Trying to make a simple background color change.

I double clicked the foreground/background black and white squares as usual. This brought up the color selector and I changed to the color I wanted. When I clicked ok the foreground color changed to a medium gray instead of the color I had selected?

Are you in Greyscale mode by any chance? Image > Mode > Select RGB.

Numeric Control - Text and Background Color changes when operating inc/dec arrows

Hi,
I'm developing an application that has a panel with black background and green or red numbers. I've added numeric controls and configured the text color and text background color attributes accordinglingy. I set the numeric control to hot or validate control mode and show the inc/dec arrows, since I want to be able to incr/decr the numbers.
The problem is that when I run the application and I hit the inc/dec arrows, then the colors inside the numeric control frame become inverted: the black background becomes white and the green number becomes cyan. I've created a callback function assosicated with the numeric control and tried forcing the text and background color, in the EVENT_VAL_CHANGED section, using the SetCtrlAttrribute() function, but to no avail. Also added ProcessDrawEvents didn't help.
When I mouse click again outside the numeric control, then it reverts back to its original colors (green text, black background).
Any suggestions as to how I can fix this ?
I want it to keep its original colors at all times, even when I'm clicking the incr/decr arrows...

Ok, now I see what's happening.
The effect you are seeing is a resul of standard numeric control behaviour combined with the black bcakground: when you use arrows to increment/decrement a numeric control its value will be automatically highlighted; on the default background you'll see the white area and figures highlighted in black (white numbers on balck background). If you set the background to black the system will automatically change the colors used to highlight the text, and that's what you're seeing.
By the way, this does not happens if you use up and down keys on the keyboard: text is not highlighted so colors are not changing.
Additionally, this is not only valid for numerics: see the behaviour of the string controls on the bottom of your panel when you tab up to them. This effect does not happen on controls set as indicator like the big clock in the upper part of the panel.
The only way I can see to overcome this behaviour is to hide control built-in arrows and create your own up and down buttons with which you can manipulate the numeric control. I am attaching a modified version of your project with buttons on the left numeric; sorry for the poor aesthetic: I have used some arrow icons I had on my disk, you may want to create your own arrows with the colors and shape you prefer.

I find that if you have multiple 3d object they must be merged into a single 3d layer their positions reset to align to the same axises then sized and positioned along them. I type =25% on my email and sent out, background color changed from white to yellow and =25% changed to %%.

Try leaving a space after the =

Where and when did it change? Did it change inside Thunderbird? Did it change in the Sent folder? Or in a reply to you?
= and % are used in certain types of email encoding; =20% often appears, meaning character 0x20 which is 32 denary or the space character. It is often used where an explicit space would be illegal, and this is common in URLs and other links. I'm thinking that =25% similarly has a special meaning. It ''shouldn't'' get decoded, but software is buggy.
I can't reproduce it here, which is why I'm asking about how and when it changes. Where does the Microsoft software come into it?

When system is in a sleep mode or hibernate mode, it will save the data ans settings in memory or hard disk, so I suggest you run a memory check and a harddisk check and see if it can detect any errors.

Sequence Background Color Change

I kind of doubt this is possible, but you never know. Is it possible to change the gray background color of the timeline Sequence?
We need to make it extremely obvious what sequence our editors are using. We have several Sequences with specific codecs that are used for different purposes and we need to make it obvious beyond a doubt what Sequence they are working on. Unfortunately we can not use Compressor to make this change in our workflow. We are trying to make this workflow as simple as possible, and this is one consideration we are looking into.

I'm guessing this is an educational institution? If not, I agree with the above statements about not hiring editors who need different colored timelines. But if you ARE in the business of teaching, then consider this as part of the lesson. You can't teach someone how to be an editor without teaching them the things that editors have to know.
But the real answer of your question is, no. You can't have FCP automatically set your timeline to a certain color, even by using the label feature, on the bias of the sequence settings. Even if you use the label feature, you would still have to manually label each and every sequence that was created.
Teach your editors well. Their producer's **** will slowly go by.

Axis Legend Background Color Change?

