Trying to get text to wrap ALL the way around either text, images, shapes in Mac Pages. I tried in Pages Word Processing

I have tried everything to get text to "wrap completely around" other text, images, shapes. Mac Pages - tried Word Processing and tried Page Layout. Inspector, wrap, Floating and Object causes wrap. The text will ONLY wrap at the TOP and BOTTOM of the object, etc. No matter which choice I make in Object causes wrapping. It just doesn't work. I have worked for hours on this - I can't find a solution. HELP!

What version of Pages?
I suspect you are using Pages 5 in OSX 10.9 not OSX 10.8.4.

Why do i pay more and more money yet the service gets worse and worse -- all the way around.

First of all, someone need to repair this site, because now, for the last thee times I've tried to log in, I have gotten a message that my password and user name aren't matching or some such nonesense. Mind you, I have it written down, and log in once a month to ipay the bill.

Instead five times I got booted back to the cue.

What type of phone do you have? Is it a newer, 4G phone? Those phones are NOT available with one of the pre-paid plans.
Do you have a Family plan, or only an individual plan? Family plans are not an option on pre-paid plans. You would have to manage each line separately, keeping a pool of money available in each plan to be paid when the plan renews each month.
Several people have posted on these forums when they have forgotten to "fund" their pre-paid account and have lost their number and have to begin service again from scratch. There are also those on these forums who have forgotten the funds in their pre-paid account "expire" after a period of time and money in your account can be lost in this manner. Yes, there are upsides, but there ARE downsides to having a pre-paid account. You would have to balance the pros and cons to see which would be the best fit for you.
Of course, pre-paid is an option, one which everyone must make for themselves. Not everyone will be happy with a pre-paid, but if price is the deciding factor in your choice, it may be the correct choice in your case.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

16:9, Black border all the way around the video.

Using a Canon GL2 video camera I shot a short video in anamorphic 16:9. I then imported it into FCP, in the same format. Exported it and brought it into DVDSP in 16:9.
Everything looked great on my 4:3 TV. It looked like it letterboxed just fine and would project on an HD TV just fine. However, once it opened up on screen it only covered about 95% of the screen. There was a black border all the way around the video.
Anyone have an explanation for this. Better yet, a solution to correct this problem.

If you had got the settings wrong I would expect there to be large borders down the sides, as if you were watching a 4:3 channel on a 16:9 TV that is not set to zoom the image. I don't think you would describe that as 95%.
When you say open up on screen, do you mean on a computer, or on a projection screen? In either case you see the whole image, including the stuff beyond action safe, which you probably wouldn't see on a 4:3 TV or a 16:9 HDTV. Many cameras only fill 702 of the 720 pixels. If you look at the original DV file from the camera, does it fill the full width of the 720 wide image space, or does it have thin black broders?

All purchases from I tunes store in past 2 weeks do not play all the way through. They stop after 30 seconds. Downloaded latest version of itunes & didnot solve problem.

Screen orientation does not rotate all the way around after downloading be bled game

After downloading 'bebbled' game from apps store the game was displayed upside down in landscape orientation. Now all apps and home page will only orient to portrait and one side of landscape (upside down). I say upside down because the magnetic strip of the cover must now attach on the side with the switch to use it for a stand but the switch in the way. Screen orientation does not rotate from landscape to portrait to landscape, it stops at portrait and will not respond at you continue to rotate IPad.

Unusual one. Perhaps it is a bug Ian, or the accelerometer sensor is not responding correctly.
Just tested the movies app (Rotation is not locked) and turns correctly to either landscape or portrait mode in both movies and TV channels.
I flipped over the iPad in the both landscape and portrait mode and the movie correctly flipped to properly view in either mode.

Wrapping a label all the way around in photoshop 3d

hello:
i'm trying to mock up a bottle with label in photoshop CC. i was having trouble with the fact that the label was repeating when placed in the UV map. so i generated a new UV which solved the repeating problem but the new UV is so distorted that it would be impossible to create artwork to conform to it. It seems like this should be a fairly simple task to map the 3d objects surface and place artwork on it but i'm having a hell of a time.
any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Umm, no. That's why there is an eternal struggle in 3D programs for the ultimate UV unwrapping algorithm and that being so, Photoshop is clearly at the bottom of any list since it does not offer any tools for controlled UV creation and relies on an outdated Atlas algorithm. Sorry, but the straight answer is: Use a 3D program. Even a free tool like Blender has a hundred times better tools for these tasks, not to speak of some commercial programs...

Wierd window box all the way around my 16:9 footage

Hey,
Editing my feature using Final Cut Pro 5.1. When I export a sequence ot Quicktime I get this window like boarder all around. Why is this and how can I fix this? Footage is 16:9.

Check in main menu>sequence >settings that everything is set for 16:9 ratio.
What format did you shot on? What format do you choose to export? Do you see a letterbox in the canvas or full screen 16:9?

My computer does not start up all the way

When i start my computer up, it goes through all the steps, but my hard drive never loads and just the wallpaper and the spotlight show up. I have to force quit and start the computer in safe mode and then restart the computer to get it to start all the way. Is there any thing that can be done so that my computer starts right all the time the first time?

Greetings and welcome.
Try booting from the system install CD/DVD by putting the disk in the drive and starting up while holding down the c key.
After boot-up find the Disk Utility, either on the desktop or under the Apple menu. Select your startup drive and the repair permissions on that drive. See if that helps.

You have the iPhone 3GS, not the 3G. The last update to support the iPhone 3G is 4.2.1.
iOS 4.3.3 includes bug fixes etc. There is nothing really special about this update that wasn't introduced in iOS 4.3. iOS 5 is the one to wait for - it will be released in the Autumn/Fall and includes over '200' new features/improvements.
The additional text tines and ringtones were an iPhone 4-only feature.

you have to remember what stacks are for, and many people don't.
they're not designed to categorise and group images. they're designed to group images which are almost identical. for example, when I'm shooting a neighbourhood bird, I'll usually take 10 or more photos of the bird in the same setting with almost the same pose. I'm not sure which photo will have better focus or in which photo the bird's expressions will be better. once back in Aperture, I can group these near-identical photos into a stack and then rank them (I actually prefer to rank them first before stacking). the result is that I only see the best image from that set. if there are other photos in the stack that are different or that I might want to use independently, they'll have to be removed from the stack.
alternatively but not as ideal, you could view the images in Multi mode, applying ratings and keywords to the images even while they are in stacks. you could then use Smart Albums to get to specific images within stacks by turning on the 'Ignore Stacks' preference at the bottom of the filter HUD.

Having tried all the ways possible to get it working, contact your retailer again and politely tell them they did not yet satisfactorily resolve your trouble. Their Apple-Authorized Service Provider will be able to repair it.

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

HT201210 I was doing an update on my iphone and it stopped short of getting it all the way done. Now my phone is stuck with an itunes icon on the screen, and will not allow me to do anything with it. I tried shutting it down and restarting it...same icon

I tried to update my phone. The update didnt go all the way through, and ended up freezing the screen on my iphone with an itunes icon on it. I tried to reboot phone with no success...the icon stays on there with no other function of the phone available. Anybody know of a fix?

Put your iphone in dfu mode by doing this. Turn your iphone off. When its off, hold home and power button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button and keep holding home button for another 10 seconds. Then open up itunes on your pc and plug your iphone to your pc. Itunes should recognize your iphone in recovery mode and it will tell you to restore it. Click restore, and your iphone will restore. Remember that, if you do this you will lose everything that was on your iphone. You can restore from backup later on. Hope I helped.
