Trying to deploy axisproviderlib.sda

When I try to deploy axisproviderlib.sda, i get an unresolved dependency on com.sap.base.technology.facade and engine.j2ee14.facade. Where can i find them? I have had no luck.

I repackaged it with another software and it started working.

Error while deploying BIKit.sda on Portal

Hello Masters,
When I select the system for BW from VC Data tab, I get the following error:
Error -21007:Search for table returned an error. Service not found:
com.sap.portal.guimachine.BIKit.CommandHandler.
However I am using VC 6.0 with Patch level 6.0 and EP 6.0 with SP14. So I tried to deploy the following sda files on the portal server:
BIUDISystems.sda
com.sap.visualcomposer.BIKit.sda
com.sap.visualcomposer.BIKitQV.ear
But I am not been able to deploy the last .ear file, the error message I am getting is as follows:

you need to set up FQDN fully qualified domain name.
instead of http://duetserver:8006/....you need to use
http://duetserver.domain.com:8006/...
check
1. whether WAS settings in system definition in portal is with FQDN
2. check whether ABAP system FQDN is done. (its in the profile parameter icm/host_name_full (you can run abap report RSPARAM and check this.)

Problems in GP Transport - Deployment of SDA

Hi,
I am facing problems when I am deploying the SDA file which I have created for GP. The first time I deployed the SDA file, it was showing me the objects inside a folder and I was able to release them. But on subsequent deployment, I was just getting the folder name in the Design time, and nothing inside that. I mean the folder was empty. I tried deploying the SDA file after deleting the folder from Design Time and Undeploying the previously deployed SDA file. But nothing works as I am getting an empty folder always.

When a same SDA file is going to be deployed in GP, make sure the folders are removed from the Deleted Items folder as well.

NW7.3] Problem while trying to deploy an EAR using ant task

I'm trying to deploy a EAR file to my Netweaver instance using ANT but I'm facing the following problem.
I've downloaded all the files from j2ee/deployment and j2ee/j2eeclient as SAP's documentation states, the classpath is correctly set, however I get this error:
BUILD FAILED!
build.xml:16: taskdef class com.sap.engine.services.dc.ant.convert.SAPImportEAR cannot be found
I've taken a look at tcjedc_ant.jar, which I downloaded from my instance, and it appears that SAPImportEAR is missing.
By opening the file I can see com.sap.engine.services.dc.ant.deploy, com.sap.engine.services.dc.ant.undeploy and com.sap.engine.services.dc.ant.params, but the whole package com.sap.engine.services.dc.ant.convert is missing.
Is it suposed to be anywhere else? All the articles/posts I found state that it should be on tcjedc_ant.jar.

I guess this example_build.xml is outdated (belongs to NW 7.1).
To build an SDA, look at make_SDA.csh.
Class is com.sap.engine.lib.deploy.sda.SDAProducer.
To buid an EAR, you do not need SAPImportEAR at all, just <taskdef "sapdeploy"...

Can someone tell me how to deploy webdynpro.sda file? I installed SAP J2EE Engine 6.4 Stack 18. In order to use WebDynpro there is note that webdynpro.sda should be deployed so can someone indicate how to do that? Thanks in advance.

      1. How can you check is j2ee-engine running? is there any port (e.g.
          http://localhost:50000) where I can check it?
      2. From Start -> All Programs -> SAP J2EE Engine -P28 -> I've got only three
            Options:
                a. Config Tool
                b. Deploy Tool
                c. Visual Administration
          There is no any (e.g. Start J2EE Engine, Stop J2EE Engine) which is typically.
          To run engine, at least I thing that I do like that, I had to go to services and to
          Manually start SAPP28_00.
   Regarding your suggestion to search for remoteGui, I have found sdm_remotegui.bat, which resides under C:\usr\sap\P28\Shortcuts dir, but when I run
that bat file error arises because it tries to run remotegui.bat that doesn't exist.

Error while trying to deploy BIDS Cube

I have created a Cube, and when I'm trying to deploy it I'm getting errors. First error it's on Calculations Tab on a Cube under Metadata: "Error loading metadata connection is not open"
There's also another error: "Unable to query 'AdventureWorksDW_Cube' cube: A connection cannot be made to redirector. Ensure SQL-Browser is running.
Then another error is when I'm trying to deploy: same as above, A connection cannot be made to redirector. Ensure SQL-Browser is running
It is connection errors and I don't know what to do because my SQL-Browser is running. please help.

I would suggest you try to restart SQL Server Browser serice to see if this help.
In addition, please also help to collect the following information to us for further investigaion:
Is it a SSAS named instance or default instance? Have you try to specify "IP address\instance name" for the "Server" property?
What's is the impersonation accounts information of the SSAS project?

UndeclaredThrowableException while trying to deploy EJB in WLS 6.1

I get the following excption while trying to deploy a Entity Bean
through the WLS 6.1 console:-
<Error deploying application
.\config\mydomain\applications\EnrollmentTransaction.jar:
java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException
Can anyone throw some light on this one.

PS:- This JAR was compile using the WLS 5.1 EJBC

You'll have to show me the full error message, but you'll need to
re-compile with the weblogic.ejbc in 6.1

I am facing one problem. any one who are aware of this project please help me.
My problem is:
i have Mac OS of 10.5.8 and xcode of 3.1.4
while i am trying to implement a application of audio files i want the frame work called "AVFoundation.Framework" i didn't found that frame work in my library.
so i added that framework from "MACOS10.4" .
but in simulator 3.1 it works fine. while trying to deploy in my iphone i am getting error like:
"-(avTouchcontroller updatecurrenttime)", referenced from:
_OBJC_IVAR_$_ avTouchcontroller._ivlmeter_in in avTouchController.o

Error while trying to deploy a cube

I am getting an error message while trying to deploy a cube. OWB Client version is 10.2.0.1.31 and the repository version is 10.2.0.1.0
Below is the piece of code that generates the error:

Is the dependent dimension deployed to the catalog? Generally the no data found error indicates some dependent object is missing; either an implementing table or a dependent dimension.

Hi dominikg,
At first, You can try to restart the device-manager from system tray.
If it doesn't help, then try the following:
- stop the device manager
- Remove c:\Docement and Settings\<your User>\javame-sdk folder.
- Ran the device manager from <SDK>/bin directory
- try to debug again.
Did you tried to change port 51307 to another.
Early access build had some problems with device manager, I hope that final release will be better :)

Trying to deploy IE10 via WSUS... doesn't seem to work

I am trying to deploy IE 10 to my windows 7 machines using WSUS. I have imported the update from the catalog and approved it for install in my workstations group.
I still have a hybrid environment of XP and Windows 7 - but of the 112 Windows 7 machines we've got, my goal is to get all of them to IE 10. My WSUS says I'm at 96% installed / not applicable, but that number doesn't accurately represent what I am
seeing.
In addition, I sat at a couple of my Windows 7 w/ IE 8 or 9 on it, and tried to force check and install (wuauclt /detectnow) and it never seems to find the IE 10 install.
I am quite certain that I am doing something wrong as I am nowhere near a WSUS expert, so I need help
