Trying to install LabVIEW and getting error 1935

I am trying to install LabVIEW on my computer and I am getting the following error:
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.MSXML2R, processorArchitecture="x86",type="win32"...
Please refer to Help and support for more information. HREULT: 0x80070002.
I have the option to continue installation, but at the end it fails anyways.
Thanks for your help.

If it is the same as shown in my previous reply, this is what NI recommends:
"Solution: This error during installation is commonly caused by restrictions placed on your system by spyware blocking software such as Ad-Aware, etc. Turn off any spyware blocking software and try the installation again."

    Hi wdriver,
    It seems like due to some unknown reason permission from the Licensing folder is removed. Please try launching any of the apps by right clicking and select Run as an Administrator, it should fix the issue by doing that.
    Please let us know if it helps.

    HELP!!!
    I am trying to install iTunes on my Windows 7 laptop and get this error:
    "The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be configured   Errors occurred during installation. Your system has not been modified"
    Arghhhhh!! I've tried different browsers and various other things suggested on other posts to no avail

    Ok people, I think I have found the solution !
    If you click on the start button from your desktop screen.
    Then in the "search programs and files" field type : apple software update - you can find the apple installer.
    Click on the apple software update line and let the machine run it's course. I recommend updating whatever it wants to , ie: safari 5, quicktime, itunes....
    I then restarted my computer and it seems to be working now !
    Good luck everyone !

  • On installing labview I get "error 1638 occurred..."

    Hi I am trying to reinstall labview 6.1 on my PC after a hard disk crash. I get kicked out with the message "Error 1639 occurred while installing LabView 6.1". The machine is running Win2000 Professional.
    I don't find any info as to what this eror message might mean. Any suggestions?
    ...Thanks in advance, Peter Grigg

    Peter;
    Since you had installed the same copy of Labview before, the CD is probably in good shape.
    Things you can try:
    - Double check if you are logged on with administrator privilegies. If you are not, try to install Labview from an administrator account
    - There was a problem with the Labview installer that is reported as fixed, that stated that error 1639 would show up if one tries to type double quotes (") in the Organization Field during the install. Double check if you are doing that
    Other than those two, you can try to install the same copy on a different machine to see if the same error shows. If it doesn't, there is something wrong with the installation of the OS on the machine that is giving you the error.
    Hope this helps.

  • Trying to restore bookmarks and get error msg windows can't open places.sqlite file. also get same message when trying to open json files for prev sessions.

    Ibelieve remote user deleted cache and now I have no bookmarks. I have tried to reset firefox and was unable to do so. I tried to restore bookmarks through the places sqlite file and windows cannot open the file. I went to old firefox file on desktop and tried to open a previous version of bookmarks and windows could not open file. I still have bookmark toolbar and a lot of my categories bookmarks but they are all empty. My plugins are still there Can you tell me where to direct windows to open sqlite of json files?

    To experiment more safely, could you create a new Firefox profile? The new profile will have your system-installed plugins (e.g., Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions, or other customizations. It also should have completely fresh settings databases and a fresh cache folder. If we get your bookmarks into the new profile successfully, you can create a backup and restore it in your regular profile.
    Exit Firefox and start up in the Profile Manager using Start > search box (or Run):
    firefox.exe -P
    Any time you want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog.
    Please do not delete anything in this dialog.
    Click the Create Profile button, choose a name like TESTING, and skip the option to choose a folder. Then start Firefox in the new profile you created.
    If you have backups in the JSON format (e.g., bookmarks-2014...json) try to restore one to this TESTING profile. This article has the steps (you will need to use Choose File... to get to the backup):
    [[Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer]]
    Does that work and give you complete results?
    If not, the next thing I would try is to drop in the places.sqlite file you have and see whether Firefox can read it properly.
    First, open up a Windows Explorer window to this new profile folder. You can do that using either
    * "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
    * Help menu > Troubleshooting Information
    In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button
    Got the list of files? Okay, leaving that window open, switch back over to Firefox and Exit the browser, using either:
    * "3-bar" menu button > "power" button
    * File menu > Exit
    Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup -- you will see the timestamps update in the profile folder, then rename '''places.sqlite''' to something like places.old and drop in the places.sqlite file you want to test.
    Start Firefox back up again. Bookmarks?

    trying to publish movies from imovies.  I keep getting error messages (-50) or (-34). don't know what it means.  also when I put in a dvd to burn it tells me "not enough space". Movies are less than an hour.  why?  I recently was able to burn one for 1hour and 3 min now I can't burn anything?  confused...help

    The not enough space message refers to file size. Even though the movie may be short, perhaps for some reason it has a large file size.

  • Computer crash. Trying to install updates and get this error ""This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another" when you enter a serial number in the Serial Number Upgrade screen."

    My computer crashed.  Ugh.  I downloaded Photoshop CS3 (my first full version) and when I tried to upgrade ( I have upgrades to CS6) I get an error message.  I remember having to call Adobe for help when I purchased CS4 but can't find a number to call them.  I keep getting directed to help screens which are no help.
    Any solutions?  Is there a "generic" serial number I can enter to get my upgrades installed?
    I have a photoshoot that I need to edit asap.  I really don't  want to have to go back to CS3 version.
    Thank you to anyone who can help!

    Doglovr1 you will want to locate the qualifying full version serial number which qualifies you to upgrade to CS6.  I did review your account and the only full version serial number was for an education version of Photoshop Lightroom.
    I would recommend contacting our support team directly at Contact Customer Care to see if the qualifying full version serial number can be found.  Also I would recommend referencing case 0181578817 which is your previous case from 2010.

    Hi.
    I think that you should install everything -- just in case.
    Also, you can try to compile a simple C program ("Hello World!" maybe) to see if everything works as expected.
