Trying to create guest network on wap321 and sg200-50p using VLAN

I have a SG200-50P and a WAP321. I am trying to create a guest wireless network using a separate VLAN on the WAP321. I have the production traffic on VLAN 1 and the guest network is on VLAN 100.
The WAP321 is plugged in to port 7 on the switch. It is configured as follows:
Trunk Port, 1UP, 100T, Ingress filter enabled
The DHCP server is on port 22 and is configured as follows:
Trunk Port, 1UP, 100T, Ingress filter enabled
The production wireless client is able to work fine on VLAN 1.
When I try to connect a device using the Guest network, the DHCP request does not appear to ever make it to the DHCP server. If I separate the Production network off of VLAN 1 and change the Untagged VLAN ID to a different VLAN than 1 (Management VLAN ID), the same thing happens to the client when it tries to get an IP address from DHCP.
What am I missing here?

I have the VLANs configured on the WAP321. VLAN 1 is the Mgmt and general VLAN and the VLAN is configured for the Guest network. I did a Wireshark trace and for some reason the pakets for VLAN 100 (Guest network) on the WAP321 are not getting to the DHCP server. I see them on the WAP321 using the packet capture, but there is not any response to them. I do not see them coming in at the DHCP server.
When I connect to the WAP321 using the production SSID I see the same ackets at the AP and also coming in to the DHCP server. That is why I am so confused. I can't figure out why they do not get to the server. I was wondering if I have something configured wrong on the SG200, but this is new territory for me and I do not know what I am missing. I have taken some screen shots of the SG and WAP config screens in case it might help.

The Guest Network feature will not function correctly if the AirPort Exteme is configured in Bridge Mode.
But unfortunately, Bridge Mode is the correct setting if you have the AirPort Extreme connected to a modem/router or gateway type of device.
So, is the AirPort Extreme configured in Bridge Mode as illustrated above?
Can you provide the make and model number of the device that you might call your "modem"?

PS creating Operative Network from standard and need to copy user fields

has anyone tried to create Opertive Network(cn21) with reference to a Standard network. what we need to do is from the first line line item copy 3 user defined fields from the User Fields tab on the Standard Network to the header of the Opertaive Network and then on the additional fields tab put those 3 values.
I have look at the User Exits and i am now looking into the BOR.

It's not that you can't format it because you have no backup, it's because you'll lose everything when you do. Lesson learned. Always have a backup.

Type is one part of Org creation....
Optionally, select an organization type in the Type field.
Organization types do not classify your organization, you use them for reporting purposes only. The type may identify the function an organization performs, such as Administration or Service, or the level of each organization in your enterprise, such as Division, Department or Cost Center. You create the organization types you require by entering values for the Lookup Type ORG_TYPE.

I am going to have over 50 buttons in a page, Why? This would be a most unusual UI paradigm. I've never seen such a page, which suggests that whatever you want to do is normally done another way. Please explain the requirement in more detail.

Java is not used in programming APEX UI behaviour. Java and JavaScript may share initial syllables, but they are not closely related.
It's possible to achieve a great deal in JavaScript, but a clear definition of the requirements is necessary. Do you mean the buttons should be dynamically generated? If so, yes, this is possible in JavaScript. What would drive the process?
Also, i would like to have dynamic action on it, for example, when the button is pressed, fill a string of text into other items(text field) within the page. Without more detail its not possible to make any specific suggestions. For example, I certainly would not want to create 50+ individual dynamic actions relating to different buttons.

When you create a request with only dimension columns, the Oracle BI engine has to choose a fact table to join the dimensions to each other. If you have multiple fact tables in your BMM layer, the Oracle BI engine will use the most economical fact table, depending on the number of dimensions of the fact table.
In some cases you do not want to use this fact table, but you want to force the Oracle BI engine to use the fact table you want.
In that case you should create a fact (or select an existing fact) of the fact table you want to use for the dimension only query. In the presentation catalog of the subject area you should select this fact as the implicit fact. This fact will always be used in the query, but it won't be visible in your report. An example of an implicit fact is the count of the primary key (id) of the fact table.

