Trying to download an app and it keeps saying incorrect password after I changed it

Hi all
I'm trying to download an app. Forgot my password, so reset it. When I go back in to apps and put the new password in it still won't let me download. Keeps saying incorrect password
I've powered down. Not sure what else to do

HT1577 I am trying to download some games and it keeps saying waiting what do I need to do. T

I am new to apple and I am trying to download some games and movies. The movies I can not find them and the games just keep saying waiting. I feel like this thing is not working right. If someone could let me know what I am doing wrong or what I need to do.

What do i do when i am trying to connect my ipod to a known network and it keeps saying incorrect password when i clearly put it in correctly?

I insert the correct password directly from my router and it says incorrect password, i type it accurately and slowly to ensure i have it right. My family members put the code in and it works on their mac. I look at the info of the network and all of it is blank ? HELP??

Worked on my iPhone. Tried many methods which in support communities here. All failed (replaced hosts file, disable antivirus/firewall, on/off wifi, sign in/out itunes)
Finally there is a funny "unclick" let me successfully settled this issue. Make sure the option of "Automatically sync when this iphone is connected" is unclicked, at the time when iphone is connected to iTunes. It is the setting at iTunes iPhone Summary page. Hope this can help you so.

HT1766 hi, just got a replacement phone, tried to restore a back up, but keeps asking for my password, i type it in, and it keeps saying incorrect password...please help

its a 4s, backed up on the 5/sept at 10.49pm, trying to restore on 7/sept and it saus password incorrect.
have tried 1234, 0000, and my only itunes password, and the lock phone password i had when i restored it.
resarted my computer, turned device on and off....still cant do it..
i'm annoyed now!

Because when you first saved an encrypted backup that is the password you used. The backup password does not "track" your password changes; it stays with what you started with unless you change it.

Reports are that this is a problem with the iTunes Store that they're working on. Some people have had success after signing out of their account and back in. If that doesn't work for you, wait a few hours or perhaps until tomorrow and by then they may have the problem sorted out.

I would say to start by looking on their web site... unfortunately, that appears to be dead.
Based on the horrible ratings on the App Store (1 star for the current version), I'm not surprised it doesn't work well.

See a a version compable with your iPod is available:
Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.
Also, if you have iOS 6.1.6 yo have a 4G (has cameras). A 3G does not have cameras and can only go to 5.1.1
