Trying to find default Navigation

Before the 2.2 update, I had the default navigation app that came with the phone. It was simple and really easy to use, not to mention free. When I updated to 2.2 i was forced to do a reset due to some issues that I was having with other software. Now, no more navigation app. I was wondering if there was a way to get it back.

I am currently creating custom timer job to call WCF web service to perform nighty job to update employee document library metadata. If I update regular list/library items it updates correctly on a specified interval basis. However when I try to integrate
the WCF client, it throws error shown below :
Could not find default endpoint element that references contract EmployeeServiceReference.
EmployeeServiceClient in the ServiceModel client configuration section. This might be because no configuration file was found for your application, or because no endpoint element matching this contract could be found in the client element.
I followed exact instructions Andrew Connell has provided but included my logic in execute()

Trying to find a file that is not showing up on Computer!!!

I am trying to delete a file that i found on cleanmymac. I am trying to find the file on my computer, but it doesnt work!!! On CleanMyMac it even says the location of where the file is, But i cant find it!!!!

If the file is in your user Library, it's hidden by default in Mountain Lion. You can reach it on the Finder's menubar, Finder > Go > Hold the Option key down > Select Library.
Make sure you know what the file is before you delete it.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Dynamic pages not pointing to the default navigation modal

i am creating a webcenter portal pages using Page service api and page - create new task flow.
but these pages are not visible in the portal administration section.
how can we point his pages to default navigation model are custom navigation model?

i haven't tried the same with code, but you have to make the page visible anyways with the below practicle example on admin section,
1) I have cretaed a sample WCP application and ran thought integrated WLS
2) i have logged in with weblogic user and created a page
3) it is not displaying the page on homp page>menu until you make it visible the page throught administration section

Server crashed trying to find the cause

Do you install Exchange 2013 on your server? If so, the issue could be due to an Exchange Service process terminated WININIT.EXE. You could refer to the article below to resolve the issue:

Imovie continually tries to find deleted files

I deleted several clips from imovie (7.1.4) and now when trying to open imovie it gets hung-up continually trying to find the deleted files. I have emptied the project folder and still it searches for the deleted files. How do get it to stop trying to find the deleted files?

Try deleting iMovie's preferences file. With iMovie closed, in Finder go to your User (Home) folder Library/Preferences. Locate a file named "com.apple.iMoviexx.plist" where xx represents the version number. I can't recall the exact .plist name for version 7.1.4, which is iMovie '08, but for iMovie '09 it's iMovie8, and for iMovie '11 it's iMovieApp (that is, "com.apple.iMovieApp.plist").
Drag the appropriate .plist file to the trash. When next opened, iMovie will create a fresh file with the default settings, which you can change if desired in iMovie's menu (iMovie>Preferences).
Deleting the preference file sometimes helps when iMovie is not performing as it should. Deleting the file will not damage any of your Events or Projects.

Firefox 4 no longer shows a Reload and Stop button on the Navigation Toolbar, but has a button on the right end of location that shows the different states. During the page load process it shows as a Stop button and after the loading has finished the button is changed to a Reload button. If you type in the location bar then that button becomes a Go button. 
You can middle-click that button to duplicate the current tab to a new tab.
To restore the Firefox 3 appearance you can use these steps:
* Open the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window to move the Stop and Reload button out of the location bar.
* Move the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position at the left side of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.

Thanks again Micke and Art of Sound. I have made tons of my own icons to represent iOS apps, Toy Pianos, Moog Synths etc. It's a fun touch to add to your work experience.
Your note about viewing the icons in "Icon view" in the finder is great as it's easy to distinguish and sometimes icons are poorly named.

Below are instructions for using Photoshop to create the icons:
- Copy image, go to P Shop, File>New, check for RGB and 72 ppi, Name file, then OK new file.
- Edit>Paste (Cmmd+V)
- Image>Canvas Size and change the horizontal or vertical value to make it square
- Edit>Free Transform (Cmmd+T)
- Hold the mouse outside of the box and until you see a curved arrow which will allow you to rotate as needed.
- Hold down Shift to keep into proportion and grab a corner "handle" and drag outwards or inwards to resize. Press Enter when done with transformation.
- On the Layers (F7) palette, select Background layer, Rt Click and choose Delete Layer
- Use the Magic Wand (4th tool down, may be behind another tool), click on white background (adjust "Tolerance" as needed - default is 32). Use Shift key to add to a selection. Press Delete key to eliminate pixels
Save As>png and enjoy!
The icons must be 128x128.

Tomtom as default navigation app?

Is there away to set tomtom as my default navigation app?
Say for instance i ask siri "navigate me home" it opens up tomtom instead of the maps app.

Thanks for the quick response however, I don't ask for the specific nav app. I just say "Navigate to Walmart" for example and the voice app says "Starting AT&T Navigator". There is no other option. And if I say "Navigate using Nokia Drive" it saves that command to one note. I am trying to change AT&T Navigator to Nokia Drive when I tell my phone via voice to "Navigate" to wherever.

Using TOMTOM as default navigation application

Hello All,
I am interested in purchsaing TOMTOM but i had a basic question. Currently GOogle maps is the default navigation software. By this i mean if i use Yelp to find a bar, or if i go online to get an address, the phone will automatically use google maps to give me direction. Is there a way to set TOMTOM to be my default navigation software so that Yelp or any other 3rd party app will automically open TOMTOM to navigate me instead of google maps? I am having very bad experience with the accuracy of google maps. Any info on this would be great.

Gmail is web based, so you can't really make it the default program - it's really only a website.
You can set up Apple mail to with a Gmail account as the main account - so it's the same thing as making Gmail default.

Gnucash startup "cannot find default values"

I keep getting the error "cannot find default values" when launching gnucash 2.4.8-1.
I tried "Setup" and "update search path" and "install into home directory" options, but neither of them seem to fix the problem - the error message keeps reappearing after launching gnucash.
Any idea how to fix this?

I am using FM10 in Windows 8 (I occasionally get this error whenever adobe products are updated on my machine)
If you work in a more controlled environment (Federal Subcontractor with administrative controls everywhere), I contact my IT department , or if you have the administrator rights, perform the following steps:
Launch command prompt as administrator.
Type “appwiz.cpl” press enter
Right mouse click on Adobe Acrobat Pro and select change
Select repair and click next.
If necessary enter administrative credentials when requested.
Reboot workstation
