But when I open the download assistent i get a window saying: "This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
I have disconnected firewalls and cookies as you require.

It sounds like their is either an issue with your web browser or the version of Java you have installed. Try a different web browser, possibly even a browser you haven't utilized previously, and see if you have the same difficulties.

Try using a different browser. Some browsers don't deal well with some of the Adobe download links.

Okay - just realised that the last screen was just asking for a "title" for my question!
I have Adobe Acrobat XI standard, but would like to trial the "compare documents" feature on Pro. I tried to download a trial version of Pro, but the installer indicated that "it detected a more fully featured version of the product" - presumably my standard version? - and stopped installation. It is not clear to me what my options are for either upgrading to Pro, or selectively purchasing the "compare documents" plugin (if possible). I am using what is presumably an Enterprise version of acrobat (i.e. my employer owns it, not me) - so not sure what limitations that results in. I think this is a simple question, but would be grateful for advice.- You can't install Acrobat Pro alongside Acrobat Standard. You will need to remove Standard to be able to install Pro.
- You (probably) can't upgrade your license if it's a part of an enterprise license. The entire license will need to be upgraded.
- It's not possible to install just the "Compare Documents" function as a sort of add-on to Acrobat Standard. -
I'm trying to download the trial version of Adobe Illustrator. An error message says that the OS does not meet the minimum system requirements for the installer. 10.6.0 is the minimum required for installation. How do I get my mac to be a 10.6.0 ? Right now I have a 10.5.8 is there a way to upgrade or something?
Buy the Snow Leopard retail installer (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A?fnode=MTY1NDAzOA).
That will take you to 10.6.3.
If required you can then use the combo updater to get to the latest version, 10.6.8 (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399)

How Do I Download a Trial Version of Premiere?
Creative Cloud is annoying me. All the adobe.com things are pointing me to it to download a trial of premiere but premiere is not on the cloud. Probably because the cloud sucks. The whole system is very annoying!!!! I JUST WANT TO DOWNLOAD A TRIAL VERSION OF PREMIERE!!

You must be running a 64 bit computer and 64 bit operating system in order to download and install Premiere Pro. -
I am trying to download the trial version and I get to the Adobe Assistant Download complete, but then NO file allows for download. I have turned off all blocks, looked in Explorer, I have spent about 3 hours doing this... HELP
I personally try to avoid that "download assistant" whenever possible...
