Trying to download Illustrator and CS6 design standard, but my mac can't open the downloaded files.
note, I had CS6 installed on my mac already, but uninstalled Illustrator due to starting problems (and problem with plugins, that I was unable to solve), and now Im unable to get it back...
mac installation files from adobe are .dmg files. make sure you have the correct files and that your browser did not removed the .dmg part of the file name.

I paid for the student creative cloud and was able to download the actual software but my Mac will not open the installer for the cloud. I click on the download (which is the installer) and all I get is the color wheel that shows that it's having issues completing the task. The "Finder" also says that it is not responding while trying to open the download. Any suggestions on how to get the installer open?

I am trying to purchase Creative Suite CS6 Design Standard. I own a Max OSX. I live in Germany. When I try to order for Germany, it gives me only an option for Windows, not Mac. How can I order?
In Germany no telephone number nor web chat is available. Searching on the Adobe site tells me that this forum is the only avialable means to ask consumer questions. I am giving up and ordering from elsewhere.

Yes, you can use it on 2 machines. You have to download the file on the new system or use the disc if you have.
Then use the same serial number. If you require the setup file please use the below link.

First of all, Sorry for my english i'm a french graphism student. So I have a MAC OS X Yosemite 10.10.2, i want to install the Adobe CS6 Design Standard but it doesn't work at all. They recommended me to go on Adobe support Advisor but i didn't find any solutions.
I installed Java for OS X2014-001 but it doesn't work either. Help please !!CS6 is not part of the Cloud, so moved to a more appropriate forum

Hi! I just joined the creative cloud. As a photographer I would like to download photoshop and lightroom. When I try to do this, before the download starts, I get the message: 'we are experiencing some problems, please try later'. I've tried multiple times for the last 3 days but no change... Any ideas?

just got a Nikon D610 and CS5 for Mac can't open the images -- message says installed version of camera raw doesn't support the camera. Downloaded the Raw 6.2 update for Mac, but installation failed. Now what?
The D610 didn't get out-of-the-box RAW support until Photoshop CC.
You can either upgrade to CC or use the DNG Converter to convert and open your DNGs in CS5. -
i am trying to connect my mac and PC through my network. the pc can seen and connect with the mac, but my mac can only see the pc it can't connect. how do i fix this?
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad

6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

I did download Lion and everything is fine, but why in app store still stated DOWNLOAD and not INSTALLED, I already did 3 times and it still in DOWNLOAD label
My guess is they changed that to Download for all the people who wanted to or needed to download it again. It's kind of a subset of Installed, now. I don't think it is a great solution, but that is what it is.

I have just bought a Panasonic Lumix compact camera. Aperture and Preview can't open the RAW files from this camera. Panasonic recommend downloading 'SYLKPIX Developer Studio SE' to save RAW file formats.How can Aperture and Preview read the files?
Either use 'SYLKPIX Developer Studio SE' to develope the RAW files and to save them in another lossless format like TIFF, or try if Adobe's free DNG Coverter can convert your Lumix RAW files to dng. Then import the dngs. This way, your files will still be RAW files. This works (most times) for my Lumix FZ28.

I updated to iOS5 weeks ago; but suddenly I can't open the mail, contacts, calendar settings and I am not getting any email to my iPad2 AND it keeps trying to connect and it is runnijng the battery down...any help?
I already tried rebooting, and I tried hooking it up to itunes as well, no luck there either.Try to reset all settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings. It won't delete your data.
When you say reboot, do you mean you pressed the home and sleep button at the same time until it restarted? -
