Trying to play diablo 3, graphics card incompaitble

Hey guys,
I just bought Diablo 3 yesterday and it says my graphics card isnt able to run the game. I have a HP pavillion DV6-1230us, im running windows 7 64-bit with the first service pack. All my drivers and software are up to date it still wont let me play. I can see now that my graphics card (even though it was in the fine print) was not compatible with the game. My question is , is there anyway I can get software upgrade just to push me over the edge to be able to play or is this gonna require me to get a whole new computer? Thanks!

Welcome to the Apple discussions!
Generally, as discussed above, having 2 mount points for the same disk in the volumes folder won't prevent a successful backup. But in your case (#15!), that's a problem. More often than not, they are being created by Time Machine because you already have one or more instances of the Time Capsule disk mounted on your desktop. Ejecting the TC disk when it is not needed is the best way to avoid creating multiple mount points.

Trying to find a new Graphics card for G4 Quicksilver Dual 1 ghtz

Hello All,
I am looking to upgrade my video card for gaming purposes. I have been doing research and thought I had found a card I could use. Then I researched more, and confused myself. There comes a point when one must ask
So I have the Geforce 4 MX right now and want to upgrade. At first I read that the ATI 3850 AGP would be a nice card to use, though I don't think it will work in my machine. I then came across the ATI 2600 XT. I also see that the 9800 pro is good. Then I hear about flashing....help?
So my questions are:
What is the best card that I can put in my trusty ole G4 Quicksilver?
A rough price range perhaps? Would I need to add a fan, or is the fan that comes on the graphics card sufficient?
Should I look solely at flashed cards, and if so would I flash it myself or buy one that is flashed already?
I am looking at spending no more than $200 on a card, is that a good amount for a card? It seems like it it isn't the top, but will do pretty good at buying a decent card.
I really appreciate these forums, and have read quite a bit here. But once I start researching I soon find myself reading about other interesting things (since there is so much great information here) and 2 hours later I remember why I came here in the first place.

Well, I purchased a ATI 9800 Pro Mac Edition.
*_A warning_*, if you have an Apple Cinema Display check the connection type. If it is an older display, you probably have a ADC connection. The newer models have a DVI connection. Make sure the video card has that type of connection on it or you will have to buy a ADC to DVI converter from Apple. This costs $99.00.
When purchasing a video card keep this in mind and add this to the price you will be paying to use the video card.

New graphics card not working in old Pavilion elite

Hey, so i bought a new graphics card, ASUS strix 750ti oc ed., when i plug it in to my Pavilion elite hpe 531sc i get a blue screen with the hp logo and a text saying 'press esc for startup menu' or something like that. Pressing esc does nothing, pressing any other button does me nothing either.
I tried plugging in the old graphics card, it still sort of works except i cant really play games or get my resolution above 800x600, and install the drivers and all for the new graphics card. But the new graphics card still dont work when plugged back in.
So im at a loss here, is my desktop simply too old or something?

Graphic Card general question

As you can tell by my question, I'm not to computer savvy, but I'm trying to learn.
I am wondering just what does the Graphic Card do, and what kind of performance increase can I expected from an upgrade ? I'm currently using the one that can with my G4 867. here is what is listed in the system profiler.

I not bashing PC , but the fact is many of my friends have gotten new PC's twice since then , and my G4 still out performs entry level Dells.

My machine is 10+ now.
With CS 2 and older versions of Final Cut, you could get along pretty well with a $250 graphics upgrade (flashed Geforce 7800GS).
I get along with CS2 quite well in my 2.0GHz Sawtooth, as well as a 933MHz Quicksiver 2002 with a Geforce 6800GT.
I don't use Final Cut, but, any video encoding on either machine, is an overnight and then some process.
Editing is fine, just the encoding.
Your machine would be similar to the QS in performance, and the 7800GS is a more powerful card (the 6800GT is cheaper, but it won't work in MDD machines).
Problem is, you said something about WoW.
With any online gaming or video, the CPU is more at play than the graphics card.
A graphics card will help some, but CPU is more important.
Besides, $250 for an upgrade is a good downpayment on a new machine.
Graphics upgrades aren't very cheap, especially if the upgrade is to have impact.
the MAC was the standard with most pro-audio , and OSX looked so nice.
OS X is sweet.
It works like an OS should.

