Trying to post images to Facebook from within Lightroom

I know that this will work, but unfortunately I have not been able to get this to work, and after spending nearly 3 hours with technical support, I am no closer than when I started the call.
I get the following error message

Has anyone seen this or know what to do with it since technical support kept getting this and did not know what to do?
I am on Windows 7 with latest updates along with Lightroom 3.4.1 on a 64 bit system with 12 gig of ram. Lightroom was originally installed on D drive but per support, it is now installed on the C drive which resulted in the same behavior.
The account setup on Facebook appears to be corrrect and the image appears to post until clicking on the "view on Facebook" is selected.

Yes. All images are imported into lightroom and editable. Green light is also showing on the folders tab just the same as with my c drive. I can move/rename images and folders etc from explorer but then have to locate them for lightroom to find.

Opening an image to edit from within Lightroom

Hi there
I have just installed Lightroom 5 on my iMac running Yosemite.
When I click on 'edit in', I have the option of opening PS CS5 or Elements 13, both of which are installed.
If I choose CS5, the image opens OK. When I choose Elements, the image doesn't open for editing.
Any suggestions?

Go to Preferences, then click on the External Editing tab, then under Additional External Editor click on "Choose" and then (remember, this is on Windows, not Mac) point to PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe

If you have an iPad or iPhone Click, then first login to facebook on your device. Then, launch Revel, navigate to an album and click on the icon. When you sign in to Revel, it is possible to sign in using your Adobe id, or you can click on the Facebook or Google option and login there. (See image below). When you log in with Google or Facebook, even though it looks like Revel is asking for your password, it is actually a Google/Facebook webpage asking you. By design, for your security, Revel and Adobe never touch or store your Facebook/Google password.
It is possible to login to Revel using your Adobe Id, and then post to Facebook from your phone or ipad to a Facebook account that uses a different email account to login. You must already be logged in to Facebook on your device when you use Revel. Revel will ask permission to use your photos and post to your friends. You can change your Adobe ID password to match either your facebook or google one if you want (or make all 3 the same if you choose).

If you use different email accounts to login to Facebook, Google, and your Adobe ID and you want to post from Revel to Facebook or Google, one option is to make all of the login email addresses the same. Can't post photos on Facebook from iPad since upgrading to ios8

Since upgrading to ios8 I can no longer post photos on Facebook from existing photos on my iPad 2. Is this a problem connected to the upgrade or something else? Also, since the upgrade my keyboard sometimes freezes up and I have to refresh the page and start over and lose whatever I had been working on. Also an ios8 issue?

I hate to sound obnoxious, and I really do appreciate your efforts to help me. The link actually is not what Facebook normally does. Yes, the thumbnail goes to your FB profile. But if you had pasted almost any other link in the link publisher, you'd get a second thumbnail and a L/R arrow that allows you to scroll through the graphics posted on the linked site and pick one to serve as a thumbnail from your website. Then, had you linked to a page with a long and cumbersome address, you'd have seen the link "cleaned up" aesthetically so that you would not see 4 lines of URL, but a tidy site title and abbreviated link. That's what I'm missing, and scrolling down that iWeb interest page on Facebook shows a lot of others with the same issue.
But as I said, earlier, I really have about stopped caring and am planning to take Ethmoid's advice and can iWeb altogether and look to some other arrangement for managing my site, though I find it ironic that I was urged to dump iWeb by people on the Apple discussion board!

HT1338 I keep trying to post things to facebook via iphoto and everytime I try to set it up it tells me an error has occurred and to try again later. I try later and it still says this, it's been saying it for the past week now.

Can I change Filename from within Lightroom?

I am in the Trial Period with Lightroom, having just used it for two days. I assume that one must be able to change a photo's filename from within Lightroom, but I surely can't see how to do it, having looked in the Help file and through all the menus.
Here's what I'm trying to do. When I take photos, I create a descriptive filename that tells me what's in the image. Then I import a big batch. What I want to do is to create slideshows from those images in a different order from the importing order: maybe it's slide 23, then 15, then 10, etc. I was hoping to do this by sticking sort numbers on the front of the filenames (changing the filenames), and then sorting on the filenames to create the desired slideshow sequence.
But, I can't find a way to change the filename within LR. If I do it outside LR, then I lose whatever work I've already done on the images.
Am I overlooking some obvious better way to do this?

