Trying to get iPhoto 6.0.6...Having problems

I am trying to download 6.0.6 iPhoto software update. I currently have a 5.0.4 system. It downloads unto my desktop fine. Then I use the installer and everything is find until the select destination step. It says "You cannot install iPhoto Update 6.0.6 on this volume. An eligible iPhoto application was not found in the location /Applications/iPhoto.app." I know I have enough space and I know I have iPhoto in my applications (I use it all the time!) so I'm pretty confused and frusterated...please help.

I bought a 2011 MBP on ebay, have the reciepts and all. I have Applecare for two more years. I try to install Iphoto and it gives me an error message "These apps cannot be accepted on this computer." I have everything that came with the computer. I have not seen any cd's in the box; though. Any suggestions, im getting frustrated.

When you buy on eBay you are usually buying from a seller that has dummied up the OS on the computer. Contact the seller and get any install disks. Contact the seller and have him get you iLife (contains iPhoto) which should have been installed on the MBP. Buyer beware when you buy computers on eBay.

Trying to get iphoto back on a post-Mavericks computer.

Have a circa 2009 laptop that ran a bought and paid for version iphoto just fine.
Foolishly tried to upgrade to Mavericks and discovered it turned the laptop into a virtual paper weight.
Rolled back to Snow Leopard 10.6.8
Iphoto was not included with that system disc, and now I cannot find iphoto without sourcing and buying it individually from a 3rd party.
The computer was registered. Apple knows the system and that iphoto came with this computer, but apparently I can not just download the software again.
Is this OK? Or is it incredibly lame?

Once an application was going it was fine, but opening or switching between applications caused the beach ball to often spin for minutes at a time. I hadn't anticipated such a performance drop when I suggested upgrading to Maverick's.
That is frequently due to applications or tools, that install system modifications, but have not been updated to Mavericks compatible versions. These system modifications can cause hanging, crashes, and memory leaks. Look for device drivers, plug-ins, preference panes, that you installed, while still running Snow Leopard or earlier. The tool, Etrecheck, that Old Toad mentioned, can help you to track down such incompatible system modifications.

I am trying to get icloud. I am having issues with the email address.

I signed up for an apple account ant it would only let me use my hotmail account. I got an account and i tried to use it to sign into icloud and it isn't working. THe apple web site stated that I could re name my account later. Please tell me what i need to do. I have a windows 7.

I understand that you have also used the download link & serial number from Adobe - CS2 Downloads, if still the CS2 is not working, then please refer to the system requirement for e.g System requirements | Photoshop
The issue can be that the present operating system might not be compatible with the CS2.

Please let us know what you mean by "not working."
But all IRS forms are available as PDF files, so I'm not sure why you're converting to PDF. You can get the 1099-Misc PDF from here: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Form-1099-MISC,-Miscellaneous-Income-

While using HP 34401A Multimeter, I'm trying to create a database but am having problems with it.

Hi, I'm trying to save the readings in a ASCII file by using in 'HP 34401A Getting Started.vi', a file provided in the instr.lib folder.
The multimeter reads the instruments correctly and displays it on the screen, but when I connect the wire to 'Write to Sreadsheet File.vi', it shows 0 in the ASCII file (which I open in Excel) yet showing the correct readings on the screen.
Any help is truley appreciated.

When using the "Write to Spreadsheet File.vi", make sure that you have the format parameter correct. You can find a list of the parameters by going to Help\Contents and Index\Index in LabVIEW and searching for "formatting". "Specifier Syntax in Strings" and "Format Specifier Examples" may be useful to you. Make sure that you have enough decimal places.

Well I have been at this for 3 days trying to get Iphoto to load. I have uninstalled, installed over and over again the ILife. Today I even downloaded Iphoto for 15 dollars from the App Store. I am running version 10.7.2 on my IMAC. Please please please can someone help get my Iphoto up and running. Thanks!

As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'

Is anyone having problems using AAMEE to create CS5.5 deploy packages?

I am able to create a deploy package without an issue. SN gets verfied so I know its not that eventhough it's getting the pre-chrome license error in the log files. I looked at the directions that Adobe gives for the pre-chrome error and the only way I can do a silent install is by enabling the built-in Administrator account, logging to that account and running silent command from there. Thats really not a fix when you have 10,000 computer to deploy to. Anyone have the workaround for this?

Having problems with USB cable, please HELP!

While trying to download aim/aol I was having problems with my USB cable and my phone being connected, it was like they were showing they were conneted but when I tried to download aim it said no drivers were recognised. My phone was giving me the option when the USB cable was plugged in asking me if I wantd to do something to do with the media mass storage.
Anyway, once the drivers were downloaded to my comp and I plugged USB cable into my phone and comp i'm no longer being asked on my blackberry about the mass storage, my phone doesn't seem to be recogniaing tht it's linked up to my computer at all even though it's showing the little plug thing in my blackberry and coming up on the computer.
Is there anybody out there who can help me?!

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List.

I am having a problem trying to get the new version of itunes to download correctly to my laptop. I have updated my ipad to the new ios 7, and windows is showing that it has been downloaded but when I connect my ipad, it is saying I have to download itune
