If you already have Acrobat installed, there's no need to download it again. When you launch Acrobat, you should be given an option to "License this Software." Click that option, and then log in with your Adobe ID and password, and you should be all set!

Are you running into this issue with one PDF in particular, or with any PDF that you open? Did the PDF display correctly previously? How was that PDF created?
For starters, please choose File > Properties and click the Fonts tab. What fonts are used in the PDF? Are they "embedded" or "subsetted."
I would be happy to take a look at the PDF here, if you'd like. Let me know!

The trial version of Acrobat Pro won't install. Instead I get an error message once the installation reachest approx. 84%.

This is the error message I get:

the 2nd file can only be installed on acrobat 9.1.0 pro extended.
what version do you have (click help>about)?
and what link did you use to get AcroProExUpd910_all_incr?

Buy the Snow Leopard retail installer (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A?fnode=MTY1NDAzOA).
That will take you to 10.6.3.
If required you can then use the combo updater to get to the latest version, 10.6.8 (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399)

I have a customer who is seeing a blank screen that opens behind the PDF window when viewing PDFs from our web site. The PDF files are being retrieved from Akamai.I'm trying to recreate the user's problem.
The user has IE9 and Acrobat X. I've tried downloading a trial version of Acrobat XI Pro, but my combination of IE9 and Acrobat XI Pro does not show the same thing he is seeing.

I'm using an iMac with the newest OS X Yosemite. I tried to reinstall Creative Cloud, removed all the programs. But I still get the 'old' 2014 version with the Lionhead, not the Sunglasses (october 2014) with interactive libraries.
