Trying to download Designer from Oracle Corp
I have (in Vain) been trying to download designer release 6 with
frustration. I left it overnight three times and come back in
morning only to find it has hung on "two seconds"!!!.
I need to get hold of designer and this is a great hinderance -
is it something to do with my machine, the dowloading utility or
what!!!???
Please can someone helpo me
I think it can be the problem that you do not have enough free
space in c drive or your internet connection is too slow.
Just week before I got same problem.

Ipad 1st gen. Safari cannot open page because address is invalid. I get this trying to download apps from itunes, infact it will do this under any variable. I have tried copy paste in url but it doesn't matter what i try, safari doesnt allow anyway i try. I have searched answers to this but to no avail.

Yes, I have not made myself clear, I apologise.
I have tried downloading apps from itunes in order to set up a game for my son, when I go to click on a link, be this in itunes, or on the web, Safari revolts back informing the address is invalid. I read by coping a link and pasting into the URL, this would do it, but not so.
My goal then, is to install Minecraft for my son, I would then download an app to allow this but I am unable to get this far due to Safari insulting the address I ask it to go to
The iPad is first generation
OS 5.1.1 Software up to date.

When Trying to download applications from the itunes store, I receive a message that my Apple Id has been disabled. I reset my password, accessed my Itunes Account successfully, but when trying to download, the same message appears.

You can't use Safari to download iPad apps. Only use iTunes/App Store.

I have bought complete albums in the past... Now that I am trying to download them from the cloud, some songs no longer appear in My Purchases... How can/do I retrieve them?
Do those tracks still show on the album in the store ? If not then the rights-holder must have removed them, in which case you won't be able to redownload them, you will have to copy them back from your backup of your downloads/library. lately I have been having some issues when trying to download pictures from my iphone to my iphoto library. Whenever I try to do so this message pops up "The following file could not be imported. The file is in an unrecognized format." Would anyone happen to know why this is happening? I was always able to transfer my pictures from my phone to my laptop before, so I don't know why this is happening now.

if you look at the error message - is the filename mentioned? What kind of file is it? A JPEG? A video?

horton05It is not possible to install OS X 10.7.2 on a Mac with a G5 processor.
In order for 10.7.2 to be installed you must have an Intel processor and not a PowerPC which G5 is. Please straighten out your information.
Also the version of iPhoto you are attempt to run would be helpful.

Iam trying to download data from a group in my address book into Numbers. When I click on the data to move and drag to Numbers nothing happens. Using OS X ver 10.9.2 iMac
With Numbers 3.2 (released April 2014) drag and drop works on my machine again, either onto the canvas or into an existing table.
What also works (as Wayne described): select multiple contacts, command-c to copy, and (after clicking the canvas or a cell) command-v to paste.
