Trying to create an email address

Today I created 2 email addresses successfully for a BC site. I got the invite email, set the passwords and everything worked just as it should do.
Then I tried to create a third account. Got the invite email, clicked the link, set the password - then nothing.
Here's the initial screen to set the password...

And from there, it won't let me go any further. I've deleted the email address and started again several times. I'm already logged into BC in another tab. And I've tried 3 different browsers.
Can anybody tell me what the problem is? Is it a BC server issue?

Someone from Live Chat support got the email going ok in the end. But they were unsure as to why it wasn't working in the first place.
They escalated the issue to be looked into properly and nobody was able to replicate the issue, so couldn't really solve anything.
Anyway, the email is working fine, so problem solved for now. Probably just a random glitch.

I am trying to change the email address associated with my existing account to free up my university email address for use in obtaining Creative Cloud.

I am trying to change the email address associated with my existing account to free up my university email address for use in obtaining Creative Cloud. Every time I go to the account settings of my existing account (which currently uses my university email, as I set it up years ago and had no idea it'd eventually cause problems), I enter a different email to use for that account but I continuously receive an error message saying "account changes cannot be saved." It makes me think that it's because the email isn't verified (funny, it actually is verified since it has been the alternate email on the old account for years), but when I click the "send verification email" nothing happens (that is, no email is sent to that other email address).
Anyway, my university is now requiring that faculty create new accounts using our university email addresses in order to register/use Creative Cloud. Am I able to delete my old account, or can anyone help me actually change the email address associated with my old account without getting a "changes can't be saved" error?

I am trying to create another email account with talk talk. and I keep getting a failed message saying 'mail could not log into the mail server talk talk. Yet I already have another email account with talk talk. Not sure what I am doing wrong

I've created 3 alternate e-mail addresses and tried creating new accounts.

Welcome to the Apple community.
Once you have created a rescue address, you cannot delete it, nor can you change it to the same address as used by your ID. There are numerous providers you can get additional email addresses from, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Google etc etc.

I am using Oracle 9i and SQL*Plus on Windows XP.
I am trying to set an email address in my object table using an object method.

I have implemented it with the following code but am not sure if it is correct:

er...that'll be because your member function has an OUT parameter, self:
MEMBER FUNCTION setEmail (self IN OUT student_type, em varchar2) RETURN number,(1) You need to reference all parameters in the function, so you need two arguments in your call - but...
(2) we cannot use methods with OUT parameters in SELECT statements, because that's the law.
Do you need to pass SELF into your method? If so you'll have to use PL/SQL to do this instead.
Looking at your code again, I see you are actually using a SELECT statement to alter the data iin the database. This is not allowed at all. SELECT statements are, must be, read only.

What id shows in Settings > iTunes & App Store ? If it's the old one then tap on it and log out of it and then log in with the updated version

I know there have been loads of post regarding iCloud and account issues. I was wondering if it was possible to use my newly created iCLoud email address as my Apple ID and its primary address. I had a hotmail account as my Apple ID before signing up for iCloud. For me it's purely cosmetic and I want to retire that hotmail address.

Each email address can only be on one iTunes account, and all purchases are tied to the account that buys them. If you want to have separate iTunes accounts on each then you will need separate email accounts for each iTunes account

Why did creating an email address in iCloud destroy the calendar?

I have a friend with an iPhone 3gs and a Windows PC. She has an Apple ID and has been using iCloud for everything EXCEPT email. Yesterday, I created an email address in her iCloud account. This morning, she calls and says her Calendar events are gone, and some items are missing from her Contacts. I logged into her iCloud account to check, and sure enough, the Calendar is blank, no events.
What would cause this? More importantly, how can I recover her information? Will doing a restore from a previous backup fix this?
Any ideas appreciated.

She had an Apple ID that was tied to her iTunes account and also to a Mobile Me account (originally) that she had logged into iCloud on her phone, but her email option was turned off in Settings. I just logged into her iCloud account on the web, and when I clicked on the email icon, it prompted me to create an email account, as none existed. It probably has to do with being a carry-over from Mobile Me. So when I created the account, then I turned email on in Settings for her.
I don't see that any of that should have affected her calendar.
