Trying to find perfect Tablet PC!
Hi!
I've been doing a little research on what to get to replace my old tablet PC. Currently I have a Gateway, and it's worked great up until recently.
I'm a digital artist that uses the tablet PC in place of an actual tablet and monitor. I'm looking for another tablet PC that has Wacom tablet capabilities and "more modern" laptop qualities (higher amounts of memory, ram, storage, and processor speeds). The programs that I typically run are the entire Adobe Photoshop Creative suite, which takes a lot to run. Probably why my old laptop isn't doing so hot.
If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. Right now I'm looking for the best suited match, then I'll consider the price between the best choices. Thank you so much!!!

I apologize for the long delay in reply! I did a lot of research before I bought a convertible notebook, but I'm very happy with the HP I selected. The current generation of this computer is the HP TouchSmart Model TX2-1275DX. This one has twice the RAM of the one I bought several months ago. I successfully run Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator on this computer as well as the less demanding Microsoft Office 2007 suite and Bejeweled 2 Deluxe! Don't tell anyone about that last part.
The touch screen is managed in partnership with Wacom, so it should satisfy that requirement. I find the stylus that is included works pretty well (even though my paws are pretty big, I get the kind of response that I need for my drawings) and that the handwriting recognition software works pretty well at interpreting my deteriorating handwriting now that it's been trained. The optical drive on my unit is removable.
The only down-sides that I can think of is that some may consider it heavy and the battery -- which should be removed when the PC is plugged in -- is really handy as a means of holding the unit when I'm not working on a desk. Sometimes the screen feels a bit small, but it hasn't impacted any of the art that I've created. Well, so far.
I hope this helps. I recommend what you're doing already: research the available products until you find one that satisfies your requirements and, truthfully, gets you at least a little bit excited. That's how I was with the HP I bought. It's only my opinion though, so as I say around the office a lot, "YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary)." Good luck with your search!

FaceTime and iMessages have stopped working since i updated to 7.0.3, saying there is a network error and to try again later. Have tried reinstalling Find my iPhone to see if it works. I'm trying to find out how to export my apple contacts to the Salesforce software and they need to be in a csv format and I don't know if this is possible and how to do it if it is?
I think there are third-party programs which will do that, but you can also do it with Automator:

The file or clipboard contents will be in Tab Separated vars, so you'll have to open with a spreadsheet program and save as Comma Separated Vars format. -

Find My iPhone is good for misplaced iPhone but not good for thief and it was never meant to be.
You chance of getting it back is very small.
There are a few things you can try.
Try remote lock/wipe your iPhone through Find My iPhone.

I'm trying to find an easy way to import my MP3 collection into iTunes without moving, copying or changing it.
I can't believe that iTunes doesn't have this feature, as even the most basic music players always have this.
I only use iTunes to sync my iPod, as I like Media Monkey to play my MP3s.
I have 137GB of MP3s, mainly from my ripping my CDs, LPs and downloading from Amazon. I've only purchased a handful of songs from iTunes,

Okay, no problem.
If the top bar menu is not displayed in top left of your iTunes Library, use the CTRL+B keys to turn it on:
On that menu, use File/Add Folder to Library and navigate to the folder you wish to add:
If you wish to add just one song, notice the File/Add File to Library command on that menu as well.
Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop from the file's location into your iTunes Library.
That's all there is to it.
By the way, it is possible to have Amazon MP3s downloaded to your computer and then automatically added to the iTunes Library by the Amazon downloader. I do it all the time.

I had a drive failure and lost the iWeb file along with other things.
I did manage to save a lot of user file documents but I don't see or
recognize the iWeb site file. It was on a 15" G4 Titanium pb.
I'm trying to find a way, using version 2.0.4 of iWeb on a different
pb to recover the file into the iWeb app or a way to download the site into iWeb.
There are 6 pages of images and text, and it
would be a task for me to recreate the whole thing again. I did
download the site but I don't know how or if I can get iWeb to see it and open it.

[email protected]Unfortunately iWeb cannot read or import previously published files, only generate them. You'll have to recreate your site from scratch.
However, Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the recreation of the site.

You need to contact the people who administer the networks to get the passwords for the networks. If there was such an app as you are asking for then passwords for wifi networks would be worthless.

I'm exhausted of trying to find a solution to a problem created by Apple. I have moved to icloud following all your instructions and now I can not use my mobile me e-mail address. I can not activate icloud because when I put my e-mail address it answers that somebody is already using my address. I have my old e-mails, but I can not receive any e-mail or send them.
I have contacted Apple Technical Support in Spain and I was sent an e-mail saying that I have to call a phone number and when I call it is always an answering machine who answers that says that I have to pay 50€ for a consultation or wait for 10 minutes. When I have made the consultation it was never mentioned that I have to pay 50€ for a phone consultation. If I don't want to wait I have to pay for the Apple Tecnical Support which cost 250 €, this was not mentioned in the technical support page.
Can somebody let me know how can I contact Apple in another way in order to talk with a human being or chat directly? I was very happy just using my mobileme e-mails, I didn't need any clouds and I was force by Apple to registered if I want to continue using my mobileme e-mail address.Sandra,

I have been trying to find an e-mail address for Apple problems that are not on your list of questions usually asked. Could you therefore let me have an e-mail address for being able to sort a problem I have with i-tunes purchasing for audo books as I by mistake downloaded a book instead of an audio book and would like a refund for The One I Love by Paul Pilkington so that I can download the audio book. This is the first time that I have used this facility and I obviously got confused with books and audio books, I need audio books because I have an I Pod Nano and I like to listen to my books on this. You can use iCloud to share the Calendar, that way she will always be up to date on that particular section of your work calendar. If you want to use iCloud, I would recommend backing up so you have a safe copy of your data.
