Trying to install icloud - all apps and videos erased
I have an ipad 1. I upgraded itunes so i could try icloud but now have none of the apps i have bought. No tv shows or movies either - through itunes account, can i get them back on?
As long as the apps are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free. TV shows can be re-downloaded in some countries, but films can currently only be re-downloaded in the US : re-downloading. Have you not got a copy of your purchases on your computer's iTunes and/or on a backup ?

Just tried to install a new app and was told that I needed to "Agree to new Terms & Conditions". When I hit OK, it brings me to a blank screen, so I can't accept them. What am I supposed to do?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

I have unlocked my iPhone 3G with Vodafone via iTunes, but now the downloaded apps crash immediately when opened. I've tried a Restore, but this didn't help. I've also tried removing all apps and re-installing them, but they still don't work. Any ideas? Thanks.
yep, unfortunately can't reset without the passcode either.
With regards to doing a restore, do you mean:
open itunes on my computer
click on my device on the left
go to the device summary
click restore
it then asks if i want to back up before i restore (to which i say no)
then it asks me if i'm sure I want to restore to factory settings and that all of me media and data will be erased and replaced with the newest version ( to which I say yes)
then it takes about 90 mins to do this but when I look at my phone, everything is exactly the same.
Am I missing something? Obviously I'm technologically challenged, but I HAVE to get to the bottom of this! -
I tried to install icloud on my windows 8 touch PC and it stops at the end and says Error? Any Ideas what is wrong?

Since 8th May , after updating the iphone software to 5.1.1 I am not able to synchronize my iPhone with iTunes. Have tried removing previous back up datas , removed all photos and videos on iPhone , switched on and of and reset iPhone a million times , restarted my Mac a thousand times Please Help !!!
I have tried both options .. back up on this computer and also back up on icloud.
The backingup is fine .. there is no problem .. even synchronizing songs , applications , calender , mail accounts is fine .. only the contacs are not synchronizing. The itune goes on and on .. showing synchronizing contacs .. but nothing happens. When i uncheck contacts synchronisation .. everything works fine . I have also reorganized my address book . but it does not help -
I am running Windows 7 and have tried to install iCloud. No matter what instructions I follow, I still get the error message "This Apple ID is valed but is not an iCloud account." How can I resolved this?
I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. Hi. My husband and I have always shared the same iTunes account. Since installing iCloud, all our contacts and calenders have merged on our iPhone 4, which we do not want. How do I rectify this? Does my husband need to set up his own apple ID? If so, where do I need to change his email address info, so that his calender and contacts remain his? Thank you
You can continue to use the current AppleID for iTunes, but your husband can create a new AppleID to use to create a new iCloud account that will be his own and not overlap with yours. If you do not have another email address to use for an AppleID, just get a free Gmail account and use that.
You can have as many AppleIDs as you want (or at least, as many as you have email addresses for). You can use a separate AppleID for the store, another for iCloud, and even another for iMessage if you wish.
You will want to keep the current one as the shared one for the store as all your previous purchases are permanently tied to it, and thus you need that AppleID to update or redownload your current purchased content. -
I'm trying to install iCloud on my PC running Windows Vista with Service Pack 2 and I get a message that the set up program is not a valid win32 file. Can anyone help me with this?

?I'm trying to download a free app and I keep getting a message that says; "Payment Type paypal is not supported on this device blah blah go to the iTunes Store on your computer. You must verify your payment info before you can make purchases. I did all that, updated payment info and checked paypal it is verified, and it still won't work. Im stumped

Hi, I am trying to install 4 Adobe apps onto a new iMac but Apps in Creative Cloud doesn't list any apps but says there is a download error and to contact customer support.
I can sign in fine with my username and password.

I have tried to install icloud 4.0 for windows and again is does not allow syncing with outlook 2013 calendar and contact, using windows 8.1 and IOS 8.02 (get - unexpected error)?
Having same issues. had been syncing every few days with outlook 2007 contacts and calendar but since updated to 4.0.2 and latest itunes I get an error that it is unable to sync. I can't seem to find any solution.

I have a problem with download a new app. While I bought iphone5, I take iphone to shopkeeper for download some app and videos that he used his Apple ID . That's t problem now.. Not all the time his ID is appearing but some times his Apple ID is appearing that time I can't download app, videos, songs.. So please guide me to remove that ID or how to solve that..

BabuCheck Settings/iTunes and AppStore/AppleID and make sure that your AppleID is filled in. If not , sign out and sign in with the correct info.
To make sure that no other apps or videos are on your device than the one you bought, set it up as new device, explained here: How to back up your data and set up as a new device
Content that is not bought with your ID can't be used on your phone, that's why his ID and password is asked when you try to use those apps downloaded in the store.
