Trying to download the iPod program to no avail
I have a 10.2 mac and am trying to download the iPod program - i downloaded the program, and installed it, but all that happens is the lemon attempts to open but then shuts down - is it because I dont have a 10.3 - and is there any way to upgrade... I know nothing about any of this so the less technical the response the better.

I'm trying to download the latest version of iTunes and get the message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run." I have no clue what to do with this to resolve the issue. Thanks for any help!
Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START > ALL PROGRAMS > Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START > CONTROL PANEL/ > Add n Remove Programs, highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR -
Hi, I bought an iPod 2 and I jailbreaked it before. I tried to download the iOS 5.0.1 from the Settings icon on my iPad 2 but then my iPad wouldn't turn on anymore and it kept on showing a screen with an arrow pointing to an iTunes symbol. I later learned that this was the recovery screen so I tried to put it out of the recovery mode by pressing the home button and power button simultaneously, but the screen kept on returning back to the recovery screen. I could not restore the iPad 2 on iTunes either, so I downloaded Tiny Umbrella 5.10.01 and tried to save the shsh. However, under the recovering devices section on the left side, my iPad did not appear and I only got a device titled ?18092..... I tried to save the shsh of this ?18902... anyways but this did not work. So, I clicked on the device and pressed the exit recovery but then my iPad2 screen went black with a white apple logo in the middle. This logo keeps on dimming and disappearing and even when I plug my iPad 2 to the computer, neither my iTunes nor the Tiny Umbrella notice it. I need urgent help!

At this point only a restore will fix your issue. -
I tried to download the latest upgrade and I got a message telling me "The application or DLL ProgramFiles/CommonFiles/Apple/Applie Application Support\ApplePushService.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." and then below that another message "iTunes was no installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 193). I tried reinstalling and it still will not work.
Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7,now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP,head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

I'm trying to download the newest version of for instance Illustrator (october 2014, including Creative Cloud Libraries, Lady with Sunglasses version) on my computer, but somehow I still get the older version (no libraries, Lion version). I'm using an iMac with the newest OS X Yosemite. I tried to reinstall Creative Cloud, removed all the programs. But I still get the 'old' 2014 version with the Lionhead, not the Sunglasses (october 2014) with interactive libraries. I use Adobe iPad apps, for instance Adobe Brush, Adobe Shape and Adobe Color and it's so great to have all the things you make with these apps in your Illustrator & Photoshop libraries. Somehow it worked om my laptop, but not om my home computer.

Hi, Need help. I am trying to download the latest iTunes for Windows application but on running the program it says that it can not be completed as it can not find the folder location of the file "iTunes.msi" . Any clues would be appreciated
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

I assume you are using the Creative Cloud desktop to download Ps CC? Try signing out, restarting your computer, and signing back in.

I am using an Mac PPC version 10.5.8 and I am trying to download the correct version of Flash Player. I did once but I had to install a "Clean Install" of my computer and when finished I had put back the new Flash Player I just installed well every time I try install the new player it is place in my Trash Folder and I can not get Player to work. I have bought a new macbook pro retina 13. I am not too familiar with Mac yet. I had an apple account with my iphone 4 which I stopped using a month ago. You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs. -

Actually, a "requested resource" error message (which I believe you are getting) most of the time has to do with iTunes having a problem with connecting to your iPod, rather than the iPod software update server (although a more rare possibility of this error message could occur in that sense).
