Trying to download Firefox 3.6.13 (twice) and get error "corrupt image, failed to mount
I have tried upgrading from 2.0.0.20, and is the first time I have ever upgraded.
I have MacOS 10.3.9
The last version of Firefox that works on OS X 10.3.9 is Firefox 2.0.0.20. Starting with Firefox 3 the minimum requirements is OS X 10.4, and for Firefox 4 it will be OS X 10.5 and an Intel mac.

Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START > ALL PROGRAMS > Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START > CONTROL PANEL/ > Add n Remove Programs, highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR -

I just purchased and Asus laptop, using Windows 8. I tried to download Firefox, and was warned (by Titanium) of all types of viruses, etc. etc.. I therefore deleted everything . What is this all about? I have been using Firefox on this computer for some time now and have not encountered any problems.

I have tried downloading Firefox multiple times. I have windows 8. When I click on Start download and box at the bottom comes up and asks if I want to run, save, or cancel. I click run. The next box that comes up is a time bar like pop up that says 0% extracting...it never goes any further. That box stays on the screen for a couple of seconds then nothing. There are no more pops, Firefox is no where to be found on the computer. Any ideas on a step I need to take to get it to download completely?

Download firefox, use the save option rather than install.
Save it directly to the flash drive, or to somewhere on your computer and copy/move it the flash drive.
However if IE is not working possibly you have some sort of setup problem so firefox may not work either. -

OK, never mind! I saw another question on the right side that addressed the problem, and it worked perfectly! Went to Major Geeks' page, downloaded the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, and was able to reinstall the updated version of iTunes! This community is super!

Cannot install Firefox at all - error message image failed to mount 0xe00002c9. Have OSX 10.4.11
Have tried to DL versions 3.5.13, 3.6.9, and 3.6.10 (not in that order). Only have Safari 4.1.2 as basic browser.
Automatic installer never opens, and when I double-click on the .dmg icon, I get error message 0xe00002c9.Firefox 4 doesn't run on a PowerPC Mac.
Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
