willing to 'upgrade' to Windows 7 Professional x64. I went into the registry and changed the Product Name to Windows 7 PROFESSIONAL and I changed the EditionID to Professinal. When I was trying to install Windows 7 Professional, I received the following message:
The following issues are preventing Windows from upgrading. Cancel the upgrade, complete each task, and then restart the upgrade to continue.
Your current version of Windows is more recent than the version you are trying to upgrade to. Windows cannot complete the upgrade.
There is not enough free space on partition (K:). A total of 15 megabytes (MB) of free disk space is required. Try Disk Cleanup, or moving files to an external location such as a CD, DVD, or external hard drive, and then restart the installation.
When I tried to rename one of my drive to K using disk management, it says the drive letter K is already mapped to a network share or a local path. In order to see the volume after the operation, you must remove current mapping.
What am I doing wrong? Please help. Thank you so much.
You can't just change the product name and have it work. At this point your best bet is to
go to this thread and follow the directions and post your results in a new thread in
the Windows Genuine Forums. That way, they can determine exactly which type of install you have and what your options are.

Iphone 3Gs updated from 4.1 to IOS 6 but have issue, please help!
I bought this phone from UK and got jailbreak Pakistan.
It was running okay until I decided to upgrade from ios4.1 to ios6 because whenever I was trying to open facebook, safari was crushing.
Now its updated to IOs6 and I was taken to the activation screens, and begun with the welcome one, choose language, choose location services (later on it also disappears) and selecting Wi-Fi and/or iTunes for activation.
I chose a Wi-Fi network the process started, and gave me a message that it will take about few minutes to activate iPhone, few minutes later a screen with this message appears: "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable."
Then, I decided to try the activation using iTunes. But alas no luck using iTunes, after few minutes, it shows the following message:
We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time.
Please try again later, or contact customer care.
I tried several times in both ways so I started to find out some info about this trouble over the Internet but I did not find any answer or solution either!

That's your problem, iTunes has detected a jailbroken device & errored out. Apple does not support jailbreaking & when detected, by iTunes, you get the result you're experiencing.

As I was installing the Windows 7 on my Imacwith the bootcamp and stated how I wanted to divide the drive I put 160, but I want to add more space because of the adobe software it will not install two of them, so how can I add more on the drive space to from 160 to 250? please help thank you.

First, back up all the information on your Windows partition. Then run Boot Camp
Assistant to restore your disk to a single volume. Restart your computer and use Boot

I had the same issue this morning downloading a pre-order of Alanis, Flavors of Entanglement . I noticed that the only thing that had changed fro me was that I had some song credits for purchasing ticketmaster tickets over the past few weeks. When I went ahead and spent my remaining credits... it downloaded with no prompting or trouble. Maybe the credits issues hangs it up?

I have been trying to put some of my music and artwork, on youtube. Youtube says you need an encoder to upload music. But the problem is the only encoders available are for windows. Please help, thank you

Since YouTube supports AAC, the file format iTunes uses by default, it's probable you don't need any sort of converter.

I have set up several EVENTs for my photos in iPhoto. Now when I click on an Event, I want to arrange the pictures within this event , when I click on the picture I want to move, it does not move, it stays in place. ( yellow fram around the picture does appear ) I clicked on the VIEW tab, selected " sort EVENTS" than I slide over to manually and the word appears in grey rather than black . Therefore I am unable to move the picture to the place I want it to be within that same event. Please be kind and Help, thank you, manfred from jupiter

My version of iPhoto is : " iPhoto 08 " , version 7.1.5 ( 378 )
I set up an " Album " as you suggested and this procedure works, I am able in this new Album to change the pictures around as I want it to be.
However in checking back at the same " Event" Album / Gallery the pictures still remain the old way and do not show the changes I made in the new Album version.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

I have also tried searching for them in finder and going through the trash, i have had no luck yet and confused on where they might be.
With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a solution. We can't see your computer so we need to know the details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
what do you see in the iPhoto window when iPhoto opens?
what fixes have you tried?
where is your library normally located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
how much free space on your boot drive?
If you launch iPhoto with the Option key held down you'll get a window with all libraries that iPhoto an find. What do you see in that window?
If you select a library in the window it's location will be shown directly beneath that window. -

So you created a document 192000 pixels wide, and 108000 tall, and set the type to be 2 inches tall. Yes, the type is going to take a few minutes to render in that document.
Yes, you created a document much bigger than you probably intended (you probably wanted 1920 PIXELS by 1080 PIXELS).
Pixels and inches are not the same, and you need to pay attention to the units. -
I removed Version 4. I had trouble getting Norton on the toolbar and it will not support the Yahoo toolbar with many of my bookmarks. I down graded and now it open a new window with each website...I am not use to this clutter since I quit using IE in favor of you

I've downloaded Thunderbird and have imported all emails etc - works great!
BUT when I try to do a mail merge it doesn't work! I've saved my excel file as cvs and understand that I need to use {{Email}} , {{First Name}} etc

You downloaded 'Mail Merge' and it is displayed in the Thunderbird 'Addon Manager' and it is enabled.
Open the .csv file and checked that the info you are entering in the Write message eg: {{Email}} , {{First Name}} etc is the same as the column headers.
example:
{{FirstName}} OR {{First Name}}
{{Email}} OR {{Primary Email}}
you can edit the .csv file to change eg: {{Primary Email}} to {{Email}}
you can also move the column headers, so that the first three columns show : First Name, Last Name, Email -
