but no area codes come up so I can't proceed - HELP

Two things could be occurring here:
If you are experiencing website issues, try accessing the Skype website using a different web browser than you typically use.
If you are successfully working your way through the order process, and are not finding the area code you prefer, this is due to numbers not being available for any number of reasons out of Skype's control.  Skype Numbers are indeed not available everywhere.

If you proceed to contact Customer Service, skip past Step 2 of the instruction where several articles from the FAQ library will appear for you to review, and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request (the "button" appears at the lower right corner of the website page). You may also skip past in Step 4 where you will be referred back here to the Community; no need to do this as the Community is where you started.

  • Can you get a new serial number for Logic Studio?

    so i just bought Logic Studio from a friend and i successfully installed it onto my mid 2012 13-inch MacBook Pro (entry level). Problem is that after the software was installed, i opened one of the applications that came with the bundle (Logic Pro) and it requested me to enter my serial number. I typed the right one and it didnt let me in. I tried to do that with all the other applications that came with Logic Studio but none of the apps let me in even though i tried more than a bunch of times.
    So my question is: can you get a NEW serial number?
    if not, then is there another solution that wont require me to download hack files?

  • Cannot get my own skype number

    I try to get a Skype number but keep gettling logged out. I get to pick my number and then when I press the number I get logged out and have to do the process again. However I get to choose the number and Skype registers that but now when I try yo Activate it I get logged out again. On top of this I cannot verify my own mobile number either - I get "An internal error has occurred" Pretty buggy website Skype

    I have arranged to merge your questions into a single thread, which we usually do not do as you did the right thing by asking about your Skype Number order and your mobile number verification issue separately, however I suspect both issues may be related in your case.

    If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service, try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented.  Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.
    Will return with more information when I have news.
    Update: Please change the password on the account you are using to set up your new Skype Number subscription, and then try the process of activating the subscription and validating your mobile number again, using a different web browser than you customarily use.

    If the serial numbers were prominently listed, I wouldn't be in here asking questions.  The instructions said the serial number would be emailed to me or show up in my account.  I got neither one.  I tried the one off the original CS2 Premium CD box,
    but it didn't accept that one either.  So where is this number so prominently displayed?

    You normally use the same serial number that you are first issued.  If you registered your product when you first installed it then you should be able to find your setial number available thru your Adobe account online.

  • When a contact gets a new phone number, I delete the old and enter the new.  Then when I text or call the old number shows up as a selection yet it's no longer under the contacts info.

    When a contact gets a new phone number, I delete the old number and enter the new number.  When I try to text or call, both the old a new numbers. One up as a selection choice, even though the old number is gone from the contact.

    That's normal behavior as the old one will remain in the memory cache for a while until it's eventually overwritten.  If it's particularly bothersome to you, you can restore your phone as NEW and this will empty the cache.

  • Trying to get the New Rascal Flatts Album....

    I have been trying to get the new Rascal Flatts Album (Unstoppable) using the complete my album feature. I bought the four singles from the countdown to the album thing. When I go to my "Complete My Albums" page, it doesn't show up there. I went to the album main page and clicked "Buy Album." I confirm I wanna buy the album and a pop-up window comes up saying I have bought 4 songs previously that meet the requirements for the "Complete My Album." I click complete my album, but it does NOT download ANYTHING!
    I don't want to pay $4 more to get the album. I was told that I could buy it for $7 TODAY using this feature as long as I bought the four singles. I did buy them and I don't really wanna go through and buy them yet again.

    Presuming you're using the latest version of iTunes (if not, you might try updating), contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form at the bottom of the Purchase Issues FAQ web page and explain the problem to them.

    I want to finalize my new Skype number. At point of payment I was asked to verify payment then next screen was an error message. Payment has been pending for 48hrs. I doubt this payment will finalize as the verify process didn't complete. i want my new number ASAP. Can I cancel pending payment and retry. I'm in a hurry as going overseas. Thanks

    I purchased both the apple tv and VGA connections for my iPad so I can mirror/project this image onto my television. When I purchased both of these items from the store, I was told it would support this feature.     It has to flash rapidly .. not the normal flashing which is slow.
    Are you holding in reset and actually feeling it switch on.. and keep holding it until the LED goes crazy and flashes really fast.
    If that is not working your TC is faulty.. I suggest you take it to Apple for testing.