Create Guest Network on Time Capsule

How to I create / establish a Guest Network on my Time Capsule for guests to get internet access only? (I.e., I want guests to be able to log on wirelessly, but I don't want them to be able to access files on my Time Capsule hard drive.)
I have read some forums and the manual, and I do not see the Guest tab in the AirPort Utilities set-up menu. There was one post about no Guest Network being possible in Bridge Mode, but I don't know what this means or how to change it if I do happen to be in Bridge Mode.
Basically, I would like to start from scratch and establish a new Guest Network ... Any help?

This information indicates that your Time Capsule is in Bridge Mode because AirPort Utility detected that you may have another router or gateway ahead of the Time Capsule on your network.
This would be a device that is a combination modem and router, usually with 3-4 ethernet ports on the back although some devices have only one port.
I would recommend that you leave the Time Capsule set where it is if everything else seems to be working correctly on your network. Unfortunately, the Guest Network is not available when the Time Capsule is configured in Bridge Mode.
If you want to try another setting *+that may or may not work.+*..
Open AirPort Utility and click Manual Setup
Click the Internet icon
Change the setting for Connection Sharing to "Share a public IP address"
Update to save changes. AirPort Utility may or may not let you do this. If it does, you'll need to click "ignore" when you see the error messages about a Double NAT on your network.
Double NAT means that you will have two devices both trying to act as routers on your network, which can cause conflicts and improper network operation. I'm not recommending that you do this, but some users can get away with it.
No guarantees here. Up to you.

Guest network with WAP321

Hello everyone.
My client has a WAP321 Wireless N POE AP. It is connected to port g0/2 on an ESW-520-24 cisco switch. I have a Cisco 5505 firewall with an unlimited user base license. Is it possible to setup a guest network that is on a different subnet than my internal LAN. If so can someone please direct me to doing so.

I believe what you are describing is possible, although it will mostly come down to configuration on the ASA. I know you mentioned you have an unlimited users license, but do you also have trunking in your license? By default the 5505 only allows three VLANs, and they are used in a way that there isn't an extra one for you to use unless you have the Security Plus license (which raises your VLAN limit to 20).
You may be able to get around this by configuring the ESW to run in Layer 3 mode, and have it do all of the routing between the two VLANs, however there would still be quite a bit of config to be done on the ASA to get it to NAT and route for the VLANs behind it.
I can't really offer too much assistance on the ASA, since it isn't a Small Business device, so you may need to speak to TAC about setting that up. However we can help setup the ESW to handle multiple VLANs, but I would check on your ASA before we move forward with that.
As for the AP, it is capable of multiple SSIDs on different VLANs, and on the ESW you would configure a trunk port going to the AP to pass both VLANs to it, but again I'd advise against doing any of that until you find out how/if your ASA will be able to handle multiple VLANs.

Help creating guest network

I have a new Airport Extreme 802.11n running firmware version 7.4.1 and Airport Utility 5.4.1. I bought this from the Apple store at apple.com in mid-March 2009.
I would like to set up a guest network but can not find where to do it... I have reset the unit to factory and reconfigured, but I never see an option to create a guest network. Anyone have any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

Hi Art,
I ran into the same problem awhile ago. It's really confusing when there are no clues whatsoever as to what the problem is. Well, here's what I have discovered:
For the AEBS (dual band) to be able to set up a guest network, it needs to be the DHCP server for the network. (It needs to be in control of creating IP ranges, subnets and the assigning of IP numbers for the other nodes on the network.)
In other words: If you have your network set up in such a way that the AEBS is connected to the Internet through a modem/router that happens to dish out the DHCP addresses for your LAN, you are in effect using the AEBS in bridge mode. As the AEBS cannot create a guest network when in bridge mode, the options to do so remain hidden in the Airport Utility.
The solution is to put your modem/router in bridge mode and make the AEBS the DHCP/NAT server for your network instead. How to do that is completely different story, though.

On Airport Utility 5.6.1 Trying to recover Guest Network Tab

Using a Time Capsule as an Airport. I lost my Guest Network Tab. In Internet settings my Connection Sharing field is on Bridge Mode. Changing it to 'Share a Public IP Adress' brings back my guest tab. Very Nice! When trying to update however I get an error saying Router Address not compatible with WAN IP Address. Ideas? Thank You.
