Trying to download mountain lion app from app store( after using redemption code)
Wheel spins for 5 secs then fails to download - clicking on the text - message says not available in uk
However, in the experience of some, in spite of saying that the app is quietly downloading in the background. It is a huge 4+ GB file IIRC and can take a long time to download based on your internet speed. When it's done, a an app called Install OS X appears in the Apps folder. It usually opens itself and prompts you to install the OS.

I have now spoken to Apple about my problem and they told me to explain the situation to my Broadband service provider British Telecom (BT).
For reasons not explained, BT suggested the problem lies with the Router hardware they have supplied (BT Business Hub - 2701HGV). Although it is relatively new there is something that prevents it from downloading Mountain Lion???
They are posting me a new one which will not arrive for 2 days. I will let you know if the new router solves this issue. -
Trying to download Mountain Lion on Mac Mini currently running Lion 10.7.4. Computer is set to never sleep. When I check progress it says "waiting" under purchases on App store. What does this mean? Way too long to still be waiting. HELP
In the app store where it says waiting, do you get the option to "resume"?

Trying to download Mountain Lion from App Store. It tells me that program size it's only 53.25 MB. When download completes (partially) tells me that download can´t be verified... Please give me a hint. Thanks
I encountered the same error "…can't be verified…" on my 2010 MBP too. Tried six times and finally I could get it installed. Here's what I did:
Went to "Users & Groups" in System Preferences, checked that the Apple ID specified for the current user is the same Apple ID I used in the download purchase of ML from the App Store.
Rebooted in Safe Mode.
Went to Disk Utility -> Repair Disk Permissions
Downloaded ML at midnight (and the download was significantly faster!)
Rebooted in Normal Mode.
Ran the ML Installer. -

Disable anti virus software and try turning off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall.
Quit then relaunch the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Then click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads -

Download Mac OS X 10.9 from the Mac App Store. If it's incompatible with your computer, Mac OS X 10.8 will be as well.

Yes, you can only use it once. But now the Lion Installer should be in your list in the Purchases pane with everything else you have bought. There it should have a download button. -
Mountain Lion purchased from Mac store will not download. 'Downloading' simply stays greyed out for hours. Nothing I do changes it. I am running OS 10.6.8 on a 2010 Mac Mini. What do I do now?
If you are looking at the front page of the App Store and you are seeing the "downloading" message on the right under Quick Links.
Try this... Go into the "Purchases" section in the top bar of the App Store find ML in the list you are presented with. Does it say Resume? If so click the button and it will change to Pause. You may have paused it previously and forgot.
If not then do as Csound1 suggested and simply wait for it to finish

I got it to download by going to the App Store, Purchases, and download.
This was after a false start thanks to Apple Help (total misnomer) which sent me to iTunes.
It is an amazingly slow download, so pack a lunch.
