Trying to gift an album - says music store request could not be completed
When I push the "gift album" button for a two specificalbums I get this error message -
We could not complete your Music Store request. The server was not found. There was an error in the Music Store. Please try again later.
When I sent a request for help to ITunes they told me it had something to do with my internet connection, even though I told them that I can connect fine to ITunes and can gift plenty of other albums, just not these two specific albums I am trying to gift. Does anyone know why this is happening? Wouldn't it seem more logical that there is something wrong in the way these albums were set up in the music store? I'm not sure how I get this fixed.
It was a glitch in ITunes they eventually fixed.

A error message pops up when I try to click top singles "see all" saying "Your request could not be completed the item you've requested is not currently available in the US store" when a few minutes ago it allowed me to do so.

Trying to buy music, getting a message saying "Your request could not be completed". I am signed in correctly, can select my song. Any suggestions?

Attempting to purchase music on ITunes Store which I have done for years, now get message "your request could not be completed, make sure your computer date is correct and computer accepts cookies from ITunes Store." I have changed nothing. Of course the date and time are correct and my browser accepts cookies.
Now the apple support team won't even e-mail me back. Not even saying no. This is rediculus.

Pandora Radio no download. Says "Your request could not be completed." for original iPad
I cannot download the pandora app. I click on the "download now" button on their site when I am on my iPad, but when I get to the app store is says "Your request could not be completed." I looked for it on the app store and could not in it anywhere. Downloaded the newest OS, still nothing.
Never mind, figured it out. Because I had a Canadian apple ID, has to be American.

How do I load Citrix Receiver on my iMac? App Store search came up with zip. Tried from Citrix website, it tried to hook up with App Store snd I got this message: "your request could not be completed". Any ideas?
I see the same dialog and definitely can't locate the app on the App Store.

http://www.apple.com/za/itunes/ - Please note, iTunes Store purchases, iPod (PRODUCT) RED and Apple Online Store are not available in South Africa. Podcasts and iTunes U content are available from the UK iTunes Store.
I know S. Africa is very restricted in what content may be available, even if it is free elsewhere. Free doesn't mean it is licensed for use in a country.
If you have been trying to use the store in another country to download items you cannot. You can only use a store in your country of residence. -
After updating my iTunes to the newest I cannot access iTunes store.
When I pess the button "iTunes Store" I get the message: "Your request could not be completed. The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store." Does anybody know what's going on???I have this issue too. I sent an email and got a link to visit the community and find my answer here. I'm NOT happy with the email I got. I've been able to see my appleid and then click on Music or Movies but I cannot go to the home screen of the Store. This is obviously something they will have to do an update for. We aren't the only ones with this same issue. I've seen more than one question/subject about this same thing.

I am using a portable USB storage drive connected to my laptop. I am trying to delete a file from the USB drive but it is not working. A pop up window appears that says "Sorry the operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occured (Error code -61)". What does that mean and how do I fix it? Thank you.
All I can tell you is that is a write permissions error. How is this drive formatted? Check the file's permissions. You can try:
Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder. At the prompt enter:
sudo rm -rf
Leave a space after "-rf" and drag the file into the Terminal window. Press RETURN. You will be prompted to enter your admin password which will not be echoed. -

App Store Featured "Your request could not be completed"
My iPad cannot load the 'Featured' tab in the App Store (for the last week Dec 9, 2011). I have an iPad and an iPod Touch (both latest generation with latest iOS). The iPod works perfectly. I have read many posts about "Your request could not be completed" but most of them are old and have problems/solutions that I have ruled out.
I have tried restarting my WiFi, restarting the iPad (even cold boot).
SOLUTION (just fixed it while I was writing this)
I signed out of my US account and signed in to my Australian account. Then it worked. It also worked when I signed back in to my US account.
If you have this problem, all I can suggest is sign out and sign in.Same here (US). iPad 2 App Store "Featured"... Same error. Happened immediately after I switched between two different accounts (UK account back to a US account) so was initially concerned Apple had done something to prevent country switching but all other pages are fine. Hopefully then, as I'm not alone, this is a server side problem.

I am trying to download the apple trailers app with no success.
When I search the App Store for 'apple trailers' it's retrieves no results, and when I try the link in the Apple trailers website it fails and gives me the same message (your request could not be completed)

App store not finding an app, "Your request could not be completed."
There are a number of websites that direct you to the app store, but once there a message appears "Your request could not be completed." most recently, this happened with Pandora. I tried searching the app store and still couldn't find the app. Any suggestions?
I'm running Pandora from my iPad right now so I know the app is available from the App Store..
Tap the App Store icon (not iTunes)
Select Categories at the bottom of the screen then type pandora radio in the search field top right corner of the window. -
