Trying to create a slide function..

Hello,
I am trying to create a table of contents that can slide off the left side about 6 inches and will still show my main page beside it. I saw a slide function in one of the DPS videos, but cannot seem to find it. My other option is creating a HTML web content file, and placing that in the indesign file..
Any idea what my easiest route may be?

Thanks Bob, found it. I'm not sure if I should mention this here or start another thread. Please move it if need be. I created the slide out menu. I have made my folio as a pdf. When I slide out the table of contents (which is what my slide out button is) all the text is rasterized and blurry. Do you know why this is? It is all set in Indesign, therefore should be crisp. I used the scrollable frame function to make the slider, and I see I have options in the folio overlay to export format in PDF articles in vector or raster. I tried both of them, and they both are blurry...
Any ideas on how to fix this?

I am trying to create a slide show but QT Pro won't open now

I am trying to create a slide show (Time Lapse Movie) from thousands of photographs and was told to buy QT Pro. After downloading QT 7 and QT Pro yesterday, the program would not operate correctly, although I was able to work with it somewhat. Today it started out Ok but then back to same as yesterday (will not open). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Export the slideshow out of iPhoto as a QT movie file via the Export button in the lower toolbar. Select Size = Medium or Large.
Open iDVD, select a theme and drag the exported QT movie file into the open iDVD window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best quality video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
If iDVD was not preinstalled on your Mac you'll have to obtain it by purchasing a copy of the iLife 09 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com: ilife 09: Software or eBay.com. Why, because iDVD (and iWeb) was discontinued by Apple over a year ago.
Why iLife 09 instead of 11?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides themes from iDVD 5-7. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes when starting from the iLIfe 11 disk nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.
NOTE: If you're running iPhoto 9.5 the export options will be different.

When trying to create a slide program Elements 10 Organizers stops working about half way through the selection. How can I correct this problem?

I tried what you said and was able to import my movie into iDVD although I still had trouble writing the DVD (4 more times) as the titles page viewed with the wrong buttons and the sound was out of synch with the movie.
I tried once again from within iMovie and clicked the 'proceed' button instead of 'render and proceed' and this seemed to work okay.
I then went on to create the DVD which worked fantastic.

Trying to create a Histogram type/object for aggregate functions

Hi,
I am trying to create an aggregate function that will return a histogram
type.
It doesn't have to be an object that is returned, I don't mind returning
a string but I would like to keep the associative array (or something
else indexed by varchar2) as a static variable between iterations.
I started out with the SecondMax example in

But even seems that even a simpler aggregate function like one strCat
below (which works) has problems because I get multiple permutations for
every combination. The natural way to solve this would be to create an
associative array as a static variable as part of the Histogram (see
code below). However, apparently Oracle refuses to accept associate
arrays in this context (PLS-00355 use of pl/sql table not allowed in
this context).
If there is no easy way to do the histogram quickly can we at least get
something like strCat to work in a specific order with a "partition by
... order by clause"? It seems that even with "PARALLEL_ENABLE"
commented out strCat still calls merge for function calls like:

noam.strCat(tzrwy) config,
sum(cnt) cnt, min(minscore) minscore, max(maxscore) maxscore from

Not only does this create duplicate entries in the query result like

always the same so a user can not match the results based on their
order.
The difference between my functions and functions like sum and the
secondMax demonstrated in the documentation is that secondMax does not
care about the order in which it gets its arguments and does not need to
maintain an ordered set in order to return the correct results. A good
example of a built in oracle function that does care about all its
arguments and probably has to maintain a similar data structure to the
one I want is the PERCTILE_DISC function. If you can find the code for
that function (or something like it) and forward a reference to me that
in itself would be very helpful.

GraphicsConfiguration is an abstract class. You would need to subclass it. From the line of code you posted, it seems like you are going about things the wrong way. What are you trying to accomplish? Shouldn't this question be posted in the Swing or AWT forum?

Error while creating a simple function, procedure or triger in Oracle8i Lite

I have Oracle8i Lite release 4.0.
While creating a simple proceudre/function/trigger on the database, it's throwing the following error:

So you have to write your triggers and stored procedures in Java.

I'm trying to create webservice from function module from. I choose Utilities/More Utilities/Create Webservice/..From function Module. What data should I enter in section "Enter Package/Request" ?
When I check "Local object" checkbox I get a message "Test objects cannot be created in foreign namespaces"
Is there any doc about this procedure (web service creation) with description of all sections ?

I was doing the tutorial to create a SAP data widget and the tutorial was using BAPI_FLIGHT_GETLIST to display the data. However, in my system, theres no data in the table SFLIGHT2 and i couldnt populate any data in it.

Hi,
Function Group is just like a folder under which we can store n no. of function modules for organizational purpose. If u want any global declarations we will declare at function Group Level.
It is mandatory to save a function module under one function group. Select Goto menu item, select Function Group, then select, create function group in SE37. Just give the technical name and description and save.

We recently installed GRC Access Control 5.2.At the backend we are using SAP R/3 4.7.The system has been installed and I am currently trying to configure it.I am trying to create a new function.After chosing a function ID and description when I try to insert an action,it comes up blank for my production server and even if I choose the option "All".

For making the functions, risks etc, you need to have some standard procedures being followed and up in place. Uploading transactions,, authorization objects and text are one of these.
Thus before you start actually using/implementing the GRC the system, I would like to advice you to go through the documentation for the same, which suggests the step by step procedure for accomplishing the same.
The problem that you have encountered is a bit easy to track as it suggests the Auth objects and texts might not probably be uploaded. But there might be something you have missed while going the procedural way, which may cause a lot of problems while troubleshooting.
Kindly upload the files in the config tab, under "Upload Objects" and let us know if there is still an issue.

I am trying to create a custom function to change the timezone of a field in the report depending on the timezone selected by the user in the prompt
I wrote a SQL Expression to do this , but i ended up creating a bunch of expressions for each time zone ,
So i am thinking of custom fuction some thing like
TimeZoneConvertor:
Fuction(TimeStampField , Timezone)
Returns: Timestamp field with newtimezone as selected by user

How do I call create a public function to make something happen in another .swf

I am trying to create a public function, i have a decument class with all of my variables in it, I have worked out how to bring in external .swf files, now I need a way to have an even trigger something on a separate .swf
So at the moment I have a flunction that works on the parent

So now how do I make this function public?
When I try to put it into my document class I get errors because the navigator MC is only on the main timeline. (not in the other swf's that I am opening)

Which seemed like a good idea, but it doesn't work..
Can you guys help me out here?

Error while trying to create a Universe on Function Module in IDT

Hi,
We are using BO 4.1 Support Pack 2. I am trying to create a Universe on Function Module. I created data foundation layer, but when I right click on the table and click on 'Show table values' it doesn't bring any data (and there is data available in that table). When I click on 'Check Integrity' it says 'Missing Primary key'. Please see the screen shot. Please let me know if any has any idea and I am doing something wrong? I really appreciate it.

What type of database/application are you trying to connect? Are you getting any error message?
Missing primary key message is just a warning and is not related to the issue.

Have used large format, but using the 'burn' software, I am not getting seamless video quality on DVD even though I am burning at 2* speed. Any ideas? Do I need better software? Or is there a problem with the SuperDrive?
