Trying to get Essbase Client 11.1.2.3 for Linux 32bit, please need help
Hello,
I am running a RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.4 64-bit system and have an application that requires the 32-bit Essbase Client 11.1.2.X libraries in order to connect to an Essbase 11.1.2 server instance.
From reading through the forum posts for the past couple days I have come to an understanding that Oracle Essbase 11.1.2 no longer ships a Linux client as a separate assembly so you have to install the full Essbase server then extract the client files out of that to use.. So I am trying to get the correct bundle of files downloaded to even get the installer to launch properly so I can select a minimal installation including client components, but I can't get the correct zip files, I am getting close, but there is still a few missing, and the instructions I have found seem to refer to 11.1.1.X versions that have changed quite a bit in the 11.1.2.X version.
Can anyone please help me figure out what I am still missing to get the install running and how to extract the client libraries?

I am going through the list of entries, but the only references I have seen so far have been for Windows downloads and this is linux, and then there are the Assembly for linux32 messages, but I need that since I need the 32bit client libraries, right?
Can someone shed some light on this adventure in installing all of this since all of the install instructions I have been seeing are for an older version packaged differently?

Thank you for this. It set me on the right path. I wound up installing all of them as I was still getting those errors, but after I realized the REAL error was not the aseemblies not exsisting, but it was the "EPMINS-01084: Assembly for linux32 platform is used Failed!" error.
The Linux System i was TRYING to install on is RHEL 64bit, but I was trying to install a 32bit client as i needed a 32bit client. It just refused to install a 32bit client on a 64bit Linux machine.
I configured a CentOS 32bit Linux VMWare image and viola, the same driver files installed without an error.
Not sure why the 32bit client would not let me install on a 64bit system, but I finally got it now.
Now to tar the Essbase directories up and move them over to the RedHat machine where I need them.

Hi there,
It sounds like there may be an issue with the quality of the PDF. Not all PDFs are created equal, and especially those created from scanned documents can be problematic if the scan quality isn't the best. Is there a dark background on the PDF, or stray marks or smudges?
You can try converting with OCR disabled at outlined in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community. But, while that's a good test to find out where the problem lies, you'll end up with a Word document that isn't editable, so it's not an optimal solution.

You must be using an update CD. You need the software that has the full version first - install that, then you can use the update one if needed. I know, cuz I made the same mistake - lol

i have been trying to get my ibook g4 fixed from apple for 6 years now. my ram doesnt work and the logic board is f'd up aswell... i know 12 people that have had the same issue. 4 of them got there ibooks replaced. anyone know what to do? all 4 ibooks were replaced outside warranty, why wont apple help me...
Apple supports most of their computer products for a 7 year period, could be that your IBook is well past any kind of help.Secondly parts are no longer being made for this machine and never will be again. Finally I find it hard to believe that nothing has been done with this for 6 years.Have you documented the reasons why you were turned down for repairs ? were the replaced Ibooks within a couple of months of warranty expiration? What model is your IBook ? At least if we knew what the model #, some of the more techy types could find out if there were any repair programs for your model.
Seems odd that you'd hang on to a non-working IBook for that long. -

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

I'm trying to reinstall Logic Pro 9, and it says It's already installed. I have a project due for class and I need help asap. Please help!!!
Yea I am. I deleted Logic Pro 9 and moved the App to the Trashcan like normal. Then when I go to install it, it says its already Installed. When I do this with other apps; it works fine, the install thing comes back up like it should once you have deleted the app

I am trying to "personalize" my cs2 software online download with the serial number from my original boxed cd set and it didn't work. I tried using the download serial number and that doesn't work either. Need help!
I understand that you have also used the download link & serial number from Adobe - CS2 Downloads, if still the CS2 is not working, then please refer to the system requirement for e.g System requirements | Photoshop
The issue can be that the present operating system might not be compatible with the CS2.

If you were using Apple's BootCamp and received this message, quit it and open Disk Uility in your Applicaitons/Utilities folder.
Select the Macintosh HD partition on the left and select Erase and Erase Free Space > Zero option and let it complete (important) this will check the spare space for bad sectors that can cause issues formatting partitions.
Once it's completed, try creating a partiton again in BootCamp.
If that doesn't work, then hold command option r keys down while connected to a fast internet connection, Internet Recovery should load (spinning globe) and then in that Disk Utility, select your entire internal drive and click > First Aid > Repair Disk and Permissions.
reboot and attempt Bootcamp again.
If you still get a error, it might be that you have OS X data on the bottom area where BootCamp partition needs to go. This would occur if you had the drive or computer for a long time or wrote a large amount of files to the drive and nearly filling it up and then reduced some, but it left traces in the area BootCamp needs to go.
To fix this
BootCamp: "This disc can not be partitioned/impossible to move files."

Ok so I have a free standing iSight Cam, is it possible to use it with my white MacBook ? and if so how do I go about it ? I've tried researching for updates, drives but need help. Can someone give me some direction ?

OK so yes, but if, and only if:
(1) your MacBook has a Firewire port (not all do)
- and -
(2) your old external iSight camera works (not all do)
- and -
(3) your MacBook is working properly.
If you are not certain whether your MacBook model has Firewire, you can search MacBook Technical Specifications for your model. Alternatively, check the User Guide Manual that came with your MacBook for the information you need to be certain.
If you are not certain that your old external iSight camera works, you can test it using the suggestions in this link.

