Trying to print, PC says it will send a fax Officejet 6600

My HP Officejet 6600, which I had to reinstall due to a connexion problem, calles itself now FAX HP Officejet 6600 in the PC.
No way to have it printing. My PC is a HP Pavilion h8-1030be. It keeps asking a fax number.
Any idea how to configure the printer in the PC, so as to have it printing when I want it to de that.
Anyway, I'll try now to restart the PC, and see what happens.

My iphone got stolen and i went to find my iphone on my ipod to remote lock it and i remote locked it about 5 times and it says it will send a email when the iphone has been locked but i never got a email does that mean the thief has went to itunes

aww so if they restore it i wont be able to dial the old phone number that i had on it even if i turned it on.... and since i never got a message saying that the lock has been successfully added they already restored it :3

My Laser Jet Pro CM1415fnw color - will not print ... will let me fax... then it goes to a screen like it is thinking ....the screen shows HP.... enerystar.... and a white bar on the bottom ...then it "initializing" and acts like it wants to print something. Help

Does the printer ever come to "ready" or Home screen? If it does not then i would recommend calling support and they may be able to help you with restoring the device to factory settings. If this is constantly occuring every time you boot you may want to try upgrading the fw to the latest version. Also if it is just showing "Calibrating" very frequently in the Embedded WebServer (EWS), navigate to IP if you have it, in the "System" , "Print quality", you can can change the calibration timers and see if that helps.

Printer update for OS X Yosemite for HP Officejet 6600

Just upgraded to Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10. My printer HP Officejet 6600 is not supported. I got a message in red alert "Blocked" or "Not trusted" or "Return code:1625" message. Where can I find the printer upgrade?

Updated to Yosemite on the 21st and my ENVY 110 isn't communicating with the computer.

How do I get this to talk to a HP Deskjet 1050 Printer but the Printer program says it will not install Should I try to install Windows 7?

Printer is HewlettPackard Deskje t 1050 All-in-One 1510 series. In attempting to install the printer software received an error message saying it could not be installed on this operating system.
The error message said to install it on one of the following:
Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or better (32 bit only).
Windows Vista
or
Windows 7.

How do I log into icloud when I don't remember the password and safety question and it say it will send by e-mail to that address?

What happen was this I had to back up my mom's ipod and her icloud account is well no longer allowing her to log on. Printing screenshot in preview using snow leopard HP officejet 6600

Since installing Snow Leopard and my new hp officejet6600 (same time), i can no longer adjust screenshot size in PREVIEW before printing. I open my screenshot in preview, I adjust the size (in order not to waste cartridge)--and save--all this works. BUT THEN, when the print dialogue box opens up in PREVIEW, the scale shows home huge percentages, like 350% or 600%- different each time but always way over 100, even though my image is tiny. I change the scale, but the image size does not change and does not print small either. HP says to call APPLE but APPLE authorized people say it is the printer. PLEASE HELP!!

Have you tried installing the Snow Leopard drivers from the HP website? If so, you should have the HP utility. Here is a link that might help. Towards the bottom are directions on how to access the utility.

HP Office jet 6700 ,trying to print and it will say Printer Ready, Empty Print File !

I have a HP Office Jet 6700. I'm trying to print a document , it will say prining Untitled . The printer queue will open up and say printer is ready, empty print file,Idle.
It automatically goes into paused printer. When I try to click on the document itself in the print queue and resume print it gives the same message again.
The Power on the actual printer is flashing slowly as well.
I hae restarted my computer and shut down the printer completey multiple times and it still has not worked. I just printed something on this last night so I'm not sure what the probelm is.

I read your post about the printing issues you've been experiencing on your Mac running 10.6 and your Officejet 6700. I have a few ideas in mind to get started and let me know the results and we will take it from there.
Update the Firmware on the printer: Getting the Latest Firmware and Product Updates
Power reset the printer and make sure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help greatly.
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
Make a few copies afterwards and tell me if the copies pause, cancel, do not work, etc.
Try printing from Text Edit on your Mac as well, and get back to me with the results.

Trying to print targets to profile in CS4...

I wanted to revisit an issue I had been having several months ago in the hopes that a fix may exist, or that more people may now be aware of it...
I'm trying to print Bill Atkinson's RGB targets running CS4 in 10.5.8. I'm familiar with the necessary settings in order to print a color target, but no matter what I try I cannot make it print. The file will send to the printer, the paper will advance (even if I tell it to start at the leading edge), then it will go through the motions of printing, though no ink is laid down. No errors or anything, there's just nothing there. I am able to print the targets just fine from Windows or any Mac running CS3. There is another problem, and I'm sure this is related- once I finally manage to get my profile created and try to print an image in 16-bit... no dice. It's like a practical joke, its as though the printer is saying "ok, if this is your density for a 8-bit print, I'll just double it, then we'll have 16-bit!" It prints, and the print quality is good, it's just more than twice as dark as it should be, as I see it on the screen, and as it prints in 8-bit. Strange stuff...
Any idears?

Ahh, so I am not alone. I didn't think I was, even though Epson assured me of it. lol

Printer Share says that my printing is complete, but nothing printed.

I am trying to print from an Android Razr to my 8600 Officejet using PrinterShare. The phone says the printing is completed, but nothing printed. I am also having a problem getting my phone Wi-Fi to communicate with my printer.

Hi there, if you are having trouble getting your phone and printer to communicate that may explain why nothing is coming out of the prettier. I'm not familiar enough with the service you are using (Printer Share) but what might be happening is that your job request is being received but is not able to be delivered to the printer for completion.
Can you print wirelessly to your printer from another device e.g. a laptop? Does the printer lose connection to your wireless network intermittently? The more information you can provide the more likely you are to get a solution from the Forum users. Your printer is ePrint enabled and you should be able to print to it from your Android device using HP's free ePrint Home & Biz Mobile Print app. You could try installing that on your phone and see if that solution works for you. Provided you register the phone t the ePrint service once you've installed the app you'll be able to send content to the printers email address fro printing from anywhere in the world provided the printer and the phone are connected to the internet, but not necessarily connected with each other on the same WiFi network.
Try and rule out any fundamental problems with your printers wireless connectivity and take it from there. Post back if you're running into problems and need suggestions.

I keep getting asked to answer security questions and I can't remember them. Apple says it's sending an email but haven't received one but as soon as I got on community I got an immediate email. It's driving me nuts not being able to get on iTunes.

I'm trying to get on iTunes, I know my password but don't remember the security questions. It says it will send an email but haven't received one, I know email is right I got an immediate one when I got on the community discussion. Any ideas?

Try going to id.apple.com and signing in using Manage Apple ID. Click on the Password and Security section on the left and check the space under your security questions. If you have a rescue email, then a button will be there that can be used to send a reset link to that email. It will usually have the email address blanked out except for the first letter.
The only other way to reset the questions would be to call Apple Support at 1-800- MY-APPLE and have the account security team look at your ID. They will ask you for a temporary support pin and one other piece of secure information from the account, such as your current security questions, the credit card linked to the account, a device serial number, or a verification code that they can send to your devices. The support pin can be gathered using the same id.apple.com page. It is in the bottom-left corner of Password and Security. The support pin cannot be skipped, but the second piece of information for the verification can be whatever of the options they give works best for you.
Once they have the support pin and one other piece of information to confirm your identity, they can reset your security question without needing to send you an email. Just sign out of appleid.apple.com while they send the reset, and when you sign back in the Passwords and Security section will change to ask you for new security questions and your birthdate.
