Trying to install a trial and all I get is Adobe Air agreement
I am trying to install a trial version of Flash CS5.5 and when I click the download button it brings up the adobe air agreement. I click I agree and thats it. I dont get asked to sign in or anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the download assistant numerous times and nothing is still happening. I even tried a different trial and the same results. I downloaded a different trial just a couple days ago and had no issues. I noticed that the trial site was down earlier today, are there problems that could be being caused by whatever the issue was there? I am buying a suite on the first, but need this trial to get through the next two weeks of my flash class. Any help would be great. I have Windows 7.

Is the credit card billing address in the same country as the iTunes/App store you are trying to use? It has to be. -
The telescope instruction says open a Terminal and put in ls/dev/* and other such things and all I get back is that none of them are recognised.
JeffersEWhy don't you call the telescope company for support and let them explain it to you. Usually there is software involved with those types of telescopes and if that software doesn't support Mac, it won't matter how or what USB port you plug it into because no drivers or anything will load for it.

When trying to install io5 on my iphone4 I get an error message during the updtae that there is a problem with backup and if I continue with the update, all the data will be deleted from my phone. I'm trying to install a trial version of LiveCycle Designer ES4, and have encountered a required serial number field. No serial number in any of the provided documentation, as it's only a trial. How do I get past this to download the trial?

I tried to install yosemite yesterday and my computer goes through the whole installation process and then to a blank white screen. I've rebooted, I've reinstalled several times and get the same result. Two days wasted and I can't use my computer!!
I don't know if you've already resolved your problem, but I had the same thing, it took me 6 hours to fix it. I had the exact same as you, installed the update and then it went to a white screen. After trying start up holding down cmmd r or holding down the alt key to try to install it again, nothing worked, same result every time. Then an angel came to me here somewhere but I can't find it now to thank him. Start in safe mode, press shift once you hear the start up chime and hold it down until you hear it again. Installation completion box came up and it was working. turn off computer and start up again normally and all is well. Except my final cut pro x doesn't work with it, have to update that now too. same as when I updated to mavericks.

Itunes was working fine. Tried to install latest upgrade and get error message about an invalid character in the path "Program Files (x86)". PC, Win7, nothing else appears to be having same issue. Program still works, simply cannor upgrade.

I tried this solution without success. After FixIt ran and didn't find a problem, either in looking for issues with "software upgrade" or "iTunes" it kindly offered to help me uninstall iTunes. I had thought of this as a possibilty but it seems to me that if you do that you lose a lot of "non-native-to-Apple" information you might have entered. I did this once and recovery was painfull. Is there a way to uninstall iTunes without losing all of that sort of thing? Any help would be appreciated. -

You have a Retina MacBook Pro, it runs OS X 10.7 or 10.8.
It won't run Snow Leopard (10.6) and Rosetta is only for Snow Leopard to run older PowerPC processor based programs when Mac's used to have those instead of the Intel processors they all have now.
So that software your installing is incredibly old, if you bought it, return it for a refund.
Also you don't need a anti-virus for OS X, Apple installed one for all OS X 10.6.8-10.8 users.
If you need anti-virus to clean the Windows files of their malware before passing it on, then the free ClamXav does the job.