It is peculiar, that Chrome, Safari, and Skype can access FB, but not the iPhoto uploader.
Do you see any error messages/ diagnostics in the Console Window, when you try to connect to Facebook?
Launch a Console window from Applications > Utilities and clear the Console Window. Then try to upload. Are there any new messages?
And also launch a Terminal and have a look, if "facebook.com" is properly resolved:

Trying to submit images to WHCC from Aperture -- I'm stumped

I'm trying to send images to White House Custom Color for initial test printing and I'm stumped on how to conform my files to their requirements: sized to 8x10 at 300 PPI, in any imbedded color space and saved as a baseline standard, level 10 JPEG.
I've cropped them to 8x10, but can't figure out how to set the rest: PPI? color space? level 10 JPEG? I've been unable to find any information on the net that's not tailored to Photoshop users. Calling WHCC customer service was no help at all.
I'm hoping someone here who's used WHCC can instruct me on how to export my images correctly so I can send them off to WHCC. Thanks.

One quick related question: I'm only given an option to set the DPI (rather than PPI.) Do I set this at 300 (their requirement is 300 PPI) or do I need to do some sort of conversion?

Editing images in PS CS6 within Lightroom 5

If I import my raw images into my Lightroom 5 library and edit some of them in CS6 within Lightroom 5 by using the tab. How can I save them from CS6 back into my Lightroom 5 Library after making further adjustments?

In the Library there is Sort Order and with some settings the edited file will be at the end rather than next to the original file. I use Capture Time and they return exactly.

Buying prints from within Lightroom?

I'm a pro and currently buy quite a few prints for clients from within Aperture. The convenience, price and quality is great. However I'm switching to Lightroom and the only thing that seems to be missing is buying prints from inside the application. I've looked for a plugin with no luck. I guess there probably is one? The other option is to export pictures and upload them to a lab but that would complicate the workflow and take longer. Any ideas? I'm in the UK. Thanks.

Hey Michael, I've been in touch with a few labs in the UK to see if they had an API (software interface for developers), but none seemed interested in allowing someone to creata a plugin for their services. You could look at Smugmug or Zenfolio as services for print buying, and while there are publish plugins for these, it's still a step extra to order.

Posting to a separate facebook page from within Lightroom

I set up the fb publishing service and it works really well. The problem that I currently have is that I created a professional page and want the albums to appear there. How can I achieve this? I do not want the albums in my private timeline, but in this professional page.

Thanks a lot! I tried to play with this plugin, but did not find out how to post to other pages. FB has me change the "user" to see the business pages and on the business pages I do not see the other stuff. I guess for posting to the business page there would have to be a setting in the plugin somewhere, but I could not find anything like that.

Cannot Post Status on Facebook from Notification Center in OS X

Up until two days ago, I was able to post Facebook Status through Notification Center without any issues.
However, I am not getting error messages saying that "Connection to Facebook has failed"
However, I can still share through Safari and other application without any issues. (including Preview, etc)
I have tried all the possible solution that was mentioned when this issue previously arose when using within Safari. (which included erasing cookies and resetting Safari), and installing the latest Combo update (which, by now is 10.8.4). But none of the methods has worked so far. I have even tried re-setting the PRAM, and issue still persists.
I am basically stumped. Is there any solution, or is this issue on Apple or Facebook's end? (I heard it's authentication, but I doubt it, since it still works on my iPad running iOS 6)
Note that I have no issues when posting to Twitter. That still works.

Problem posting photos to facebook from Organizer

I have always exported photos from Organizer and then posted those .jpg files on Facebook however, this has suddenly stopped working. I am still exporting the same way to a .jpg file but Facebook now tells me that it can't read the file. I have confirmed that the files are under 4mg and they look normal in Finder. Nothing has changed on my computer and I'm baffled as to why this has happened.
Please advise on how to fix this problem!

Thank you. I'm not sure how to capture a screen shot but the error is "Can't read Files. Your photos need to be less than 4MG and saved as JPG, PNG, GIF or TIFF files"
My file was exported as a .jpg and was 1.2 MB but I still got this error.
I tried your suggestion listed above and restarted but when trying again, got the same error.
I tried to export the file as a TIFF and it seems to work fine. This seems to have something to do with the process of exporting to JPG. I have been using the same workflow for a year and I'm not sure why it stopped working.