Follow the instructions in your iSight User's Guide to connect and turn on the iSight. Then launch the Apple app you want to use with your iSight. If you need more information about using an app, search for "camera" (without the quote marks) in the Help menu choice for the app.

Basic question is why are any of the minimun 8 Verizon reps that I or my Authorized Verizon Rep (at Costco) spoke with unable to resolve a very simple, straightforward issue that should have been resolved in 15 minutes max. Instead I (a 14 year verizon customer) have been given the runaround and have invested over 6 1/2 hours in trying to get someone to acknowledge that I an owed 1 GB of Bonus Data on my new phone on our new plan. My wife got hers. I am just venting now as I intend on returning the phone tomorrow (I got it Thursday) and turning around and getting an identical new phone. This was suggested to me as an option by both the Rep who sold my wife her phone and the rep who sold me mine as that way I would not have to contiinue dealing with this ridiculous state of affairs (they indicated that my Free gig request was being sent to another department and that it would be about 7 days befor they get an answer). No I was considerate, etc. The root of the problem stems from the fact that when I went to get my new phone I asked the salesperson if I should sign up for the new plan or if my wife should do it the following day when she buys her new phone (also at a Costco but in a different state). The salesperson said it made absolutely no difference so I elected to have my wife do it. When she did the next day she got her free Gig and her salesperson told her that I need to call in to make sure I get the gig that I am entitled to as well. That's when the runaround started with the first call consisting of me basically advising Verizon of what the promotion consists of, etc.since they insisted that it was one gig per Plan, that there were no exceptions to this, etc. As mentioned they wanted to know where I got the information that it was one gig per qualifying phone. (Both the rep and her supervisor obviously were not aware of how Verizons heavily touted More Everything plan works). They told me finally that I needed to go back to the Costco where I got the phone. I did. The salesperson apologized numerous times to me for advising me that it made no difference who signs up for the plan or when. She then spent over two hours on the phone (with me next to her) attempting to explain to Verizon what happened, how it was her fault, and how I was clearly entitled to the Bonus Gig since I also had a qualifying phone. Finally she was transferred to someone who authorized the Bonus Gig (since I was clearly entitled to it) and who indicated that it might take 24 hours to show up on my new Plan. 72 hours later, no change, and the runaround continues some more. The only reason I even came to this forum was to let off some steam since no one could give me an answer.. It's clear that I am entitled to the Bonus Gig yet the last supervisor I spoke with told me that he could only pass the request on to another department via e-mail (no direct contact, etc. even though I gave him the name and employee # of the Verizon rep who indicated the Bonus was approved) and that an answer should be forthcoming in about 7 days. I was very cordial with everyone I spoke with as I understand that they take their direction from the top. The countless hours I have spent dealing with this situation is something that no-one should have to go through, particularily someone who has been a Verizon Plan customer since about year 2000. Everyone seems to agree that I am entitled to the free gig but no one seems to be in a position to help this customer. Its a horrible way to treat someone. I talked with the original saleslady today and told her I would be in tomorrow to turn in the phone and get a new one along with the gig I was entitled to. She said that would be fine and wouldn't be a problem but that she would be happy to try calling Verizon once again to try to resolve the issue. I indicated that I'm done with wasting time taliking with well-meaning and courteous (and I assume underpaid) employees who I assume are pretty much directed from above that any concessions they make, even if the customer is entitled to them, will reflect badly on their employee evaluations . Good thing I am retired or I would really be worked up. They only way I would consider even talking to Verizon anymore on this is if they were to waive the $60 in upgrade fees my wife and I paid for the new phones. About a month ago I was trying to get the pics off my husbands phone into our icloud for printing. It recognized it as my ipod and synced to that, erasing all of his pics. We had just been on a trip to Tahiti and there were alot of pics lost. I spoke to a representative at the apple store on Friday that recommended trying something since it was backed up to my icloud. She was wanted me to try to restore the device back to that date or before. Any tips on how to do this? I have trouble right clicking and am not seeing what she was talking about. Trying to get fios since it came out in NYC... Need advice
I live in the Financial District in Manhattan, NY and I have been trying to get FIOS for three years now, with no luck... I call in every few weeks and still no availability, I just get the typical 6 - 12 months response from VZ I have been getting for 3 years.
A year ago, the building across the street from me got FIOS. I called to let VZ know and see if I could get it too. They said that because it wasnt on my block, it wouldnt help me in my neverending quest to get FIOS.
A month ago, a building right next door (on the same block, about 5 feet from my front door) just was finished being built, and they have FIOS available to their residents, built into the building.... Yet when I call VZ, they still say it is unavailable to me, even though though my neighbor has it.
You would think VZ would be trying to expand their coverage as much as they can, yet whenever I call customer service to inquire about getting FIOS, I feel like I just get put on hold for an hour and I dont end up any closer to my goal.
Since my new neighbor (we even share a wall) has FIOS, does anyone have any advice on how I could get it? Getting FIOS seems to be almost as difficult as dealing with TWC...

Are you in a Multiple Dwelling Unit (condo/apartment)?
If so, VZ can not install FIOS in your building until your landlord/HOA signs two agreements.

Just so you are aware this is a user to user forum, so the replies you get here are mainly from users like your self. You have provided very little info to go by and my suggestion below is just a guess.
You may have downloaded the LR 5 Creative Cloud trial version and trying to input the perpetual version license key, that will not work.
