Trying to login to my online banking and I'm receiving Cookies are Invalid or Disabled... any ideas?
I've tried clearing them already and it worked temporarly, but now it is giving me the error again
Did you quit Safari completely and then clear Safari and then restart the iPad?
In order to quit Safari completely......
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps.
Clear Safari ....
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data.
Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Then go to Settings>Safari>Accept Cookies>From Visited. And then try again.

apparently on that thread it was the bank at fault
Also ensure Safari/Preferences/Security all boxes are checked
try another browser
Unless the bank is using adobe
then unistall adobe using unistaller
and re download latest version

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like you have no service on the iPhone. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. There is one step you did not mention trying that i think is worth trying.
If you see No Service in the status bar of your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Remove the SIM card. If the SIM card is damaged, worn, or bent, or if it's too big or small for the SIM tray, contact your carrier for a new one. Then reinsert the SIM card.

I have tried to restore my old iPhone 3, but when i tried the itunes logo and a pic of a USB cable have come up on my phone and now i cant do anything with my phone.Any ideas how i can fix this? I've tried to restore my back up and it didn't work. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can actually restore everything I have lost. What's the point in only being able to use one iTunes media player to put music on your device? I mean seriously?! Surely I can get my data back?
As always, iphone will sync with one comptuer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.
The backup that itunes performs does not include any itunes content. You should keep everything on your computer and should always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
You should copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

I disabled my iPhone 4 and while doing a restore via iTunes, it is downloading and timing out so the download is not completing. any idea how to get past that? I have tried many times and the same error keeps happening.

from the menu bar, then select the frozen application from the list and press return. As a last resort, force a shutdown by holding down the power button for a few seconds. Then press it again briefly to start up. Test. -
The number of contacts on my Macbook,iPhone and iCloud are all different. So when i tried to import contacts which i thick are called vCards from my address book on to my iCloud through the options menu on icloud a message came up saying "invalid vCards"? Any ideas? Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.

I just downloaded a lot of PDF textbooks to my ibooks, and now it crashes within seconds of opening the app. I have tried restoring the iPad and just updated the iBooks to 3.1. Any ideas? I have the new iPad.

My ipad 2 will not connect to the internet I've tried to manually enter it but its not recognising it or finding any connections. I've reset it to factory settings twice and its not clearing it. Does anyone have any ideas??
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps.
