Trying to delete my credit card info but cannot!
I am going NUTS trying to delete my credit card info! I cannot stand it when I try updating one of my apps (especially when they're FREE apps) & am NOT ALLOWED to do so if I have a ZERO balance on my card! I have followed directions given to me but it still does NOT work. HELP!!
Once you set up your Apple ID you must have a valid form of payment. If you want to delete your credit card info purchase a low cost iTunes gift card and use that as your form of payment. Then you can delete your credit card.

If it's a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? I think this issue has already been resolved in other discussions, please review Apple Discussions more carefully before you start a new discussion. This makes it easier for people to find the "resolved" discussions when searching for the anwers, like you are.
But I'll still give you some info.
I would suggest that you sign into your iTunes Store account using a computer as mobile devices can sometimes not update the info on your iTunes Store account(all based on connection and some security features on your account). Once you sign in, click the arrow next to your email address in the upper right corner of the screen and then click "Account". In the Apple ID summary, you can click edit in the payment section and then you need to click "None" that appears. Try these steps:

(If you are not already signed in, you will need to enter your iTunes Store account name and password and then click the Account Info button to sign in.)
The Apple Account Information page will appear. On this page, click the Edit Payment Information button, which is the second button from the top.
On the Edit Payment Information page, select "None" from the list of credit card types. This will delete your billing information.
Be sure to click the Done button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Please note: you cant remove your credit card if have an outstanding balance without providing a new credit card or iTunes Store Gift Card(needs to process all payments before you can remove a credit card). Also, any active allowances or subscrtiptions(i think) will not allow the credit card to be removed.
Some people are not given the option to remove their credit card. This indicates a billing issue with your account. Email iTunes Store Support for assitance, but I would make sure you havn't used the iTunes Store account for a while(week) and then try again.
All Apple ID info is private, so only the accoutn owner can edit the information. I suggest that you keep trying and trying after restarting your computer and many sign in and sign outs before you give up.

I don't think that the "none" option is available in every country. Where are you located?
If you can't remove the credit card by any other means, you might want to contact iTunes support. You can choose your country in the bottom right corner.

It sounds like you wanted to purchase this app from the App Store, and you created an Apple ID, entered your credit card info, but have not yet been able to verify your Apple ID email address.
This article shows how to resend the verification email to that email address:
How to verify the primary email address for your Apple ID
When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email will be sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address will be verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
2. Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
3. Verify your changes by following the link in the email you will receive from Apple and signing back in to your account.

Help! I can't delete the credit card info from my IOS 7 Iphone 4! It doesn't say "none" anywhere! I also don't have a computer so I can't delete it from that and I don't have the money to buy a gift card. Help please!
the removal of a credit card of your itunes account is a simple matter of clicking on the 'none' option once you are inside your account settings of your itunes account.
However, if there is an outstanding issue with you itunes account such as an outstanding balance the credit card then will NOT be removed from your account untill all issues have been resolved.
If you ware unsure of what the issues may be you can then call 800MYAPPLE and ask to speak to an advisor that can help you with itunes account issues. Most any of the advisors answering the phone should be able to assist you.
