Trying to make or receive a call and there is constant buzzing sound in background.
I reset the phone.
I updated network setting on Verizon.
I can play music with no trouble.
Speaker mode works on phone.

Did you use the latest backup after setting it up "as new device"? If yes, try again, this time without using the backup, maybe it contains damaged data causing your problem.
If this does not bring any change, you should get it serviced.

Could mean that you have three different contact entries with the same phone number.

I checked with my colleagues in the office who use the same network and theirs work just fine on iOS7. Any idea how to fix the problem?

I have also called my service provider and my service remains active in the network. I tried removing and reinserting my SIM but to no avail.

I have an older iPad that we use at my office for Pandora. Whoa whoa no need to go restoring stuff yet, once you've done that check to verify you have done what Overlook2011 IF that doesn't work for calendars ensure your default account for calendars is set to iCloud and in calendars that it is told to "Show all calendars"

You should ask your relative to physically take the iPhone to the store rather than shipping it because as diesel vdub has said:
"No Apple store will accept an iPhone shipped to them"
All you have to do is safely pack and ship your iPhone from the Philppines to your California-based relative.

Yes this is fairly normal. When you have wifi on the phone, it drains the battery life of the device.

I didn't lose any calendar since it was all on the computer in Outlook calendar

iPad are not telelphones. They do not receive calls nor do they receive or send SMS messages.
