Trying to download Elements 9 to my MAC

Ok so I have a copy of Elements 9 I want to download to my MAC. I have the serial number and everything. Is there a way to download it from Adobe? I know we are at 12 and I have that too, but sometimes it's just hard to let software go.

You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

Change your Date & Time settings to reflect automatic. It will fix the problem.

Has anyone tried to use Elements 9 on their Mac and had problems?

Trying to use Elements 9 on my mac, but find that the create and effects editing part of the package are not working. Does anyone else have this problem?

We have already uninstalled and re-installed it a few times, but it did'nt make any difference. Have also e-mailed Adobe about this but as yet have had no response. I know not all Mac users are having this problem, which is why its so frustrating.

On Mac OS, plugins are installed to a common location, usually ''' /Library/Internet Plugins''' for system-wide availability or to '''~/Library/Internet Plugins''' for a specific user. Ref: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Issues_related_to_plugins#Background

What problem are you having downloading that you need help with?
I don't know where they hide the downloads for Elements nowadays, and whatever they have done to their site has made even finding their products that much harder. But you can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

It looks like the CD is damaged. You could try copying the entire CD on to your hard disk in a temporary folder and then launch the setup.exe file by double clicking on it.
Can you do this? Please post back.
Whether 5 can run in Windows 7 is something I don't know. You just have to try it.

I have a MacBook Pro bought in January 2013. I am trying to download QuickTimeMPEG2-Playback software onto Mac OS 10.8.5 and it is telling me the software is for an earlier version of Mac OS X. Is there a newer version or a workaround?

It looks like the QuickTimeMPEG2-Playback software is no longer needed with the new QuickTime Player.
OS X: Unable to install QuickTime MPEG2 Playback Component
The QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component cannot be installed in OS X Lion and later because it is no longer needed. With OS X Lion and later, QuickTime Player plays MPEG-2 media without additional software. You can play most non-encrypted MPEG-2 file formats containing MPEG layer I or II audio, including .mpg, .mpeg, .m2v, .m2a, and .m2s files.

I am trying to download Elements 11...

Twice I downloaded files to my computer but its not saving as a program, rather as individual files. I have the download asst. on computer. I saved both to desktop. What can it be?

I'm not double clicking on any file. Where did you get that?I read the attached link and I see its for PURCHASED programs. Again, its the 30 day trial I am trying to download. I see that I'm not the only one having trouble downloading this free trial of PS Elements 11. Perhaps its, (like you say to someone else), Corrupted.
I'll let them know at the support dept.