    Is it possible to get a UK skype number from Japan?
    If it is possible, can I use this number to be displayed when I call Japanese customers?
    (eg. they see a number something like, +44 xxx xxx)

    Ok not got an RTX myself but have looked at them.
    I presume you have got the RTX connected to your network via ethernet and also to the Spanish land line connected too. Sign into your Skype account on the RTX, I presume you have some calling credit on your Skype account.
    Your RTX will ring on whichever incoming number that has been called, either the Spanish line or your Skype UK number.
    Check the calling rates page for costs to call the UK. https://www.skype.com/en/rates/?nu=subs-calling. Open up the rates to United Kingdom, then check the Pay as You Go rates and select "view all PAYG rates". That will open up a tab with all the PAYG rates to the UK including mobiles and special numbers. Note that there is a connection charge too. General charges are 1.8p/min + 3.1p connection fee to landlines and 7.6p/min + 5.6p connection charge to UK mobiles
    If you find yourself making a lot of UK calls then a subscription might give better value, but note there are two types of subscriptions, one type is only to UK landlines and the other is to UK landlines and mobiles.

  • I have spent the last week trying to get a new phone.

    Last Wednesday I spoke with a lovely young lady in the Charlotte, NC call center.  My cell phone was no longer working and I was just a little over a month shy of my renewal date.  We had a great conversation and she granted an exception to have me order a new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and we could renew my contract early.  Great!  I ordered 2nd day shipping thinking it would be to my home my Friday, maybe Monday.  I was fine with that.
    I kept an eye on verizonwireless.com and noticed it still said my order was pending as of Thursday, so I called and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Tucker.  He told me the phone was still pending manager approval, but that he would have that approved immediately and it would be sent out post haste.  Not ideal, but I could live with Monday delivery. 
    Yesterday (Monday), I phoned again.  My Verizon didn't have the tracking number.  The person I spoke with called the warehouse and said that my credit card was declined, and that was the reason the phone was never ordered.  She said I should have been told this last week and apologized.  I asked if I could go into a store to pick up the phone and she had to talk to her manager to get that approved.  After a long hold she came back on the line and told me that I could go into any store to pick up a phone, that I would be eligible for an early upgrade, and it would be clear to the person in the store that was approved.
    I get to the store yesterday, and they check my account, which says I'm not eligible for an early upgrade and I'm told at this point I will not be able to get the phone there.  I call customer service and speak with a girl who transfers me to tech service, where I reach a man named Tucker.  I'm not sure if it's the same person I spoke with last week.  Tucker senses my frustration and tells me he will fix the problem.  He offers to send me a phone via overnight mail to my home address.  He says he cannot make it so I can pick up a phone anywhere, and that it's quicker if he just does this.  I had resigned myself to the fact that I will need to wait for a new cell phone, and accept the offer to overnight the phone.
    Today, I called customer service.  My phone hadn't shipped.  It turns out the terms & conditions were accepted after the batch time, and it wouldn't be available until tomorrow.   I explained the situation yet again to a new person, who felt for what I had been through and told me that it's not typical service and not acceptable.  He offered me a special promotional plan and offered to overnight a phone.  I indicated I preferred to get a phone today (as I've said the last 3 days I've called) since my previous orders through customer service had gone awry and that I would appreciate it if there was a supervisor I could speak with.  The rep transferred me to Marlene.
    Marlene again sympathized with the situation and told me should would resolve the issue.  She told me the reason the store was unable to fulfill the order was that the Wireless Zone I'd gone to was a 3rd party and I'd have to go to a corporate store.  She called the closest Verizon store while I was on hold and spoke with the manager.  She got back on the phone and told me everything was all set...I should talk to Zach and I'd be able to get a phone.  I drove the 25 minutes to the Verizon store in Waterbury, CT.  I got there and Zach informed me that he was sorry for the confusion, but that he wasn't able to give me the phone since he could only offer me a small discount.  I had to buy a $70 pay as you go phone in order to remain reachable by work and in case of emergencies (another snow storm tonight).
    Needless to say I was and am very frustrated.  When I returned to the office an hour and a half later, I called customer service and got Ryan.  He offered the same thing I'd been offered before; he would order the phone via overnight delivery.  To sweeten the pot, he offered me a promotional plan for $20 cheaper than my current plan.  Great.  I was on the phone for 23 minutes, the majority of which I spent on hold while Ryan tried to get an approval.  I hung up when I had an urgent issue come up.  I called back later and spoke with a woman who told me the order was not placed, that she could call me back with a resolution in a half an hour.  I did not hear back from her.
    I finally call back close to 3:30 and get John.  John is very kind and is sorry for all the difficulty I've experienced.  He gets a director to approve a change to my upgrade date so I can go into a store (and he specified any store) to get a new phone.  I left work early and went to the store, where the rep said I could not get a phone due to the fact that there was a pending order on the account.

    That situation went from inconvenient to complicated quickly.  Wait for any pending orders to drop off, wait for things to clear up, wait till your upgrade comes up and then upgrade when your contract is fulfilled.  I would have suggested a replacement phone, I know, with only a month left why couldn't you just upgrade early, but these situations where people try to upgrade early always end horribly and once a phone order starts, it almost cannot finish until something winds up shipped received and returned.  Sorry this happened the way it did.  Definitely not efficient.