Is it possible to change the background color for the axis legend text? Numbers displays the chart (in this case a line chart) on the spreadsheet with the x and y legend values on a transparent background. The transparency makes the values very difficult to see, and I'm hoping there's some way to change the background or fill of the legend area to plain old white. Or even better, just change the background of the entire chart to white. Darned if I can figure out how to do such a simple thing, though.

insert a rectangular rectangle whose stroke and background are white and put it behind the chart

Background color change question - only selecting the footer

I use the darkroom theme and was curious about changing the page background color. Right now my settings use the darkroom theme 'right out of the box' which is 'image fill' on both the page and browser background. That is the textured look.
When I try to change the color, selecting 'color fill' instead of 'image fill', it only changes the footer - not the entire page background.
I'm guessing it's not possible to change a color using the 'image fill.' You get 'image fill' in black or gray as shown and that is it, except should you decide to use your own image, which I do not.
Any way to be able to have a change apply to the entire page and not just the footer?
Suggestions welcome.

I tried to do the same just see what the problem was and failed. It is probably 'cos the top layer is independant of the page background or browser background. Even when I had page background none and altered the browser background it made no difference. If you want anything different try using a blank black or white theme and putting your own graphics on there. You can make quite nice backgrounds if you have a decent paint or photo program.

IDVD Slideshow Background color change

I am working on a project where i have a slideshow that i want to have on my DVD. I have looked at all of the settings for iDVD and i have not see how to change the black default color of the background for the slideshow images. I would like to make it white vs black. I tried to make a slideshow in iPhoto and the some situation is there, no preference to change the slideshow's bg color. Is there anyone that had or knows how to change this preference. Thanks

Background color changes when using AJAX

I'm using NetBeans and the plugin Project Dynamic Faces Ajax Components. Each time a radio button is selected a few textfields are hidden/shown.
But each time I press a radio button, my background color of my JSF page is changed (from blue) back to white.
Does anyone know how to disable this, or just how I can set the background of the page manualy in the java code.
I've tried this.setBackground(...); , but it doesn't work.

Hi. I currently use Canon, and i only see it in my RAW files. All camera firmware is up-to-date. I am running latest version of Aperture, but still running 10.6.8. I went through a bunch of old photos where there was a good red color of something and i was able to duplicate the problem each time. Where there was a large area of red, it was VERY noticable. Also, I used to shoot with Nikon and my NEF files do the same thing where there is a nice red. It seems to be an Aperature "thing."
What i find so curious, is that even if I make no adjustments to the Levels sliders, just checking the box alters the color, same with the Vignette brick. Also, I do color calibrate my monitor. thanks.

Webpage background color changed without me changing it.

The background color on my webpage changed and I dont think I did anything to the code. I have tried several things to fix it but its stays gray. It was a maroon color (#660000). I have tried moving the <body bgcolor="#660000"> before and after the closing head tag, and changing the number for a new color. Nothing works. What is it Im missing?

Random point and shoot rarely helps with web pages. It just leads to invalid code and web pages which don't work.

Needs a little cleanup. Help yourself by learning a little HTML and CSS.
I suspect you've created a background color in the CSS file for your contact form and, by adding a link to that CSS file in your home page and moving the body tag to make it invalid, you've inadvertently overridden the BG color on the home page.
As a starting point, in the HTML file of the home page

Background color change of a column in Advance table

Hi,
We have requirement to change the background color of column in advance table based on some condition. We tried putting code to change background color in Custom.xss using background-color property and setting newly created css dynamically based on condition but it seems it only changes the background color of text not the complete cell. We want to change the color of complete cell in an advance table.
Please let me know if there is any other way I can achieve this requirement. Any help would be highly appreciated.

I am changing the lightblue background (#F5F7F9) of the portal by downloading the theme
and the unzip the portal.zip and then the default.properties:

Change the values to the required background color.

WorkOrderList TileView Row & Selected Row Background Color Change

     can we change the background color of WorkorderList TileView Row & Selected Row Background color ?. Actually i am trying to change the color of both in WorkOrderList but it not reflecting any color on my Agentry client. I used a style on Tile List View Data/Style.
but these applied style on Rows & Selected Rows are not working in Agentry client.
if any other alternate solution exist in Agentry, please guide me.

      Yes using Image we can achieve that goal but i want to use a background color instead of Image background. Finally I used a background color on label and set the that label field on Screen. And It's showing the background color on WorkOrderList Row & Selected Row that what i wanted. But on both Row & Selected TileView Screen showing white outline that i don't want and also i could not remove the default Selected Blue Background Color.
     Please guide me how to remove white outline and default Blue Selected Background color.
