I have a website that I would like to make sub pages for.

Can I make sub pages in iweb? How can I do that?

You need to select some text or an object in order to make the enable hyperlink to become available.
You can create a hyperlink to your payment page by adding some text (something like "Click here to order" or whatever), selecting the text and go to the link pane and select the Link to External page. Then put http://www.LASTARBABIES.com/payment into the URL window. Then you can format the link color and rollover color in the Format section of the link pane.
The resulting link would look something like this: Click here to order". You can set the page to open in a new window or not.

You can do this using a meta refresh but the problem is you have to add it to the html file for the page very time you publish changes.
A better way is to create a splash page and upload it to the server outside of the folder produced by iWeb. Example HERE.
The meta refresh is added to the head section of the html file...

I just learnt to use Adobe Illustrator , the basics anyway. I am able to manipulate the size of the logo to almost scale in Illustrator. However, when I save the logo in JPEG/PNG for the web its always coming out smaller than i would like it to and i cant seem to get it to the size i want. Plz help me.

You can set the exact pixel x pixel size in the Image Size window (the tab in the middle, after the Colors Table window).
Normally, the W(idth) and H(eight) values are interlocked to ensure proportionate scaling, but they can be set individually if you untick onstrain proportions.
The pixel x pixel size is the actual size of the image, and together with the resolution it determines the size on screen, in print, or whatever.
Presuming your logo is vector artwork, you can set it to any scale before you Save for Web. If you choose the same size in points/pixels ((ruler) unit) as the final raster image, there should be no need to change the Image Size.

I’ve coded a 3 column UIPickerView into my app, and it works great. However I’d like to add a “Submit” button and connect it to my pickerview, so that once a user makes their selections and clicks “Submit,” the app searches an existing array for the user’s selected values.

Im not sure what garage band is, but i can tell you the way apple recommends making ringtones. Highlight a song in iTunes, right click and select get info. Goto the options tab and youll see the time lengths (write down the ending time) for the start time type in where you want the ringtone to start, ringtones can only be 30 sec long so make the ending time 30 sec later. Exit it out of the info and while song highlighted goto the "advanced" tab at the top of iTunes where you will see an option that says "create aac version". after creating the aac version you will have a duplicate song in your iTunes, change the original back to the correct time length. Take the 30 sec aac version and drag it to your desktop, right click the icon and click "preferences" You will then be able to change the name of the file which will be somethign to the effect of "songnamehere.m4a" you just change the m4a to m4r. you now have a ringtone, drag the new file to iTunes where it will pop up in a new tab labled ringtones. If you cannot change the name of the file when it is on your desktop let me know and i will give you instuctions how to be able to change it. Once you get it figured out you can use any song you have on iTunes to make a ringtone.

depends on how old your Mac is ...
newer machines do not come along with a pre-installed iDVD (.. and iWeb ..) anymore; you have to purchase a boxed version of iLife11.
if somehow iDVD is installed on your Mac, you should find it in your Apps-folder
(or use Spotlight, search for iDVD) ...-

How to make multiple repeating pages for XML child nodes

I have a schema that has many levels, and I am trying to have some of the child data print on separate pages.

For the time being, I can only respond to Pages for iOS. OS X I'll need to check when I get home (or perhaps someone else will beat me to it). You may wish to post in the Pages for Mac forum for better exposure.
In Pages for iOS you are limited to a single header and footer. There is no Section structure so no way to do different headers/Footers for different pages (as you can do in MS word for example). To modify the Header and insert the text you want: Tap the Tools icon (wrench in upper right), then Document Set up. Tap in the header field, then tap and hold to use the menu to insert pages numbers, then type the text you need.
Quite possibly. Check the app store. Or you may be able to set this up in Pages for OS X and import it into Pages on the iPad. I'm not certain the sections will import however.
Also consider using a different app, such as word for iOS or any of the numerous other word processing apps available.

Sub pages for video?

Can I create sub pages of videos in the same way as sub pages with photopages can be created.
What I want to achieve is a Video Gallery with links to various videos.

You have to do by hand. But at least you can still use the photo template. Just make each video have a screengrab. Then drag all the screengrabs to the photo page just like normal. After you do that, you need to make the links by making transparent squares that cover up each screengrab. Just make the squares and then change the trasparentcy to 1%. Then put the link to each video page on it. I don't know why you have to do it this way, but it works.

