Trying to create an outline from a marquee

Hi, there has to be a way to use the marquee tool in
Fireworks to outline a shape (not just cut a shape out of a
bitmap), apply a fill and move on. Am I using the right tool for
this?

Make your marquee selection, then > Select > Convert
Marquee to Path > Fill
with a color of choice.

How do I create an outline from a .JPG image?

I have Illustrator CS6 for Windows 7.
I'm trying to create an outline for the image. It's just a single .jpg image.

You mean something like this?
Make two circles with the same top origin. Select both and rotate/copy them 120° to the left and right. Select them all, use the Pathfinder panel to combine them. Delete the the center triangle. Ungroup them. Add the small center circle and the other shape and make it a compound path (should knockout the center). Give it a stroke. Make the back two circles and make a compound path and send to back.

In iPhoto 11 trying to create a book from an album.

Trying to create a book from album in iPhoto 11. The photos in the album were manually sorted to be in the order I want. When I select the album as the source for the book the pictures are re-aranged and placed in a different order. How do I use the album as the source for the book and keep the pictures in the order I placed the album in?

I found an solution in and other discussion (inspired on the answer of tigerjoker):
Stay in the album with all the Photos selected. Select Photos, Batch Change and select Date in the drop down menu. Input what ever date you want. Tick the box "Add 1 minute between each photo". Click ok
Create your book and all the photos should be in the order you selected.

I had the problem of arranging photos in the album, but when you transfer to a book, it automatically rearranges the photos by date. As you say, this is a glitch in '11 as it wasn't a problem in earlier version. I found a solution. Go to the album and Select All photos. Select Photos, Batch Change and select Title and Text in the drop down menus. Type a name in the box, like Birthday Party, then tick the box Append a Number To Each Photo. Click OK.

Only one Bookmarks Toolbar is allowed. You can create Folders on the bookmarks toolbar (named "Sports", "News", etc.) and add or move your bookmarks to those folders.

Build error when trying to creat the project from inactive DC..

Hi Harish,
Are you able to see the code and the components in the Webdynpro perspective. You can try the different options like Reload, Repair and Refresh.
See in the log why the build is failing.

Created an XML

Step 5. Reverse engineered 2 tables from oraclexe (HR ) Schema
Employees
Departments
Step 6. Created an interface and made DEPART from step 4 as target
and Departments from step 5 as source.
Step 7. Staging area is different to the target.
step 8. modified the IKM SQL Control Append to write to a file
create xmlfile #filename from schema DEPART
Step 9. Changed the DEPART PK Column in the TARGET to 0
Step 10. File is created.
Problem:
1. When i view the file it has all the departments but the employees are also displayed eventhough i haven't done the mapping.
2. All the employees are listed under every department.
Please help as i have tried everything. I know i am missing something somewhere.

While setting up XML data server the ro option i have deleted as defalut value is false which allows both read/write & its look like this

But in the generated file is same as which have EMPDEPT.xml with data change,but in the target xml data store depart i am able to view newly inserted records.
i want generate an output xml for each of the target of the XML data store, how we can do that please explain me.

Issue while trying to create Sales Order from Inbound Idoc ORDER05

Hi All,
I am trying to create a sales order through an Inbound idoc ORDERS05 created out of a Purchase order. The header pricing conditions from the Purchase orders gets populated in E1EDK05 segment and this needs to go to the Sales order header conditions while trying to create the Sales order.
But when the fields are getting incorrectly mapped to the Sales order. Issue being, the segment E1EDK05-BETRG contains the condition value. But this fields gets populated to the KOMV-KWERT (condition value) screen field on the Sales order header conditions. But this should have got mapped to field KOMV-KBETR (Rate). If I look at the Purchase order, E1EDK05-BETRG is the field getting fetched from field KOMV-KBETR on the Purchase order. So this should have correspondingly got mapped to KOMV-KBETR on the Sales order as well.
This looks like a standard behavior. But if any of you have encountered this issue before please let me know if any Correction instructions are available for the same. If this some issue in Pricing conditions configuration, do let me know.

You can set a break-point include "FV45PFAP_VBAP_BEARBEITEN_VORBE" that is called by both the SAP Standard and BAPI where the data is prepared and checked in the internal table XVBAP. Compare both SAP standard VA01 and your 'Z' program for what may be different in XVBAP.
I think the problem my be with regards to the business_object number that is hardcoded in the standard function module. It has given me issues before and hence I tend to use the function module SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE to create sales documents with.

I have been trying to create a movie from a project that is primarily stills and one video clip. I cannot successfully create the movie without iMovie shutting down unexpectedly. Any ideas for the cause of the problem?

I am getting an unexpected shut down of iMovie when I try to share a movie from a project that is made up of still pictures, one video clip and music. Have tried to create the movie several times with different formats and continue to get the message. When I removed all music I was able to create the movie without a problem but when I added the music back, I was unable to create the movie. I'm using iMoive 11' version 9.0.9

I'm no expert in iMovie, but I've found that processing memory (as well as sheer hard disk space for the project to 'turn around in') can be a big issue with constructing, editing, and distilling projects in iMovie. I've improved the success by moving 2gb of image files off to an external drive, but only really got moving again on an hour-long project by doubling RAM and again freeing up h/d space.
Some tunes are also an issue, but if you can see it in the iTunes list to place in your project, it should work okay... Does the project run with any other piece of music, or does just that one tune mess it up?

This is a bit wierd. I am surprized that Oracle guys haven't done anything about this . This is like DB2 !

Log on to https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf using your Adobe ID/email address and password.
Click Select Files to Convert to PDF.
Navigate to the scanned document, and select it.
Click Choose. Your file will be converted, and then saved to your online account at http://cloud.acrobat.com/files.
Note that you can't scan directly to PDF using Adobe PDF Pack--you need to save the file from your scanner first.

Photoshop CC 2014 crashes when trying to create a panorama from Lightroom?

Hi,
I have both Photoshop and Lightroom CC installed.
When I pass 6 photos from Lightroom to Photoshop CC to create a panorma, Photoshop goes through the throws, imports the images, generates the panorama then crashes, with a message from Windows saying it is checking for a solution to the problem, then dies.
I have reviewed the posts, and found one that suggest to increase the cache level to 6... tried this and it still dies.
Found another workaround to have Photoshop x64 running and pass the images to it rather than have Lr fire up Ps CC. This worked and produced the panorama.
I am not sure why, but with the use of the CC app, I know have three Ps's on my my machine, x32, x64 and CC..., not even sure what the difference between x64 and CC... ???...
So my question is...
Is there are a problem with PS CC?... there certainly was with the focus stacking algorithms.. or is it just me.?.. ;(

Try a preference reset: Press Cmd+Opt+Shift (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Win) immediately after initiating Photoshop startup. Select "yes" when prompted.

NWDS errors when trying to create a webservice from a WSDL

Trying to generate the skeleton classes for a web service bean based on an imported handcrafted WSDL. The WSDL has 2 imported schemas (XSD files). When I imported the WSDL into NWDS it created a schema package for the XSD's files and brings in the XSDs with no problems. When I try to generate the skeleton classes I get the folowing error: "IWAB0014E Unexpected exception occurred. The definition of element acctNotesRequest is missing from the Schema ! java.lang.RuntimeException: The definition of element acctNotesRequest is missing from the Schema !"
The acctNotesRequest is the first included XSD schema files I have as an include to the WSDL. Is there a configuration option I am not aware of in NWDS or is this a bug? I have been able to generate the skeleton java classes from a handcrafted WSDL that does not have schema files as includes.

Trying to create a pdf from an HP G85 scanner and the G85 is not showing up as a device for Adobe

I have windows 7 (new) and adobe 8 professional. I was trying to scan from my HP G85 all in device and adobe was not recognizing any devices to scan from. Can someone please offer advice.

The G85 works for me in Windows 7. I have Windows 7 Home Premium (new about a week ago) and Acrobat 8 Standard. I can see my G85 AIO from Windows (Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers). If you’re still having trouble connecting to it, I suggest the Microsoft Compatibility page for the G85:

Once you’re connected, the settings I use to get reasonable scanning speed are Native and Show Scanner’s Native Interface. That’s in the Scanner Options dialog (get there from Create PDF > From Scanner > Scanner Options). The only interface I have available is WIA (in the scanner pull-down to the left of the Scanner Options button). The resulting scanning behavior is about 4 stutters as it scans a page – that is, the scan bar moves a few inches, backs up about 1/2 inch, then goes another few inches, etc. That’s about what I saw in XP, so it looks nearly the same to me.

P.S. if HP tech staff are watching: Acrobat has a lot of trouble driving the scanner if the settings are instead Native/Hide. The behavior then is the scan bar goes about an inch, backs up 7/8 inch, goes another inch, etc. That’s so painful to watch I’ve never let it continue to see if really would make it all the way down the page.
