Please help ! I have bought a tv series from I tunes and some have downloaded and it will not finish so I bought I cloud and its still saying manage your storage in settings don't need to plug my i pad in ? I barley use this !! Help !!!!!!
Since you have never synced with iTunes before, you need to make the iTunes library your syncing library first. Read this very informative user tip for the instructions on how to do that.

After you have transferred all of your purchased content into iTunes, you can safely delete anything that you want to delete on the iPad itself in order to make room for your TV Shows.

Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears
Then do some house cleaning in iCloud (or purchase more storage)
Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage > Select a device if more that one > Show All Apps and turn off some apps that you don't need or care to be backed up.
Also, connect to iTunes and empty your Camera Roll onto your computer. Photos & videos tend to eat up a lot of space. -
Need help with being double charged on my icloud account when purchasing extra storage for my ipad?
I had this same problem on my 4S. I fixed it by restoring the phone to factory defaults. Previously, I had taken the additional step of restoring from backup but, as soon as I did, the problem returned. The fix is a hassle as I now have to reinstall my apps but at least I can manage mail on the phone.
The problem also occurred on my iPad2 but I'm not restoring it as it's a serious hassle (see above) and I don't actually read much mail on the device.
As a side note, I noticed incredibly high load averages (5+ processes for 1, 5, and 15 minutes; 12+ for 1 and 5 minutes at one point) as well as CPU usage that didn't drop below 15% (apparently all user processes, system seemed to be about normal). As could be expected, this also lead to incredibly rapid battery depletion.
I can't tell what processes were hogging the CPU as neither of my devices are jailbroken and Apple doesn't seem to like 'top' much. -
I tried to download a tv series and only 2 of the episode actually downloaded (the others have an error message). I can't figure out how to try to download them again. Thanks for any help
Open the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder, click on it in the sidebar, select the Erase tab, and reformat it.

Many thanks JEM24 for your help. Ive just spent the best part of six hundred pounds on a new Sony Rx100m2 compact camera, so I have no interest in the Ipods camera at all really. I doubt Ill be watching many videos on it as Im very lucky in that I have a good Android tablet. Its more as a stock music player that Ill be buying the Ipod for, if indeed I do end up buying one. I dont like the idea of paying the exorbitant amount added for more memory space that Apple along with most other companies charge. In fact I read an article on this very subject just yesterday in the tech section of Flipboard. It stated in the article that in the case of the Iphone the actual cost of each additional gigabyte of storage to Apple et al is something in the order of 60p.. This is certainly not reflected in the price us the customer has to pay at the till.. Its for this reason primarily that Apple in particular, because their products do not allow adding expandable memory of your own in the form of cheap to buy cards, that nobody in their right mind buys the 64gig etc Iphones..I am aware that we are discussing my potential purchase of an Ipod Touch here but you see my point. My iCloud storage is full and I need to delete some stuff. Can anyone tell me what is important to keep and what not? I'm just not sure what I really should back up each night and what doesn't really matter. I know my photo's should back up, but other than that, I'm not really sure.
I have taken some pics off and videos and appt, but it still says I need to delete before I can back up on iCloud. I'm starting to wonder if its a glitch with my personal phone. Can anyone help me?
Thanks!Only you can decide what's critical to back up. One option is to import your photos and videos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), then either delete them from your phone or exclude the camera roll from your backup in settings.
You might try going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, under Backup Options tap Show All Apps, then turn them all to Off (including camera roll), then look at the size of your next backup. If it doesn't go down significantly, something else is wrong. -
I have transferred all photos from iPad and iPhone to Mac. I have deleted almost all photos from both (about 200 remaining on each). I do not store tunes or videos. After making these changes, I still have the same message in iCloud.
Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage > Select your device (listed as 'This iPhone' or 'This iPad') then look at the next backup size. Compare the 'Next Backup Size' to the 'Backup Size' on taht same screen. If the next backup size is smaller, then you have successfully removed some content from your device.
Now the question still lingers as to why your iCloud is still showing so full right? Well, iCloud keeps the last 3 backups from each device. It doesn't duplicate them, but it uses an incremental backup system. So basically your device's backup will take up as much space on iCloud as the largest backup of the last 3 backups. With that being said, your iPhone and ipad will eventually shrink the size of your backup (if that next backup size is smaller) in about 3 days (3 backups assuming your iOS devices backup once as day when you are sleeping).
Can I expedite this? Well of course you can. If you want, you can Delete the backup from both of the devices via that same screen then go back to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, turn iCloud Backups back on, then backup now. Keep in mind that if you do this, it will clear out your last 3 backups (and cannot be undone), but it may also take a long while for your iPhone and iPad to complete that inital backup after deleting the old backups.
I hope this helps. (My Recommendation: Basically check what's in paragraph one, then it will works itself out in a few days.) -

I saved photos from my Macbook Pro onto my Iphone (using itunes, 4 years ago). My macbook is now dead and I need to get the photos I saved off of my iphone 3GS transferred to a pc. Any help... From my PC I can only access "internal storage"
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The picture sycn is one way - computer to iphone. The photos are also reduced in size when synced to iphone so they are not of the original quality
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup of your computer.
Have you failed to do this?

My iPhone is running out of storage. I want to delete a bunch of photos on my phone. I have iCloud. How do I delete photos from the iPhone and keep them on my computer? I need to free up storage as my phone will no longer take photos.
The only way you can do that is to import them into your library first, but you may have done that already.
The easiest way to tell is to select a photo from the photostream album in iPhoto and ctrl-click on it, if it gives you the option to import it isn't in your iPhoto library, if it offers you the option to show in library it has already been imorted. -

Upgrading phones is between you and the carrier if you are wanting them to subsidize the phone. Otherwise you would have to purchase the phone at full price.
Transferring purchases from the phone to iTunes is done with the device is connected to the computer, and in iTunes selecting transfer purchases. Yes, that will yield more storage on the phone when doing that. -

Is the jetpack 5510L compatible with VPN use
My jetpack 5510L does not seem to be compatible with VPN use. I installed a personal protective VPN for use at hotspots when traveling. It worked flawlessly since installing this year. Now I am in a resort and using the Jetpack but I cannot keep a co