Where is the "On My Mac" section? Tried to make a new folder for junk as a sub-folder in Trash. Didn't realize the location was set for "On My Mac" and now I can't find it.

Want a junk folder that I can see. Also, I did see this question elsewhere with no answer: when an email is brown & says it's junk, there is no option for saying it's not junk and to not mark email from that sender as junk again.

How to use FC to make a sub-component for Flex

Most of the examples and tutorials I've seen so far assume you are creating the app itself in FC.
However, what I need to do is create a custom component that will be a "screen" in a large Flex app, like a page in a Wizard.
So if I was doing this without FC, I'd make a new mxml component in Flex, e.g. "WizardStep.mxml" and then in the main app,

Unfortunately it still doesn't work.
In FC I used the file menu item "publish as swf" ( or however it's called in English -
I'm also struggling with the -unwanted- German workspace terms). This generated
the deploy-to-web and run-local folders. In Flex3, I imported haupt.swf (=main.swf)
from the run-local folder.
When I use the imported file in the Image tag with the
loadForCompatibily attribute set to "true",the application compiles,
opens the IE, the remaining LinkBar buttons are not affected - they
show/run the Flash Pro .swfs and their controls,
but the attempt to access the .swf in question produces:

Be aware, that you have to work with the positioning, and that the TextFields are overlapping the takkis, so that the clicking is only possible in a minor fraction of the takkis.

I am trying to make a numbers template for my Veterinary office.

How do I make a range chart. I want to have Numbers calculate a dose of anesthetic when I enter weight in pounds from weight ranges, i.e. 4 - 7 lbs = 0.12 mls, 7 - 9 lbs = 0.15 lbs, 9 - 11 lbs = .2 mls. The other drug doses are based on mls/kg and I can calculate those from lbs or kgs. Thanks for your help.

I'll include a copy of my flow chart in Numbers and the columns of the dosing chart. I want to be able to enter lbs in C2 for dogs and C3 for cats and have kgs and common drug doses displayed. Then I'll print the sheet and use it to record anesthesia parameters and times and comments, too. It then will be part of the permanent medical record.
The dose for DexDomitor for dogs is based on body surface area. I could calculate Meter squared=10.1 X kg to the 2/3 power X 10 to the -4th power and then multiplying that time 0.375 would give MLs dose, too. If that works, I need a formula for that math in Numbers.
If I use MATCH or LOOKUP with a chart, where do I put the chart, on page or off page? Can I link formulas together to recreate the chart? i.e. 4 lbs is 0.12, 5 lbs is 0.12, etc, so that I can put all the formulas in the C2 cell?

Trying to make a better shortcut for moving mails to mailboxes - any ideas?

Mail Act-On no longer works for me since upgrading to Yosemite, and the developer isn't sure if he can get it to (the problem seems to be that I also have the Japanese keyboard installed, but Act-On no longer works in that case, even when not using the Japanese keyboard). Anyway, there is a clunky sort of short-cut in Mail itself you can use to move messages: CMD+SHIFT+?.
This opens up the Help > Search menu. If you search for the name of a mailbox you can then select the mailbox from the resulting search list and move or copy emails to the folder.
It's clunky, because it takes more time, and oftentimes it doesn't indicate if you are moving or copying. But it's better than nothing. And quicker than going through the entire hierarchy of mailboxes to move it (I have a lot of mailboxes).
I've been trying to create an easier short-cut than CMD+SHIFT+? because I use this all the time. But all my attempts to set a short-cut for the Mail app in the keyboard shortcut settings have failed. I wonder if it's because there is also a general search feature in Mail which interferes.
Anybody know how to set a short-cut for Help > Search?
Or even better, anybody know some tools for shortcuts to (1) move messages to mailboxes and (2) open mailboxes?

Are you using iPhoto '11 on a Mac?
Try to print your Card (using the main menu bar "File > Print" or save the printed version to pdf.
Then you can check, which text still is default. The default text will be missing from your print - see for example the screenshot below. Also you can check the measurements on your printed copy. In the print menu you can use the arrow buttons to step through the pages of your card.
