am using iphone 4s. but when trying to sign in icloud the message appears says" my connection appears to be offline "while am using 3G dont know why

Keep getting the same message for a couple hours now on my iPhone 4S, after updating to iOS 7. No problem with iPad running an iOS 6.1.3 and no problem loggin in to Find My iPhone on both devices. Looks like the problem is not with iCloud

Try rebooting the iPad as well. You might be getting an inaccurate reading and rebooting might clear that up.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Sorry, I was gone for a while. The reason I asked is that many employers will push a restriction to the phone to prevent it from backing up to iCloud.
The only time I've seen this before it was the result of a server issue at Apple's end, and would normally clear up on it's own in 3-5 days. If you can't wait, you'll probably have to contact Apple support for help with this: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/.

When I try to set up iCloud I get a message to covert my MobileMe account over to iCloud. The message says I must do this from my computer but from there I'm lost.

When I try to set up my iCloud from the settings menu I get a message to go to me.com my computer to move my MobileMe information to iCloud.
When do as it says there are no instructions on MobileMe on how to do this.
Any one else have this issue and how did you fix the problem?

The only messages I'm aware of are the ones that say that you can't move to iCloud right now because servers are too busy and that you can continue using MobileMe. I'd try to go back to iClound in your Settings and give it another try.

My system preferences has only Mobile Me not icloud but the software says all up to date. How can i get mobile me on the computer. Thanks

What version of OS X are you running? Go to the Apple menu>About this Mac and it will give the version number.
iCloud is available on Lion 10.7.2 or higher.

I got an ipad 2 today. Already have an ipad 1 and gateway laptop. Have wireless internet with windstream. I have internet connection on ipad 1 and laptop, but can't connect to internet on ipad2. It says i'm connected, but when accessing Safari, it says not connected to internet. Tried unplugging router and resetting already, still not working. Thanks for the help.

I did try turning off the firewall, and reducing all the security levels to a minimum (under Control Panel>Internet Options). Also, I'm using a direct cable from my m/c to the Airport Extreme. But nothing helps. Due to the usage pattern in my family, using the MacBook for configuring the network is not optimal, hence my struggle to do it on my Windows desktop. But if that is the only way to go I suppose I'll have to.
Subsequent to posting my query, I discovered that Apple had not singled me out, and many others with a Win OS face this problem, too. I would have thought Apple would do a proper job of testing before putting up the Windows version of Airport Utlity on their site.