Graphics Card Hell

Trying to replace the original graphics card "AMD Radeon™ HD 6670 Graphics" with a new replacement "PNY - GeForce GT 610 2GB DDR3". When I boot up with this new card, I get the HP startup blue screen (says press ESC for startup menu). This screen is all I ever see. I tried pressing ESC and that did not do anything. I waited an hour and the screen NEVER changed.
This computer has more than enough power and this is a fairly simple card (no power input and smaller).
I also tried a larger card (EVGA - GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5) before this but returned it (thankfully Best Buy let me return) because I thought the PSU was not good enough, but maybe I was hitting the same issue I am hitting with this smaller simpler card.
The only reason I am want to change out the graphics card is because the current card's fan is making a irritating loud noise almost constantly now. The noise has been occurring for years but only happened every now and then in the past.
I just need a card to handle 2 24 inch monitors. I do not play intense games.
Right now I am starting to think I may have to purchase a new computer to get rid of the irrating noise. This would be ridiculous for a 3 year old computer.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Since your computer was released prior to the mid-October, 2012 date, it has the standard BIOS. This is the reason that the GTX 750ti wouldn't work. It requires UEFI in the motherboard.
I suggest installing the GT 610 and clearing the CMOS:
caution:
Do not change any jumper setting while the computer is on. Damage to the motherboard can result.
This motherboard has a jumper to clear the Real Time Clock (RTC) RAM in CMOS.
Turn OFF the computer and unplug the power cord.
Move the jumper to clear for 5 to 10 secs, then move the jumper back to default.
Plug the power cord and turn ON the computer.
On the next startup, enter BIOS setup to re-enter user settings.
This may solve your problem.

Urgent Help Needed: ATI Graphics Card install

Hello All.... I am in need of some urgent help..
I am trying to install a new graphics card - the ATI Radeon 9600 SE. I currently have a Voodoo3 card. I followed all of the instructions step by step, but when I plug the monitor to the Radeon card and boot up, I do not get any display. I have tried everything I can think of, and yet - I am sure the card is secured in place and the monitor is plug into the card.
Can anyone help me on this one.. ATI's support is, well - lacking..

No, you can't do this. The Xserve will only take PCI video cards; high-end graphics cards all use the very high speed AGP interface. The best graphics card you can put in it is probably going to be an ATI Radeon 7000 or thereabouts.
The Xserve is not designed as a desktop machine. My suggestion is you buy a PowerMac G5 instead

Graphics card issue?

Every time I open up my Photoshop CC on my PC,
it is telling me that "my graphics card doesn't meet requirements"
My system specs are: Intel Core (tm) i7-4500CU @ 1.80GHz 2.40GHz
8G RAM 64-bit op system, x64 processor windows 8.1
I have tried many times updating my graphics card, and no matter how many times I walk through it, it doesnt fix the issue.

The only time you will see that pop-up is for the 3D functions. There you must have a minimum of 512 MB of video ram on your graphics card. Other functions that require OpenGL 2.0 at a minimum may just work fine.
Help > System Info will give you the maker and model of the card as well as how much video ram it has. You can then know if it's in the list of supported cards.
When we ask you to update drivers, we mean that you have to go to the maker's website (Intel, Ati, or Nvdia) for the latest drivers not Windows Update or your PC maker (Dell, in my case).

Checking graphic card compatibility

I am trying to get a new graphic card for my pc but I'm not sure if the it compatible with my pc. The psu of my desktop is 300W and the graphic card is am planning to buy has a requirement of 300W with (Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 16 Amps.) There is nothing on the spec page on this site that says anything about my pc's volts or amps. So how do I find out about my desktops volt current rating and whether it would still be compatible.

HP pavilion 17 problems switching amd graphics card

HP pavilion 17 with AMD radeon 8670M
I tried to switch from intel graphics card to AMD graphics card, at the switchable graphics menu.
Switched to high performance at some games, but I still can't run the game at high settings, and even low settings are too high, the game is still a bit slow . I have searched for some solutions, like changing the card in the BIOS, but the setting to change cards, wasn't in the BIOS. Nothing helped, and after a year i still don't have a solution to this problem...
Does anyone knows a solution to this, what am I doing wrong?

MSI H55M-E32 will not detect Graphics card

HI,
I just bought a new cpu, i am using the intel intergrated graphics (on-board) at the moment. I tried installing radeon 9600 pro graphics card but the mobo does not detect it. Monitor is black screen, no boot up. btw the fan on radeon 9600pro is not spinning.
I tried using another graphics card that i have. A creative gf4 Ti4200. no boot up on monitor as well. fan not spinning.

P7-1235, black screen after adding a discrete graphic card

Hello,
I tried to install a discrete graphic card to my P7-1235. The card is AMD 7950, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131478
The card was tested on another computer and could post without problems.
I upgraded the PSU to 600w. and plug both 6pin connectors to GPU. After I push the power button, the computer is running but the screen remains black, no video signal. I tried to connect the monitor to dvi on 7950 and integrated dvi but no luck. Anyone has any idea how to solve this?

I play the Sims 3 and recently the game started to freeze. I researched and most advised to update my graphics card. To be sure of my graphics card type I ran the Intel System Identification Utility and this is the information it gave me:
