned on the computer again, the Apple logo showed up with the spinning disc/sun ray but it never got to the login window.
I hooked up the SuperDrive to repair disk permissions and repair disk. Indeed, it needed disk repairs and permissions to be repaired. It seems to be running fine now.
When I opened the Console, it says something about disk I/O error for some of the log entries.
