Trying to download an app I already have...
For some reason my Mac is trying to download Grand Theft Auto even though it's already on my Mac and working fine.
I've had it paused for a few weeks now as I can't find anyway of cancelling the download. On the purchases tab on the App Store, the download falls under the 'other purchases' title, unlike the other purchases (not sure if this is relevant) which I can just remove... any ideas?

I keep getting a message that my ID has been disabled when trying to download an app. I have changed password with apple. Any ideas what is wrong?
If you've changed your password and it still shows disabled then try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it

Is it possible to share apps from my iPad onto my new iPhone 4. I have tried several suggestions from the net but still get charged when I download an app to my phone that is already on my iPad. Many thanks, alex

You should be able to download the exact same app from the iTunes store to a different device at no extra cost. Its possible you might be downloading an iPad only version of an app you happen to have on your iPhone although I'm not familiar with an example of this.
If you are being charged:
1. Make sure you are using the same iTunes Store account (AppleID) on both devices. Your purchases are tied to the AppleID so if you don't use the same one to download the app that you used to buy it the first time, you'll be charged.
On the device you originally bought the app in question: Go to Settings > Store -- note the AppleID here
On the device you re-downloaded and were charged on: Go to Settings > Store -- note the AppleID here
If these AppleIDs are different then you have your answer. You are making purchases with two different accounts so logically you've been charged twice. Decide which AppleID you wish to use from now on and on the device which does not currently have that ID and tap on it in the Store section of the settings and login with the other AppleID.
If these AppleIDs are the same then something is going wrong in the process. Contact iTunes Store support email to have them take a peek: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/

My computer had crashed. I tried most everything and had to resort to re installing my os x tiger discs. When my computer crashed, I was running snow leopard. I do not have the disc for it. Anyhow, I am now trying to download things and it is saying I already have them in my system which is leading me to believe that all of my stuff is still on the computer. So my question is, if it is.. how do I retrieve it? And is there a way for me to get my snow leopard back without having the disc? I am trying to avoid going to an apple store because I cannot afford it. I really hope someone has some answers on this for me. Thank you for your time!

I've tried to download an app that I used to have but deleted. I get the message "You've already purchased this, so it will be downloaded now at no additional charge." BUT it won't download.
Are you certain you have enough memory left on your device to accommodate the app? Also, are you certain that an iOS 8-compatible version has been released by the developer? If the answer to both questions is "yes", then try downloading it via an iTunes sync.

I can't even download an app that I have already purchased without it showing me that I need to log into my account and them showing me where I need to reneged my credit card information.

App Store not letting me download free games or even let me update apps I already have!
Ok, so I tried purchasing a item in a game I have (not knowing how much I have in my bank account). App Store denied it so I'm like ok whatever I don't care. Well now whenever I try to download free apps or eve. Update apps I already have the store makes me sign in, and wants me to update my billing information because there was an error with my last purchase because it didn't go through. Ok why is it doing this? It didn't go through I don't care I just wanna update my apps and be able to download free Apps without having to update my information then apple charging for something I don't want anymore.... Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I already tried removing the card! I don't have a "none" option when I try to remove it so... Yeah
You must have a valid form of payment on your account even for updates and free apps.

im having troubles trying to download desktop apps, the blue wheel still spinning in the app tab, i've already try the solutions i've read here, uninstall CC and installed it again, uninstall it, download it again and install ir, and nothing works, I'm worried because i have a course of some software tomorrow (oct 10). I have been trying to download Adobe Air for a website I'm trying to access (Colonial Williamsburg). After the installation was finished, I went back to the website and it still said I didn't have Adobe Air. I tried reinstalling and Adobe said I already have it on my system (Mac OSX 10.9). I have bought a new macbook pro retina 13. I am not too familiar with Mac yet. I had an apple account with my iphone 4 which I stopped using a month ago. You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs. -
I bought my son a 1st generation Ipod touch off of Ebay. We set it back to factory settings and downloaded the newest version of itunes. Whenever he tries to download any apps it says "can not connect to itunes" I have checked the wifi connection and that is working (he can get on safari) and we have the newest version of windows. He was so excited to finally get his first Ipod and now cant do anything with it...please help

First, try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

I tried to download the " app of the day " and was told that I was in the US store and that I needed to go to the Canada store. I never encountered this before .
