Trying to import a CD but Gracenote not working.Itunes will not get cd info

When I put in an "original" cd, it shows as an audio cd in the sources, then pulls up tracks but will not pull up any cd info. I tried to "get info" and the gracenote box appeared for just a couple seconds and then nothing. I dont get an error - just nothing.
I use McAfee anti virus and firewall. itunes is listed in my allowed list for firewall.
I connect to the internet via verizon broadband wireless
When I click the get info, I can see the verizon internet is working.
I have tried several cd's and itunes will not find the track or album titles for any of them.

I've solved the problem! My verizon broadband program has something called "Venturi" on it. Venturi compresses data so pages are supposed to load faster. I disabled this funtion (when you clik open the broadband program instead of connecting right to the internet I found a preferences or tools section & within that was a tab for Venturi. I unchecked the box that said to use Venturi). Now as soon as I put a disc in itunes grabs the info without any prompting.
I closed my internet connection and tried to reopen but it didnt load, so I re checked the venturi and it loaded. I'll play with that again when I get home. Instead of rechecking the venturi maybe I could have just refreshed the page. I dont know. Either way, as long as Venturi is disabled while using itunes everything works great!

Mac Book Software Update not working (Software Update does not have any new software for your computer at this time), my current MacBook version is 10.5.8.
As a result I can't update iTunes, version 10.5.2 (This software requiers Mac OS X version 10.6.8 or later)
Now when I connect my iPhone 4, version iOS 6 iTunes can't connect to iPhone (The iPhone "XXXXX's iPhone" cannot be used because it requiers iTunes version 10.6.3 or later.)
so in a nutshell can't use iphone 4, because iTune is not updated and will not update because Mac Book is not up to date and will not update either.

Snow Leopard is a paid upgrade. http://support.apple.com/kb/sp575 Call Apple to buy Snow Leopard. Then, make a backup, insert the DVD and upgrade. When it finishes, open  > Software Update

Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

What is the source of the non-syncing songs? What is the format? Is it different from the songs that do sync?

Yeah me too try going through the apple website in (firefox) and download iTunes there. Currently that's what I'm doing.

Tried to backup ibooks to PC using iTools, now iTunes will not open the backup folder and my iPad says that it's storage is almost full

It appears that iTools has backed up on the iPad as well, I tried manage storage from settings but all storage settings are not enabled. I downloaded iTools on my PC and pressed the backup on iBooks in applications, it created a folder on my PC that iTunes on the PC cannot read. I stopped what was called backing up to local when I got a message from the iPad saying that storage was almost full.
So how do I 1- repair the iPad storage
2- backup the books in IBooks to my PC (they used to backup easily with iTunes but after the last update of iTunes they just would not)

Can you check something for me please?
Restart your PC. after the PC restarts, bring up your Task manager, and go to the "Processes" tab. Click "Image name" to sort the processes alphabetically.
Now try to launch iTunes.
Does an itunes.exe process appear? If so, does it vanish after a second or so, or does it persist in the Processes tab (even though iTunes itself never shows up)?

ITunes not working, music will not play, volume not responding...

For the past few days i have not been able to get my iTunes to play music. I can open the program and move around ok, even select a playlist. But when I hit play the song comes up.. but it will not play. I am also not getting any sound. Have tried to re-set the volume with the keyboard keys above the number pad.. but I am only getting the little shaded box with a blocked icon (little circle with backslash through it.) I can not turn on the volume, I can not get any music to play.. I have tried restarting as well as re-installing iTunes.. and nothing is working. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

try these troubleshooting steps:

if no joy, try booting into _*safe mode*_, then reboot normally.

I-pod not working computer will not recognize it

Last night my I-pod froze I couldn't get it to do anything. After my computer started acting up so I restored it. Now I got my I-pod un froze but all my music is gone? I can't get my computer to recognize it, and it will not download drivers cause it says that the divice is not work properly. It a 4th gen nano I hardly use it.

Home link in upper left corner of Desktop Facebook site does NOT work. Will not go to Newsfeed

Pressing the "Facebook" logo in top left corner will not work most of the time. The newsfeed does work..but let me explain this a little better. Say, I'm on a friends facebook page using the full site...I want to go to my newsfeed so I click the "Facebook" logo in the left hand corner next to the notification icons....poof....nothing happens, except, I notice the little padlock on the left side of the address bar disappear. I can let it sit and it will never do anything. If I press the facebook logo about 15 times, then it will finally load the newsfeed. It seems like some kind of issue going from secured to unsecured pages. It does not do this when I am in one of my groups though...odd. I have always had to use the addeess bar to go back to the newsfeed . This problem has existed through many versions of Firefox. No other browser does this.

I Pod mini not working, it will not sync

I have a I Pod mini 2nd generation. I went to sync more music on to it and it when I auto filled it does not work and I have done the diagnostics. I get this message from I Tunes. I cannot add any songs to my I Pod because no songs will copy to this my I Pod? I have done the diagnostics and here are the results. Any help here? thanks.

Torch is not working I need to get my info from BB Protect

My Torch just stopped working and I just got an iPhone. I need to get my info that is stored on BB Protect and download my pics, etc. into my PC or my new iPhone. How can I do this? I have a lot of work stuff in there and I am desperate!
